  1. Allen was on a whole other planet towards the end of the year. He hasn’t even hit his ceiling. I honestly think he ends up beating the passing yard seasonal record when his career is all set and done. He’s now just beginning to figure out the game completely and his numbers will reflect that this year. We likely keep Kumerow as the 7th WR as he is good in STs. Hodgins probably goes back to PS.
  2. I think a 5,000 yard season is very doable.
  3. This is where I see our receiving yards distribution this season. Diggs 1,300 Davis 1,000 Knox 700 Crowder 700 McKenzie 700 Austin 600 Cook 400 I think this is where Allen elevates himself and comes close to Peyton’s record.
  4. Both Crowder and Austin will prove to us this year, that they are both good WRs that have had a relatively disappointing career because of bad QB play and or nagging injuries.
  5. I don’t know how anyone could make this statement? Tavon Austin finally has 2 good QBs to work with (Allen and Keenum) and is 100% healthy. Austin has already caught 4 TDs in OTA/mini camp. He’s going to do it in real camp next month. I think Austin has enough talent and speed to become a serviceable WR here given who our QBs are. I absolutely would not be surprised to see a 600 yard season or more here this year. I personally think as a collective (Diggs, Davis, McKenzie, Crowder, and Austin) will be used a lot. We will see flashes of Shakir, but he will be introduced in slowly and I’m not expecting much contribution from him.
  6. This is the only thing that makes me think that Kumerow is WR7. It’s between him and Hodgins imo.
  7. If it was Davis had 4 TDs, the narrative would be he’s going to destroy the league this year and everyone would be clapping for it. I’m just giving credit where credit is due. I mean, why didn’t Shakir have 4 TDs, afterall it’s basically meaningless and everyone should be doing it. Right?
  8. I agree, but I thought it was note worthy. Nobody else was doing that, so it stood out.
  9. It’s the same with people crapping on Hodgins. By all accounts, Austin and Hodgins stock has been up. Austin has raked in 4 TDs already.
  10. I used to think this, until I gave it some further thought. Hodgins has been hurt and hasn’t done much. But why would McB keep him around if they thought he was marginal at best? They must see something in him and are just waiting for him to get healthy. By all accounts he has been flashing in OTAs. Hodgins and Austin’s stock has been up.
  11. I think we go with the same mindset as last year when we kept 7. As much as I like McKenzie, Austin is a better punt returner. I’m the even that we only keep 7, that would likely mean a cut between McKenzie, Crowder,’and Shakir. Because I’m not sure either of those guys can play ST as well as Kumerow, but maybe I’m wrong. Those 3 WRs are just to good to cut. Which is why I think we roll with 7.
  12. This is kind of how I feel. I think Austin will take returns and he makes the team. Right now, I feel it’s between Kumerow and Hodgins for 7WR if they keep 7. It will for sure be Austin, he has great return ability. He still has this speed.
  13. At the moment, I agree. But it’s going to come down to who has the better camp. There is a reason Hodgins has stuck around this long on the team. Obviously they see something in him and are just waiting for him to finally be healthy.
  14. Well meant mini camp. But yeah I know what you mean.
  15. He’s been playing well by all accounts in practice. Does he do ST? Because that’s basically what keeps Kumerow around now as it has been.
  16. Both are very good and I’d be sad to see either cut. Crowder has over performed with subpar QBs. I think we make room for both.
  17. We have turned a 1st round talent around in Hughes. I don’t know why, but I get that total vibe from Austin. I see this as the most underrated signing of the year. Allen will find him. Given the propensity of our team to not cut draft picks. I feel like Kumerow will be the cut. But his ST is a major plus. Hodgins has had a nice camp so far.
  18. I always had high hopes for Austin and his 4.34 speed. For multiple reasons, he hasn’t been able to piece things together. As long as he is healthy, we offer the best growing environment possible. If he fails here, there is nothing left. From all accounts, his shiftiness has been on full display already. Really excited for this team with Cook and Austin. Good luck opposing defenses.
  19. Give me your list predictions. Let’s see what the consensus is. Diggs Davis McKenzie Crowder Austin Shakir Hodgins/Kumerow the 7th WR battle imo.
  20. With how little we tend to cut draft picks. I’m willing to bet Kumerow is on the outside looking in and will be cut if it comes down to him and Hodgins.
  21. You don’t think we keep 7WRs? They all likely make the team. The battle is going to come down to Shakir/Kumerow/Hodgins for 6/7.
  22. I 100% guarantee he will be on the final roster. Sig it. His speed is a needed option and he’s proving great results already. Both McKenzie and Austin will be on the roster. We are likely keeping 7WRs. Diggs Davis Crowder McKenzie Austin Shakir Hodgins/Kumerow
  23. Either way, I’m already excited for Tavon to get a roster spot. Dude is darting all over the field and has raked in 4 TDs already. Allen will find his speed.
