Which Player Would You Want In A Trade?
Milanos Milano replied to Milanos Milano's topic in The Stadium Wall
As much as I want Hopkins, I think Henry makes us a more dangerous team. Why? Because it immediately keeps teams away from playing 2 high safeties, AND a big AND it allows us to get Cook out in space a lot more because Henry is a very capable blocker and decoy at times and vice versa. More 2 RB sets makes us dangerous as it makes teams play us both ways. Murray/Harris are no Henry. But you are right, our coaches are to dumb to try creativity and varying formations. -

Give me Henry. Put Allen under center and run more 2 RB sets and Kincaid as the TE, 2 WRs. Fake the hand off to Henry and send Cook out into the flat and give him some space to run. So many better plays could be designed with both in the backfield. -

I would fully be happy with either, but the reason why I choose Henry is because I feel like that would put a stop to teams playing 2 high safeties. We still have Cook, so we could play more 2 RB sets with Knox out. -
You can only pick one, who would it be? Go.

Bills now Vegas betting favorites to land Derrick Henry
Milanos Milano replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall
It does if teams offenses can’t get on the field and control the TOP. Cook isn’t physical enough to make teams stop with 2 deep safeties. That immediately changes with Henry in the backfield. Since Knox is hurt and basically not doing much this season anyways, we likely move away from 2 TE sets. Which means we leave Kincaid in as a true route runner in 1 TE sets and have 2RBs in the backfield, Cook and Henry, and send Cook out into the flat or running routes. Teams won’t know if we are passing or running and can’t play 2 deep with Henry on the field. -
Chris Olave arrested for going 35 mph over speed limit
Milanos Milano replied to Big Blitz's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah this worse than doing 100 in a 55 highway. But i still disregard it as small potatoes assuming nobody was hurt or nothing was destroyed. Now if reckless driving yields to harm, then absolutely throw the book. -

Small potatoes. Germans are laughing. -
Because our coaching sucks. Look at Teller now.

The problem is further pointing towards coaching and scheme. Talent evaluation does look ok.

Eagles trade for All Pro S Kevin Byard

He’s supposed to be in the hospital delivering this baby. We’ve been knocked up for years. -
Avocado or Buttered?

Byard is no Byrd, but he is an Eagle which is a bird. -
Which is concerning. He doesn’t put in the extra mile in the off-season like some of the greats either. Sigh.

That’s the best way to narrow down the issues. Bring in either Adams or Evans and if we are still having problems, all our questions will be answered. -
He’s old. It was a known risk for someone of his age and mileage. While yes a lot of us wanted Miller, but in hindsight it was not worth it due to the age risk.

If you are the owner and you decide to get rid of one
Milanos Milano replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think we should consult our 2 best players on offense for their opinions first. If they are frustrated with the lack of talent support, then I’m going after Beane first. -

If I’m the owner, I’m sitting down with a private meeting with Allen and Diggs. Telling them quite frankly that this season given the investments made is unacceptable. Their comments are completely off the record and will not get back to the coaches. I want them to give me an honest assessment of what they believe is the problem in why we are struggling and not getting to the Super Bowl. I ask them, of the 4( Beane, McD, Dorsey, players), who is the main concern. If they tell me other players are not pulling their weight and aren’t reliable to win games, then I’m going to Beane and firing him. If they tell me the team has enough talent to win and game planning is lacking, then I’m either firing McD or Dorsey. If that is the case I’m going to both of them and telling McD if we fail to make a Super Bowl appearance this year, he has to fire Dorsey, and that I’m giving you one more year to bring Buffalo a Super Bowl or you’re fired to. Figure it out, fire is officially lit. -
It has nothing to do with anything. Jet lag is for 50+ year olds who get cranky if their nap cycle is disturbed. We are talking about athletes in their prime and 1st class flying where you can lay down and sleep.

We have to write off the defense at this point. But only someone to replace Davis will help Allen.
