  1. From this article: The Bills phoned Rosenhaus once the first round wound into the mid-20s, telling him they intended to select Rousseau if he was still available when they picked at No. 30.
  2. I just checked, “right” Josh Rosen had 0 dropped interception last season, I guess Bills made a mistake after all 😎
  3. in 2nd round
  4. Marvin Wilson, FSU
  5. Mel Kiper's highest-graded quarterbacks ever for the NFL draft: John Elway ranks first since 1979, Trevor Lawrence makes the top 10 1. John Elway 2. Andrew Luck 3. Peyton Manning 4. Trevor Lawrence 5. Jim Kelly 6. Andre Ware 7. Drew Bledsoe 8. Ryan Leaf 9. Troy Akiman 10. Josh Allen
  6. Even though his teammates indeed didn't play good enough, you don't throw your teammates under the bus in a media session like this, that's the point. In a private conversion with your people, sure, go ahead to talk about the "truth", but not in a media interview.
  7. Does "right" Josh Rosen get one ring today too? Not sure whether a practice squad player, especially one signs to other teams during the season, would be given a ring. In the meantime, Blaine Gabbert does get his 1st ring today for his 16 pass attempts in the whole season.
  8. So McCown would be Texans’ HC and backup QB? One stone kills two birds? 😀
  9. Not only the Colts games, Beasley actually played quite well in the Ravens games even though he had no catch. Ravens chose to double team him often, for example, this play where he got the attention of two Ravens defenders and freed up Diggs: Beasley was open in quite a few plays but Allen either didn't see him or decided not to throw his way. For example, in the play below, Beasley was wide open and would have an easy touchdown if Allen could make the throw. Consider Allen threw to Diggs in the same direction in the end, it's probably Allen decided not to throw to Beasley due to how the wind affected his long throw during the game. If so, I think it's a good decision to make the safe throw to Diggs. But Beasley did get open in Ravens game when not double teamed.
  10. It's always nice to learn something new about NFL rules. Tucker's first FG hit the left upright, crossed the plane, but returned back through the goalposts, which according to NFL rules is still counted as unsuccessful. The spin on the ball does tricky things. --------------------------------------- Justin Tucker's first missed FG vs. Bills actually went in - before it didn't Using advanced technology to track the football, Lopez found that on Tucker's first miss, the 41-yard double doink, that the ball actually crossed over the bottom goalpost before moving back towards the right upright and eventually hitting it. So, why didn't it count? In order for the try to be successful, the entire football must pass through the vertical plane between the two uprights. If the ball does so, but then returns through the goalposts without hitting another object, person or the ground, the try is unsuccessful, according to the NFL's rulebook.
  11. Right, but Tua was named starter well before Fitz got Covid. The original message you replied is below, naming Tua as starter when both Tua and Fitz were options isn't really giving Miami the best chance to win a game deciding their playoff fate.
  12. Tua was named the starter well before Fitz got covid mid-week then. It's one thing Fitz got covid so Tua had to be named the starter, it's another thing that Tua was named starter when both Fitz and him were options (before Fitz had covid).
  13. what do you mean Norman played majority of the snaps vs Colts? According to Snap count notes: Colts at Bills, Super Wild Card Round, Wallace played 44 snaps while Norman played 34. They had been sharing the snaps in last few games, but one doesn’t play significantly more than the other.
