  1. With ACL surgery, football players often injure complimentary when they come back - the other ACL, achilles, hamstring. They seem to be extremely cautious here, making sure we have him for late in the season. With Josh, the same doesn't seem to apply. Meaning, one would assume, there's no risk to further injure the elbow by playing.
  2. you can go ahead and rule it out.
  3. no
  4. no - what doesn't make sense - not elevating Barkley and having Josh back up. If he wasn't ready to start they would have elevated Barkley and let him back up. Common sense - hes fine and is starting
  5. why would we elevate him if he wasn't going to play at least a bit?
  6. This is just plain stupid
  7. This may be the most idiotic thing I’ve ever read
  8. it was josh vs the doctors not josh ba mcdermott
  9. I thought it was 50/50 he’d play but all the signs said it wasn’t serious; 1. 69.6 yd pass 2 plays later, longest thrown in nfl since 2016 2. Digg’s “rejoice” tweet 3. limited practice Friday 4. Forecast went from heavy rain to “it may not rain.” the way he was shaking it seemed like it numbed out on him (nerve) - once that settled down snd he could grip the ball better he was declared ready to go if the o-line doesn’t keep the pocket clean this week - shame on them
  10. It doesn’t bode well for Elam more than boding poorly for Tre. Plus are other rookie cb has a bad hand
  11. Rhodes and/ or a DT would likely be elevated so with nobody announced as of yet we’re definitely not out of the woods
  12. I imagine they just have to inform the league by 4pm and it could take a while to be made public??
  13. Nobody knows if it’s a pain management thing or if he can injure it more by playing, except the team and doctors and they haven’t discussed it. if we would have won any these “meaningless” regular season games last year we would have been the #1 seed. Things might have turned out slightly different ….
  14. No such thing as a meaningless regular season game.
  15. Sounds like BS to me too - nothing had come out saying this
  16. Jets would have to win too for us to be 3rd, plus MIA and NYJ having to play in Buffalo in December = I like our chances
  17. Makes no sense at all that he practiced, even in a limited basis, today and will miss multiple games. Comes sense says worst case senario is he misses this week and is back for Cleveland. I’m going against what everyone is predicting and am thinking he plays Sunday
  18. I would say Barkley being elevated doesn’t necessarily mean josh doesn’t play. He can be elevated and not put on the active roster
  19. QBs always practice in red jerseys every practice, to make sure nobody hits them
  20. Common sense say Josh isn't missing 3 weeks if he's practicing even in a limited basis today You may want to check Elam's designation this week
  21. Minute to minute.....second to second wonder if the bad weather comes into play?
  22. I saw the replay of it and it was a really bad call. The DE went inside of Dawkins who pushed him further inside, pancaked him and fell on him. He didn't appear to use his hands at all but perhaps he blocked him too well. Compared to some of the holding I witnessed elsewhere - like to holding on Phillips on one of the Jets long runs, it was a ridiculously terrible call. Diggs apparently didn't get both feet in but i'd prefer 2nd and 10 to 1st and 20.
  23. Josh has bad pocket awareness? Is this a bad fkn joke? He probably has better pocket awareness than any other qb in the league, maybe Mahomes is close. Can't do much when your RT whiffs on a block and you get blindsided when attempting to throw down the field. Any other poor critiques?
  24. Rams are 3-6, he's not going there. kc traded for the Giants receiver, he's not going there.
