  1. Sal of WGR basically reported don’t be surprised if the Bills are after Donte Jackson, CB CAR - speed guy 4.2, really good in zone, has had injuries, played at LSU with Tre intriguing….
  2. I would love to see your posts if you were a fan of another team (who has serious holes. come’on - we’re-7 hours into free agency and Beane brought back our slot receiver, got a top 3 receiver out of the backfield (and maybe the top pass protection back) and solidified our interior D. DB pick 25 and Cheap UFA vet WR pick 57 and cheap UFA vet Edge - UFA feeling chandler Jones LB - ??? Draft, Hardly a hole - you’re worried about Replacing Klein…..really? TE draft and/or UFA - every day Gronk doesn’t sign with TB makes our case stronger QB - really? If Josh gets hurt for a significant time we’re f*cked no matter who we sign. Come on home Fitzy and a late project QB in the draft
  3. I wasn’t a fan of his (look at the games at the end of the season - teams were targeting him and not Dane) BUT for an UFA he’s been a huge overachiever. $4m per is really low if true. pick 25 CB pick 57 WR
  4. My guess for next signing- Johnny Hekker
  5. It’s pretty easy to make cap space for a Chandler like signing by extending Diggs and/or restructuring white/Dawkins, etc. as for the need for a cb and speed wr, you draft those two in rounds 1 and 2. It’s not like it’s a sure thing but Tre White was pick 28 overall
  6. Being in the mix for ogbah (or whatever his name is) means we’re big game hunting at DE. Chandler Jones or Clowney…come on down at some point we’ll need to sign a 2nd QB - hate the idea of Cam, love the idea of Fitz Gronk hasn’t resigned with TB and Sal says Gronks friends are always trying to get him to sign with Buffalo. Imagine if he signed with buffalo and won a SB. He’d be more of a TE God than he already is. Not likely but the longer he stays unsigned the better Biffalo’s chances. Still TB>retirement >Buffalo
  7. You can go over the cap with signings as long as your cap compliant at the beginning of the nfl year
  8. And in the MIA game he also returned a punt from our current punter for a TD
  9. I agree 100%. I think dirty’s cap hit will be around $2.5m. I think Engram goes for 5-6m per
  10. Apparently he missed the fact that Knox tied for the lead in TE TDs too
  11. Love Ruckert and his bills mafia thing but look at his stats and he runs a 4.7 forty not a 4.42 like Engram. Granted, Engram has had serious drop issues and has not played up to his abilities but Engram was also playing with crap Qbs not josh Allen. Diggs, Gabe, knox, Engram and McKenzie (or a stud wr drafted at 25) would be really hard to stop
  12. Old fake news from yesterday- look at the tv station closely
  13. McKenzie only played about 20-30% of the offensive plays (that’ll go way up this year) and you’re ignoring his end arounds. Engram had Jake Fromm passing to him on the times and really low end qbs otherwise. Also I don’t think he gets anywhere near $9m a year
  14. Maybe on the cheap but I think Engram is more likely
  15. His role as an end around runner is elite. If he can learn to protect the ball better he’s also an above average returner. As a slot WR vs man to man he’s way above average. Vs zone is where he needs to improve. His % of play on offense should go way up from the 20 or 30% he got last year. sign Harry, gronk and a ++ DE (after some more cuts, restructures and extensions) and we’ll be good to go to the draft
  16. Depends on the cap hit per year on the contract but I doubt Beane would put us over the cap
  17. More ammunition to Egram or Gronk to Buffalo I suppose
  18. My guess is contract is structured something like this: 2022 1m salary, 3m signing bonus 2023 4m salary so cap hit in 2022 is 2.5m i wouldn’t think ir would be $4m each year
  19. Point well taken
  20. No need for magical accounting - cox’s cap hit would be <$5m to acquiring team. One of the reasons the price to acquire will be a ton For whatever reason, Edmunds is viewed a lot better around the league than he is on this board. Scouts/gms vs Monday morning qbs - I’ll side with the former
  21. Cox would pricey as his salary AP hit to the acquiring team is low from what I can tell. 2022 salary of 1.12m, roster bonus of $1m and an option of $2.9m whatever that means. I don’t think the acquiring team would be responsible for restructured done in the past the contract. So $5m for 2022 and even less in 2024 is dirt cheap snd is going to be costly. Thinking pick 25 plus
  22. If we traded for him I think his cap hit would be 8.6m - 8.4 salary and 200k workout bonus. So….if they have any interest in picks and Cole in the trade he’d only be 2m add’l to cap. I’m torn though because (a) Singletary was great at the end of last what and (b) CMC running would mean less josh throwing. Though cmc catching out of the backfield for us would be unbelievable. CMC, diggs, Gabriel, knox, Gronk (if we sign him) and a wr at 25 or 57; how does a team cover all these guys? Mack was great until the last 2 years. That would have been a lot of risk for a guy who couldn’t stay on the field the last 2 years. That’s why the draft picks traded were underwelming
  23. That’s pretty pathetic unless they trade the pick
  24. Why the angst? I’d be thrilled with any of these: the aforementioned Chandler J, Justin Houston, Calais Campbell (though I know he’s more a DT), Melvin Ingram, Gregory, Hicks, Ogbah, Reddick, clowney, von miller That’s 10, some a lot better than others but all better than what we have
  25. There are at least 5 other elite to close to elite DEs available - clowney, etc. id love chandler J BUT he is 32 and if you take away his first game last year (5 sacks), he had 1.5 sacks less than Addison. Speaking of Addison, I’d love to get him or Hughes back on a reasonable deal. Addison is severely underrated around here. He also said something a couple of weeks ago indicating he’d be back. Somththing like Buffalo isn’t letting me leave
