  1. And DL is so deep we may be able to stay at 56 and grab a DL. My dream senario: trade #30 and 6th rounder for low 40 pick (maybe a team trying to get a qb) and a 3rd 40: revel or amos 56: grant (as I’ve seen him fall in some mocks) 62: thst DE we had in for a visit to and have talked to a lot 3rd: outside speed Wr (Williams / Thornton jr type) 4th/5th/5th/ 6th/6th/7th - BPA: lottery tickets Tyleik is a beast - maybe the best run stuffer in the draft. I would have no issue drafting him at #30 especially if a Morrison type drops to 56
  2. I think if they go cb with the 1st pick it’ll involve a trade out of the 1st and draft Amos, revel, Hairston or Morrison. Maybe get a 3rd Ana send back a 6th. If they go DT they may stay at 30 or trade up??
  3. From their scheduled visits and needs I’d guess; 30 revel 56 best DT (they’ll get a good one here as it’s Very deep draft 62 bond / if his off the field stuff checks out
  4. Considering we all know Beane isn’t making 10 pick I made some realistic trades and came up with this: 30. Revel - a top 15 pick before his acl and the doctors gave it their okay in his visit to OP 40. Kenneth grant was sliding and I traded both of our 2nds to move up to 40 to grab our 2nd day 1 starter in grant 109 Baron / edge - goo value here 137 traded up to get Ricky white - a speedster and and a nice lottery ticket here 173 Jamaree Caldwell DT - nice value here and probably better than the Duke guy we drafted last year 206 raheim Sanders - top prospect before injury. Another nice lottery ticket in could see all 7 guys making the roster
  5. These online simulations aren’t very realistic but something like this, which I just did would be nice: 30. Revel 62. Hairston (available here but if not porter) 65. Alfred Collin’s With a trade down with nyg getting 65 and 99 and giving up our first 2nd and a 5th 99 Thornton jr
  6. Agree - but I could also live with the wv cb in rd 1 (if his knee checks out) and a west type DT in rd 2. Dt is so deep west may end up as good if not better than grant. I’m also torn between Kevin Williams and Thornton jr
  7. Next, I expect cook 4 years 52 million or our center for 4 years, no clue on the $$
  8. I think his outside ability is iffy so a strong pass at #30
  9. Play hardy over douglass? Interesting as we have never actually seen hardy play a meaningful game. I would take Douglass back in a second
  10. I would include tai Felton in thi conversation too, if we took a wr early
  11. Only 26 catches last year?? Was he hurt or did TEN have a bad qb? Otherwise how does a 6’5” guy with 4.3 speed only have 26 catches?
  12. Comp picks are based on the $ amount of the UFA contract signed, not the round the player was originally drafted in
  13. If you could find another mid/late round CB like #47 then you can absolutely target DL at 30. But typically the drop off from rd 1 to 2 is steeper at cb than DL. Certainly this year where DL is especially strong. I would love to see Beane sign a Douglass type and Calais type so we get take BPA at 30 (like golden (wr). Not sure he had the cap space to do that but could certainly open up some more cap space. Sign Douglass, Campbell and Diggs for a combined 15m (pretty sure that’s about what it would take) then draft best players
  14. How about CB? Feel CB has to be one of our top 3 picks. At this point we may have the weakest secondary in the league. Our top player had 2 bad concussions in 7 days and Dane Jackson is currently or #2 cb i go: 1. Maxwell or other cb that drops to 30 2. De/dt 2. de/dt 4. Wr
  15. I agree kinkade was disappointing last year and his drop vs KC was unacceptable. I’ll also comment that he played on two bad knees and we have worse issues than him. Safety, dline and certainly CB are more pressing concerns
  16. Maybe Knox and a 5th for a 3rd. Give Kinkaid a little rope - he had the best season ever for a Bills TEnas a rookie and played on 2 and knees last year. Kinkaid should have made the catch on 4th down, so I’m not letting him off of that
  17. Wrong-He made $2m last year and is a year older.
  18. He’s big like Beane likes them. I’m sure veteran minimum contract to compete for backup job with Dane Jackson. Probably a decent depth piece but nothing that moves the needle
  19. I disagree. I think Edmund’s has a high floor and low ceiling due to his measurables and low football IQ
  20. I think we draft a sub 4.4 guy anywhere from rd 2 to rd 5 and he’s our last wr. I’d like to see Beane : draft one of those 4.3 cb’s (prob is we’d be over drafting the at 30 and they may not last to rd 2 Draft a 330 1 technique in rd 1 or 2 draft a de or sub 4.4 wr with the other 2nd rounder I suppose it all depends on how the draft falls
  21. Just saw this after I started a Calais thread. Maybe I didn’t need to start it in its own thread but I think it’s kind of a no-brainer. He also wished Miami goodbye so he’s playing elsewhere. great minds think alike / lol
  22. I know he’s 39 but he’s still playing at a ridiculously high level. He’s a pain in the A when we play Mia. Maybe I’m crazy but I think he’s better for one year then our two PED boys + high character too
