  1. They do like Franklin - met with him more than anyone and he has the fewest q’s of any of the remaining wr’s. Walker is an analytics disaster - know way in the world they draft him. I see another small trade then Buffalo taking Mitchell, Ladd or Franklin. Coleman is the “Benjamin” type of wr they have been avoiding. No separation guy
  2. There are none / two issues with BT2: shoulder injury and ran 3 routes in college
  3. How is his separation and contested catch percentage? You don’t take a center in rd 1
  4. Crazy unless you have a plan on trading 60 + a 2nd next year to 35-40 to grab what’s left at wr
  5. BT2 might slide due to shoulder. After the jets take Bowers, there could be a run on defense
  6. I think it’s too early for him but don’t be surprised if it’s Franklin at 28. They spent more time with him than any other prospect. Would like to see a trade down and pick up a 3rd and pick Franklin in rd 2
  7. It takes two to trade and nobody is trading
  8. Chi pick in they better take Odunze so the jets don’t get him. Jets will take bowers which is scary enough
  9. My gut says a surprise with our 1st pick: Troy Franklin I’ll trust their judgement on WR1 but I really want baker as our 2nd wr picked - not sure he lasts until 128 though ideally trade 28 for an early 2nd a a coveted 3rd that Beane wants. Franklin in the early 2nd, Baker in the 3rd. BPA at 60, 128, 133 etc.
  10. Start with 10, trade 4, get 1 = 7, the average for a team.
  11. He like Beasley with more speed Reception perception I believe.
  12. Carolina is rumored to be taking Legette at 33 if he’s available. So can’t move back too far if you want him
  13. I'm not sure he's the best route runner of all WR's but analytics does say he creates better separation than any other wr. Supposedly Buffalo has on last meeiting with Legette, last night, so he may be their target at 28, if the don't move up. I think it's him or Worthy
  14. Eye test (you) vs analytics - what all the analysts are saying……
  15. Mitchell’s yac was horrendous and he’s kind of clumsy looking in his route running and catching. He could be great but he could also be the bust of the group. I stay away Yep - we pass on him, kc takes him and he averages 110 catches the next 10 years
  16. Legette will go to CAR at 33. He’s a nice story but we’re not drafting him at 28. I see: trade up to around 12 for Odunze, or stay at 28, or small trade up, for McConkey, Worthy or Mitchell. Not sure whom Beane like best, but my guess is Worthy
  17. I think you could be correct on all accounts. Miami loves speed, and if Worthy is your guy, you move ahead of worthy. Worthy is too skinny, but otherwise isn’t a one-trick pony - he has solid college production and tracks the long ball very well. His senior year was a bit of a letdown though
  18. It’s crazy but we could be drafting Thursday anytime from 8:40 to not at all
  19. The more I’ve studied it the more I think we’re talking worthy at #28 or maybe even with a small trade up and Baker at #60
  20. I would think we’d only be trading up for a wr. Nabers is my unrealistic dream, but we prob would have to trade up too far for him. Odunze is prob the big trade up possibility and don’t be surprised if the smaller trade up would not be for Thomas jr, but would be for worthy.
  21. If Thomas Jr is your #5, who's your #4. I think Nabers is #1 over Harrison
  22. Ladd played 70% of last season as a boundary receiver. His weakness is against press coverage so he’d be a better Z receiver than an X one. Would ideally have him in motion a lot. I think he’s at least the 5th best receiver in the draft and maybe the 4th. Don’t let his college production scare you off - they had a subpar qb, that great TE and ran the ball all the time. He’s the perfect replacement for Diggs. Kinkaid, Shakir and Dalton would feed off each other and would be uncoverable. ideally you’d couple drafting him by drafting Baker or, a little later Cornelius Johnson who both could possible X receivers. Who knows, maybe Beane has a trade in place to grab a current NFL X receiver too, post 6.1??
  23. I think Franklin has lost some steam with his poor combine (even if he was sick) and his light frame. I think there’s a better chance of him being available at #60 (albeit only a slight chance) than the Bills picking him at 28 (no chance)
  24. I think the chance Odunze makes it #12 are <25%; if he does, Beane should be all over trading up for Denver's pick. Unlike one poster said, "Odunze is very good at everything but not elite at anything," I 100% disagree; he's elite or near elite in every category.
