he's been a bit quiet but saved the game with the sack last week. Fail is a bit harsh

and the 6061 total yards would set an NFL record by 400 or 500 yards (Drew Brees). Once he stops throwing INT's (and he will), all will be better than fine
-
Way Better projected actually: 5,162 yards 38 touchdowns 19 INTs 899 rushing yards 8 touchdowns 9 fumbles 6,061 total yards 46 total TDs
-
Von has 8 sacks, not the same as Hughes, but who cares about being accurate when starting a ridiculously stupid thread
-
incorrect incorrect

Easy to say run, looking back. Note than on 2nd and 1, a play earlier, singletary was stuffed for no gain, so that may have dissuaded the run option

A Few Thoughts about the Vikings game, in no particular order

Yeah an uncharacteristic drop for Diggs on the 3rd and 15 with 4 minutes left which may have allowed us to run the clock out. a lot of reasons why we lost -

If you look at that picture above, it looks like Gabe was cutting it across to the endzone. When Josh threw it, Davis for some reason cut back into the endzone allowing Peterson to undercut the route. Unfortunately we'll never know if it was a bad throw, or a bad pattern; maybe both. Morris looks kind of open at the 5 C Could have dumped it off to Singletary but, with 2 guys at the 10, he probably only makes it to the 13-14 yard line. Maybe could have tried to loft it to Diggs in the back left of the endzone, but at the time of the thrown he was covered well Best thing to do was probably run it, and hopefully beat the LB in the middle to the outside. of couse, this all has to be deided upon in a split second. Josh tried to laser it into Gabe, gabe turned upfield for some reason and easy pick for Peterson yep - a contested catch would have been nice and certainly could have happened. Pretty obvious PI on that play too Incorrect -

1. It's been speculated that Davis ran the wrong route on the last INT. From similar plays we've seen in the past, Diggs and McKenzie run go patterns to the back of the end zone with Gabe cutting his pattern short across the goal line. we'll never know as Josh won't sell out his WRs and the coaching staff won't say anything. -
Nyheim Hines: Why did we bother trading for him?
Turbo44 replied to EasternOHBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall
To be accurate, he did have one catch for 9 yards (spin move that turned a 4 yard gain into 9) and he looks very reliable returning punts with an explosiveness we haven't seen in a while. I agree that I'm dumbfounded why we're not passing to him more or have him on the field more often on 3rd down?? -
It's been speculated that Davis was supposed to cut across the goal line (to where the ball was thrown) instead of fading into the endzone. In saying that, 20/20 hindsight says he should have checked down. Although none of us were complaining about him throwing into the endzone to Gabe from 20+ yards out last year vs KC. Terrible way to end the game, but, just one of about 10 things we fcked up during the game that caused us to lose
-
here are some more facts: He's on pace for 5300 yards passing (3rd in league), 37 TD passes (2nd in league), 899 yards rushing (24th in league and this includes RBs) and 7.5 rushing TDs - yeah he's horrible. If you don't do the math thing, that's 6,200 total yards (which would shatter the NFL record held by Drew Brees by 600+ yards) and 45 total td's. He'll cleanup the INTs, all qb's have tough times - look at some of Mahomes games.

not really - Zach honestly can't outplay anybody. I'd say the NYJ defense outplayed the Bills D and we were severely outcoached. -

singletary was a horrible receiver before this year, ranked around last for RB's, but you're right, he's been vastly improved this year when given the chance. He deserves credit. Why they didn't use him today is mind-boggling -

Cook not being a starter on his college team may have been a red flag?? In saying that, he hasn't been giving a chance here. Hines to follow in his footsteps -

2nd and 2 from the 4 and we throw 3 straight passes = inexcusable. They tried something "cute" with a middle screen to knox on 2nd down and stupid plays 3rd and 4th. Run the fkn ball 3 straight times with Josh, or Duke, you will get 2 yards....promise. Dorsey outhinking himself. Daboll would do the same to be honest. -

Don't you remember Josh's 2021 games vs Jets (2nd one), Atlanta, NE (1st one), Indy and Jax? Short memory, every season has it's peaks and valleys. Step off the ledge He's on pace for 5300 yards passing (3rd in league), 37 TD passes (2nd in league), 899 yards rushing (24th in league and this includes RBs) and 7.5 rushing TDs - yeah he's horrible. I hear the 2023 QB draft class is epic. start scouting it for us -

nah - we were all thrilled when the Sabres were 6-3. The Bills are 6-3 and half of the board says we're not even making the playoffs -

Do you even watch the games or just come on here afterwards to complain?. Miller had his normal 2 high impact plays today, per usual, including a crucial sack. Last week he had a strip sack/recovered fumble that could have turned the game around. 8 sacks in 9 games (which equates to over 15 sacks in a 17 game season). Not sure what more you want from him. Please do elaborate...... -

well he is a practice squad CB playing safety. If we love marlowe so much, why's he not playing?? -

I thought he looked great the last 2 drives. Moved the team 65 yards in a minute for the tying field goal (and could have had a winning drive if there were a couple of more seconds left after the PI call) and looked in control on the last drive until the ill-advised pass. Bad decisions, bad execution but not sugar high Josh -

Game altering plays today that if go the other way we win: 1. Fumble by singletary when we're driving to basically put the game away 2. How do you give up an 81 yard run when up 17? By letting up and a big wiff of a tackle by #46 3. On 2nd and 2 from the 4, run the fkn ball (by Josh if you wish), 3 straight times if needed. It would work. Dorsey short yardage brain fart per usual 4. One handed catch on 4th and 18 - knock the fckn ball down Lewis. Football 101 stuff 4. PI call against #46 on 2nd and 22 - inexcusable 5. Simple center QB exchange fumbled. Really, how does that possibly happen?? 6. Late in regulation a PI is called at the 10. 2 more seconds on the clock, we could have run another play before the FG. 5 seconds left and we can't. 7. Knox almost caught the ball in the endzone in OT. Pretty blatant PI, no call. 8. On game ending INT, check down to Singletary instead. He would have caught it on around the 15 with defenders at the 10 and 5. Probably doesn't result in a TD (Singletary doesn't do that) but does probably get a 1st down, or at worst, 3rd and very short. There's probably more stuff I'm missing....frustrating.....on to Cleveland -

taking a safety is absolutely 100% the wrong thing to do. up by 6 it's a discussion. Those who think we should have taken a safety simply don't understand football. Don't fumble to ball, fall forward, game over. Josh fumbled, Morse got blown up and Diggs pushed Josh forward away from the ball.
