  1. He had much right, but the Miami was sooooooo wrong that it wrecked the whole article.
  2. I'm not sure if I can buy the fact that another mole is in CTU. But, on the whole, I like this season.
  3. "The Michael Vick Experience" will be shut down indefinitely for repairs.
  4. The NFC has been very lame. AFC has been better, but not by much.
  5. There is only one solution. You must go get a gallon of gasoline and pour it on Mincel and burn him and the shirt.
  6. Hey- I got skipped
  7. While we're at it- is Phil "just give it to them" Luckett still reffing?
  8. That's Barney. He did that when Moe left him to watch the bar.
  9. Raise a toast to this hero!
  10. 1: If you were my son, Mac, I would've smothered you by now. 2: Smothered me in gravy you big dirty man!
  11. Ocean's Eleven
  12. I was there. I thought the Super Bowl was foregone conclusion. I don't even want to think of the next week, it'll cause darkness in me.
  13. I found some photos here: http://www.emporis.com/en/il/im/?id=285586 http://www.emporis.com/en/il/im/?id=288552 http://www.emporis.com/en/il/im/?id=288553 http://www.emporis.com/en/il/im/?id=286847 Looks like a nice medium sized city.
  14. That's not the first time I head good things about Racing Stripes. I also heard Polar Express was very good for kids and adults. I had to drive to Marin County to see Sideways. It was playing in a theatre in the city, but I like the one in Sausalito where it was playing, plus I could go to dinner at a favorite place while there. So I had to drive 10 miles or so to see it as well. But it was worth it. It is the kind of movie that doesn't need to be seen i nthe theatre (like a Spiderman or Lord of the Rings). It'll be fine to wait for tv.
  15. Royal: Are you trying to steal my woman? Henry Sherman: I beg your pardon. Royal: You heard me, Coltrane. Henry Sherman: "Coltrane"? Royal: What? Henry Sherman: Did you just call me Coltrane? Royal: No. Henry Sherman: You didn't? Royal: No. Henry Sherman: Okay...
  16. That's one of my favorite movies. It wasn't really about the plot, so much as it was about the diverse and odd characters and their dysfunction in dealing with each other. I thought it was hilarious. Is there a better character than Pagoda? [Royal motions to Pagoda] Royal: He saved my life, you know. Thirty years ago. I was knifed at a bazaar in Calcutta, and he carried me to the hospital on his back. Ari: Who stabbed you? [Royal motions to Pagoda again] Royal: He did. There was a price on my head, and he was a hired assassin. Stuck me in the gut with a shiv.
  17. Yeah, this is a kind of a limited release independent movie that you only see in art-house theatres. But, don't let that scare you. It's a great comedy that is a little dark and offbeat. I would compare it to Bad Santa or Rushmore. The director did About Schmidt and Election, to give you an idea of the talent. And the acting is A+. It's been out here in San Francisco for a while, but in only a few theatres. It is worth the drive. If you see it and don't like it, let me know and I'll send a check to cover the ticket. I'm serious.
  18. Go see Sideways. That's the best movie I've seen in a while.
  19. He's right- Exhibit A: http://www.foodnetwork.com/food/hosts_cele...42136%2C00.html
  20. Wings should be no more than .50 cents apiece. .30 cents would be ideal.
  21. I think Herm does a pretty damn good job there. He outcoached Marty a few weeks back. If he gets the axe, he will have many offers.
  22. I'm in, but it's pretty quiet.
  23. After further thought, if the stranger were a hot chick in a bikini, I'm afraid Fido would be on his own.
  24. I'd sic my dog on the stranger and then have him use his floating corpse as an island until I rescued him.
