  1. Has he had drop problems in college though? If he has, that would be a big red flag with how hard Josh throws
  2. So if we’re around $6m under the cap now. This + the $10m from Trey on 6.1 could prob pay for the safety who’s visiting, Clowney and our draft picks. #28 wr, 2nd or 4th on a center and the rest for depth and we’re golden
  3. He was sick (as in unhealthy) at the combine which led to his bad performance. At his pro day he was back up 8 pounds, to 186. He has height and speed and if the bills think he’s worth #28 I’m in.
  4. Me also, trading up from the 60s should get you one of McConkey, leggette or that guy who ran a 4.21.
  5. Yep - this appears to be a no brainer signing if not cost prohibitive. His analytics for coverage skills and tackling are elite. If he’s $5m year you could structure it so it’s 2024 cap friendly: 5 years $20m, $10m singing bonus with salaries of $1.5m for each of the first 3 years and $5.5m in year 4. This way the cap hit would be $4m for first 3 years and $8m in year 4 (dead cap of $2.5m if you cut him before year 4). No brainer
  6. I think all the trades looks reasonable but I don’t like the strategy. Buffalo needs quality not quantity, so I see them trading up at least once, maybe twice in rd’s 1-4 and end up drafting 7-8 players. No need to use 11 of picks cuz only roster space probably for 5-6 draftees. I’d be interested in your draft trading up two to three times, as that’s what beane has historically done
  7. Thomas wr 22 (Trade up) sweat DL 52 (trade up) Beaux limmer OC 123 trade up Oladapo S 169 trade up eichenburg LB 204 gabriel Murphy edge 248 Reasonable trades and 11 picks turned into 6, but there’s no way we have room in our roster for 11 picks. In this draft we get our top wr, a top dl, one of the best centers, a very good safety and a good LB. Full disclosure, I have no idea about Murphy
  8. $$ needed for draft picks typically is $3-$4 million. Remember top 52, or so, only count towards the cap
  9. Please do elaborate
  10. i'm a big proponent of McConkey but don;t think they're taking him. Wasn't someoen they et with at the combine, though they did meet with him at the sniron bowl, Let's see if they bring him in for a 30 visit
  11. then do some more research
  12. McConkey
  13. Cuz all Dlman are rotational players and are elite. There are 15+ safeties still without deals that were starters last year. If Arik was signed you'd go WR 28 and safety at 60 who would likely start. If your patient, you'll probably as get a good safety at a bargain price. I wouldn't have signed Rapp so early
  14. According to Beane and McD, milano broke his leg but had not ligament damage
  15. Duffs at 9:30am interesting. Rather see that $ spent on a wr (Mike Williams anyone?) with a dl drafted at 60 or in the 4th to complement Oliver and Daquan
  16. Douglas and #47, no?
  17. I predict a taron extension freeing up cap
  18. Gabe replacement comes at #28 or earlier with a trade up
  19. Looks to me like kj’s stats last year were worse than 2021 and 2022 Bit on a 1st rd wr and that changes quickly
  20. We cut him so glad for him that he found a place to play
  21. All true - there are a lot of UFA safeties - I’m sure Beane will sign one but isn’t paying a lot. Otherwise he would have kept poyer at $6m
  22. Good safeties can be found late in the draft. Hyde and poyer, for instance, were both late rd picks I believe
  23. I’m saying wr at #17, specifically Thomas if he’s still available. If he’s gone you stay at 28 and take your fav of worthy, Legette, Ladd, or Adonai. My preference is Ladd but I don’t think that’s buffalo preference. Adonai has buffalo written all over them
