Joe Burrow…”Nothing to do in Cincinnati”
SF Bills Fan replied to LabattBlue's topic in The Stadium Wall
I’ve been to Cincinnati many times and it’s a good place with plenty to do. We’ve heard it said about Buffalo many times. My question is- what are the things these people like to do that you can’t in places like Buffalo or Cincinnati? Yes it’s no Miami with beaches but what other activities are missing? -
Dion Dawkins, Stefon Diggs named to Pro Bowl
SF Bills Fan replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
Jackson over Allen? So the pro bowl really doesn’t mean much I guess. -

Highmark Stadium Difference Between 100 and 300 Level Seats
SF Bills Fan replied to Irv's topic in The Stadium Wall
I’m with you here- I like sitting higher up- you see the whole field and all the action. When I was at Bills- Texans playoff I was on 50 and 5 or 6 rows up. I had the cameras on wheels in the way a bunch and most of the action I had to watch on the big screens. You simply can’t see what is happening in the field most of the time. -
Sounds like it is going to be OP. I'd have preferred a downtown retractable roof dome that was closer to the border so the Canadians could get there more easily. I think the a big part of future revenue will be from the Canadian fans and the best way to get the fat cats from Toronto to come to the games and spend on expensive seats is to build a state if the art, amenity laden stadium out of the elements. Then they go to restaurants and stay at hotels. If you put a convention center next to it, even better. Sounds like the state is going to pay for a stadium in OP or would pony up the extra money for a dome downtown. Missed opportunity in my opinion.

Beasley has been making clutch catches recently so this is bad news. I feel like short passing game is the key for us this weekend too. McKenzie will be playing a bunch and does anyone know when Sanders is back?
-
Yep- they played the best game they could and we played poorly and still should have won. This time around with some different variables- better weather (favor us), no turnovers (neutral- don't forget that Pats punt fumble), un-biased officiating (favor us), injuries (appear to favor us- for now), home field for Pats (slightly in their favor). I like our chances much better. Who knows on the officiating, but things have been so bad for us that sooner or later that has to change.

If we can jump to a decent early lead and they have to play catch up by predominantly passing, then I would say they will be in lot of trouble.

NBC Boston: Bills are done, Pats make them lick dog *****
SF Bills Fan replied to Motorin''s topic in The Stadium Wall
This celebration is so premature- it’s like Germany declaring victory in WW2 after they invaded Poland. They are going to get the smug slapped off their faces and it’ll be fun to see. -
AFC Wildcard Rooting Interests Week 15
SF Bills Fan replied to EmotionallyUnstable's topic in The Stadium Wall
I have to believe that we can win out. So I am going to pull for Colts over Pats and then I hope we crush Pats. If we do that and win the division, then much of my disappointment on how things have gone so far will disappear. We've had a tough year with lots of bad bounces and calls. I think we get the mojo back and start to get some breaks and get hot. -
The Bills should make playoffs as 7th seed even if we lose to NE. But, if we win out and NE loses one more (which could very well happen) we win division and are 3rd seed.

Buffalo #1 NFL City ... for Bad Weather as per The Weather Channel

What are your expectations for the rest of the season?
SF Bills Fan replied to Success's topic in The Stadium Wall

Agree- I’m thinking longevity and big picture. This year looks bad and could get really bad from here. What do we need to do to get back on track next year? It’s very hard to turn an O-line around during a season.
-
No- we will not win the division and will squeak into the playoffs or even miss them. Even with the injuries Super Bowl calibre teams find ways to win. We are playing undisciplined and sloppy football. Coaching is a problem, play calling, Josh is playing poorly. So many problems. We won’t beat the Pats twice. We need to address the O-line and run game and look to next year.

Trubisky to covid 19 list; Davis Webb elevated from PS
SF Bills Fan replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
Josh Allen has become skilled at avoiding any controversy and drama. He studied the Tom Brady play book on how to be neutral and deflect loaded questions. He will never talk about vaccinations or reveal his status though I’m fairly certain he is vaccinated. He is too much of a team player to not get vaccinated. He knows the stakes. -
Theory about the Chief's Downturn Root Cause
SF Bills Fan replied to jethro_tull's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yes and one son, Garrett, died of a heroin overdose. I'd bet they had everything they wanted, huge house and money and zero oversight. He was probably never there and you never hear anything about his wife. He is married to football and is probably at the stadium 18 hours a day. How Britt was a coach makes zero sense. Reid probably thought it was the only way he could be close to him and have him around. -

Bad defense is the root cause. They are a terribly balanced team. -
Do players know immediately if a rookie is good or bad?
SF Bills Fan replied to Albany,n.y.'s topic in The Stadium Wall
I remember Jim Kelly was pretty enthusiastic about Josh Allen early on. He was never really too happy about guys like Manuel or Peterman. They see stuff none of us fans can. -
The number of Bills fans in the stadium and the takeover of Nashville will make news again

I think Diggs has matured a ton since his days in Minnesota. First off, it is a vastly different culture in Buffalo and he bought in. He has had the accolades and has proven himself. He was arguably the best receiver in the league last year. He doesn't needs stats to prove himself anymore. Now he wants the glory and the ring. He knows it will take the whole team to get that. We all saw him standing on the field watching the Chiefs last year. Him or Sanders- whatever it takes to be the team out there celebrating- he gets it.

Should we be thanking JJ Watt for not choosing Buffalo?
SF Bills Fan replied to benderbender's topic in The Stadium Wall
I didn’t want Watt. I thought it would be throwing a bunch of money at a guy in the decline. I’d rather develop young players via the draft like we are doing. Things have gone well for us and Watt is doing well in AZ which was the right place for him. -
Chiefs Message Board- Hilarious!!!
SF Bills Fan replied to BuffaloBillyG's topic in The Stadium Wall
That might be one of the stupidest thread intros I’ve ever read. Is that from the main KC message board?
