It has nothing to do with who is more valuable. The Chiefs understood that Hunt had physical evidence against him and acted accordingly. The Bills acted on hearsay and public pitchforks. It’s why the Chiefs are more successful because they understand what it takes to win. So the Chiefs are going to make us look like fools now with the signing of Matt.

This is a fair assessment and I’m not even mad about this take. I get it, Matt didn’t go about the moral route. However as a human being that realizes that humans are imperfect and life is complex. I totally understand where Matt was coming from, and I believe the Bills organization overreacted and succumbed to the court of public opinion. Society is supposed to be about innocent until proven guilty in the court of law, and people shouldn’t jump to conclusions or cancel someone’s career until everything has played out.

We’ve been over this a million times. Multiple witnesses have said she lied about her age which isn’t a crime in CA. I’m not saying what he did was right, clearly the whole situation is disappointing. However I’m a grown adult and realize bad things happen, and unless they’ve been tried in court and officially proven, then life goes on. The goal for a football team should be to win and acquire top tier talent within legal windows, and not be a mid talent team of perfect people.

What if you were a punter about to be drafted and you knew what was going on was total BS. Would you have told the Bills? Probably not because you would realize that teams would blow it out of proportion and not draft you, especially in today’s guilty until proven innocent which is BS.

Where did I say they can lie? Unless he was asked point blank do you have any legal issues that we should be aware of, I don’t see the issue. At the time of the draft, Matt had no legally charged issues. Investigations are all hearsay until proven in court, he shouldn’t be liable for such. There is no point in mentioning you are under investigation, because it’s hearsay. Because society is out of control and tries to try you in the court of public opinion. The Bills are a professional organization that has resources beyond anything we will ever have access to. It’s not the players responsibility to mention potentially frivolous lawsuits.
