  1. Right, Marv should be fired before any of the rookies he drafted play a game in NFL because some fans read lots of mock drafts believe they know much better than a HOF coach.
  2. You still use only one game to evaluate a player, and on that game, the whole team didn't play well.
  3. Great analysis....................... not bad for an analysis based mainly on one play of a game against the NFC champion.
  4. Before someone question why Panthers let Reyes go: http://www.buffalobills.com/blog/?blogger_id=1 REYES RESEARCH: Some blog followers have been asking so I did some homework as to why the Carolina Panthers aren’t interested in re-signing Tutan Reyes who made a free agent visit with the Bills Tuesday. Talking to some people familiar with the offensive line situation down there, the Panthers coaching staff believes that second-year guard Evan Mathis is ready to take over. Apparently the coaching staff was thinking about making the move and insert Mathis into the starting lineup at midseason last year in place of Reyes, but the team was playing well and winning so they elected not to do so. It’s been explained to me that the Panthers liked Reyes and thought he was decent last season. They just believe he’s reached his ceiling as a player while there is considerable upside in their minds with Mathis their third round pick last year out of Alabama.
  5. Does this mean Fat Bennie and Fat Mike will be teammates again?
  6. Saints won't draft Brick. They have moved J.Brown to left tackle and don't need to use a #2 overall pick to draft a right tackle. It's also unlikely that they draft Brick to be their LT and move J.Brown back to right tackle. Don't forget Brown was the #13 overall pick last year, Saints don't need two young players with left tackle contracts and have one of them play RT.
  7. Where do you place that Yahoo Robinson who spreat the rumor of BIlls shopping Losman? Also, Where does Soprano3695 rank?
  8. Don't put words into my mouth again. I never said he threw over 30 yards, I only repied to your claim that the pass was only 7 or 8 yards and said it was much more than that. The pass was indeed much more than 7 yards. Get your fact straight next time.
  9. get your fact straight before you open your month. It's ok to criticize a player, but get the fact straight.
  10. Anyone watched that game knows the pass was much more than 7 yards (in the air). try again
  11. No one said Leinart = Montana, I said Leinart's arm = Montana's arm. Montana's weak arm was also being critized when he came out of college. Montana didn't throw 30 yeads downfield when he was in Notre Dame. If weak arm implies bust, the NFL scouts will know that before you.
  12. Did you mean Leinart has a weak arm like Joe Montana?
  13. One said Bills would definitely draft Ngata. The other said Bills definitely wouldn't draft Ngata. The only possible explanation for both statements is that Bills will boycott the draft. Ralph will use it to keep Bills in Buffalo and to express his feedlings on the new CBA.
  14. Why? Jason Taylor and Zach Thomas are doing pretty well.
  15. Like I said, Saints would end up with two very young tackles earning left tackle money and one of them would have to play right tackle. They have moved J.Brown to left tackle and can draft a very good right tackle in later rounds. You don't draft a right tackle in #2 overall. How about drating D'Brick to be their LT and moving Brown back to RT? This also doesn't make sense, Brown is paid a lot to be a LT, he hasn't shown anything that he can't handle LT. I don't think Saint has given up Brown on LT. I still see Saints draft Mario Williams in #2 or draft A.J. Hawk after trading down few spots. Of course, if they can't find any trade partner, they may draft A.J. Hawk in #2, which is a lttile too high for Hawk though.
  16. BlueFire proposed to Vince Young
  17. Saints can address their backup QB and right tackle issues in later rounds. They don't need to use the #2 overall pick to draft their franchise QB. They already have a franchise QB in Brees. Drafting a second tier QB in later rounds make more sense to them.
  18. HOU - Reggie Bush NO - Mario Williams TEN - Vice Young NYJ - Matt Leinart GB - A.J. Hawk SF - Vernon Davis OAK - Michael Huff BUF - D'Brick Ferguson
  19. I haven't seen a report saying D'Brick is the best left tackle prospect in a few years. Many reports say D'Brick is the best left tackle this year, but he isn't as good as W.Jones, J.Odgen, and other top left tackles when they came out of college. On Jammal Brown, although he didn't play at LT position before, Seaon Payton has said Brown would be moved to left tackle next season. Besides, if Saints draft D'Brick, they'll have two tackles earning big rookie contracts. One of them will play right tackle with left-tackle money. It doesn't make any sense cap-wise.
  20. I think Saints want Mario more than D'Brick. They just drafted Jammal Brown as #13 overall last year. Sean Payton said Brown would be moved to left tackle. You don't normally draft two top tackles at high first round in two consecutive years, you'll end up with a right tackle earning left-tackle money. Even Saints aren't comfortable on Jon Stinchcomb in right tackle, they may address this issue in later rounds instead of #2 overall. On the other hand, although G.Grant and W.Smith are also former first rounders, they didn't play to their potentials. Besides, they were drafted several years before Brown and Saints may have done waiting for one of them, possibly Smith. I can see Saints draft Mario and, if they trade down, it won't be to a team taking Mario.
  21. Will you marry him?
  22. Do you mean the score after he reportedly took the same Wonderlic questions the second time? I still can't understand how he got only 16 if the report was true.
  23. Sounds like Soprano3695
