11/17/24 Game 11 GAMEDAY! Bills vs Chiefs post game Thread

That was fun! Bills!! -
It’s hilarious how false narratives run the masses these days. He runs a subpar 40 and everyone says he slow so he was an awful pick, lol. I wanted him all offseason. He’s an elite WR when the ball is in the air and you can’t teach that. He’s the big physical WR Allen has needed. It was one of those situations where you just had to assume whoever was bad mouthing him was either easily influenced or doesn’t know ball.
-
He’s new to the offense and we were on the road in a very loud stadium. Since he hasn’t had a chance to learn the playbook guys have to tell him pre snap. Hard to do that in Seattle. Especially when Josh is checking into different plays
-
We need Bishop to be a dude to get where we want to go imo.
-
oh boy. Here comes the combine 40. He dominated every DB he lined up against MSU and FSU. This whole he doesn’t get separation is nonsense. Unfortunately this staff doesn’t let the starters gel in preseason so we get to hear this for a few more weeks at least since you know, he’s a rookie. Anyhoo, I’m not going to argue anymore. I’ll just take a victory lap later this year.
-
Correct. He’s playing with a broken hand. Thankfully he didnt get hit tonight and we don’t play again for 10 days
-
This offense might be scary good once Allen and Coleman start viben together and it’s coming.
-
We need Davis to own the 4th qtr. that will never be James strong suit. I loved the Davis pick. He’s a load thats hard to bring down and has really good hands which still allows them to run the entire offense when he’s in the game
-
He’s really good when he’s patient. I thought while he ran really hard last week that he rushed things a bit. I’m a Dawg as well so it’s awesome he landed in Buffalo. Followed his career since he was a Sr in HS.

He looks good. Excited to see his usage increase as the years goes on. -

I don’t disagree it was a terrible contract but he caused that sack regardless -
Week 2, Bills v. Fish - PREDICT THE SCORE!
Fender replied to Freddie's Dead's topic in The Stadium Wall
31-28 Fish I think the offense is going to be really good this year but it’s game 2 on a short week and I don’t think they can carry the D we’ll be running out there Thursday just yet -

He clearly caused that sack and for you to not give credit shows you’re too emotionaly invested -
Week 1 - Cardinals at Bills - Post Game Thread

The good news is the offense should be pretty nuts by mid season. Coleman is really good and exactly the kind of WR JA is gonna vibe with. Was really impressed with the run game today and hope to see similar results against better front 7s. Scoring 34 with Kincaid only having 1 catch for 11 yards is a pretty great sign after all the crap the media talked all offseason. It’s an honor get to watch JA each week. He’s that good. -

I don’t know for sure but I’m guessing Hyde is the only legit option. I worry JA is gonna have to be Superman all season due to the backend of this defense. -

Grateful for the win but today I realized we’re probably gonna need a new HC to get to the mountain top. I’m a homer and slow to come around I guess. -
He’s faster than DS and just all around better TBH. And to go along with a good physical skill set he also runs with excellent patience and vision. He should be a really good fit with Cook. He’s also sneaky good out of the back field as well which I haven’t seen mentioned here. He’s a RB so the 2nd contract is taken off the table. Knowing that why would anyone care he’s 24?

The Coleman hate is ridiculous but folks let their screens think for them so as soon as ESPN/social media decided trading with KC and them getting Worthy was a huge mistake they did too. This was an excellent draft top to bottom. Coleman, Bishop, Davis, and SVP will all play and play a lot over the next few years. I’ve been a Bills fan since 1991 even tho I’ve spent my entire life living in Ga. Love my Bills but can’t stand our message board fans. Every year I come here to check the pulse during/after the draft and every year it’s the same nonsense. In a perfect world we land another WR (Franklin later as he continued to fall would’ve been my pick) but we had A LOT of needs

Rd 5, Pick 167: QB Jake Fromm, Georgia

Well in fairness that pick and the Moss pick were no doubt home runs. Not a whole to say other than “HELL YES!” -

Even early in the year when NE came to town and Barkley had to finish the game the wind effected his passes and it wasn’t even that bad that day. We need QBs with good arms. -

He had FIVE 1,000 yard rushers in his 3 year career. His stats look better than he played. They show him to be an elite college QB which wasn’t the case. He was a solid game manger that got his stud RB/OL into the right play. -
Rd 5, Pick 167: QB Jake Fromm, Georgia

He doesn’t have the arm to throw in that wind and he has really small hands. Asking him to play in those winters won’t work out well. Overall I love our draft. I’ve been a die hard Bills fan since 1990. I just can’t imagine how anyone thought he’d be a good fit. He’s Barkley 2.0. He’ll help Allen tho. He has a ridiculously high football IQ. At the elite 11 he correct his coach on a play the 2nd day of practice. He learned the playbook in one day. He’s not great with post snap reads but he’s really good pre snap. That should help Allen I think. -

As a Georgia alum I can’t stress enough how big of a disaster he’d be as our QB at new era field. But hey, if he gets to make a road start in a dome he could play well enough to win.
