  1. Not going to lie, I don't understand why a person would want to throw away being so close to a SB, to go somewhere that is seems a lot farther away. I don't care about power, so I may not be thinking about it correctly, but I just don't think I would take a HC job right now if I was in Daboll's spot. I would be perfectly fine being an OC on my hometown team that looks to be in great shape. The allure of just being called a HC for a couple years before being fired would do nothing for me. How much money does one really need in comparison to loving your current situation?
  2. Before the year started every reasonable person knew this was the year, but Beane did barely anything to improve this team. KC went out and rebuilt their entire oline with less money going into the offseason than what we had. They then traded for Ingram at the deadline. This season was not just on the coaches, Beane let everyone down by not going for it. He still defends taking a DE in 2nd that was inactive for half the year. Look at who KC drafted in 2nd.
  3. Flores to New Orleans Daboll to Miami Frazier to Giant One can wish
  4. Draft two of the slowest DEs Brought in Sanders, who is considered slow by WR standards. No one else really made a difference on this team this year to consider them additions.
  5. Josh hasnt been around long enough to know what makes a good OC. His opinion is nothing to me. He isn't the guy that will be on the hook for the success of the OC. If he regresses, it will be blamed on the OC, and then the HC who hired him. Josh has a friendship with Dorsey, that shouldnt be a factor in deciding who is best to literally manage the entire offense.
  6. Both guys will have options. It's not always about who the team wants, the coach needs to want to go there too.
  7. Can't wait for him to tell us they need to get faster, and then draft and bring in slow players. Heard the same speed comment last year.
  8. I feel like this is an indictment of how marketable the Giants job is. The roster is terrible, and is the cap space. Going there for a coach could be the last time you get a HC job. Why would a younger guy do that?
  9. Frazier aint going anywhere. Doug Pederson for OC. Him and Mcdermott crossed paths in Philly. You have to be off your rocker to let Dorsey run this offense.
  10. All Obada had to do was put Kelce on his butt right at the line. Such bad coaching.
  11. In the superbowl year, Matt Ryan put up 4944 yards, 70% completion, 38 TDs, and 7 ints. Let's stop acting like Allen now is way better than Ryan in his prime.
  12. Couldnt listen to the press conference, but I'm sure it was another one of McDermott's patented deflect with his same statements he uses over and over again.
  13. Appreciate you understanding what I'm saying. Can't wait to read the boards when the offense takes a step back next year.
  14. Spare me on the pitty party from a team on their 4th afc championship game.
  15. People in this thread are really underestimating what an OC can do for an offense. Just because you have a good QB doesn’t mean your offense will automatically just roll. Look at Ryan with and without Shanny. Look at how many coordinators Big Ben went through. Look at Rodgers and the issues he had with coaches. When u find an offense that works, that should trump a defensive coach.
  16. Atlanta made it to the 2016 Super Bowl and lost in heart breaking fashion. I remember at that time Dan Quinn was getting a lot of heat, and the big situation looming over the organization, was Kyle Shanahan becoming a HC at the end of the year. At the time, there were some out there saying in today's NFL, you have to keep the offensive coach and fire Quinn. Atlanta obviously didn't and ended up firing Quinn a few seasons later, while Shanahan is viewed as a top coach in the league. I'm scared of losing Daboll to keep McDermott, and what it could mean to this team. After seeing how this team played in the playoffs, I'm pretty certain McDermott was altering playcalling mid-year with the power run nonsense they were trying to run and what McDermott was saying in press conferences.
  17. Rick Dennison after one year is vastly different than Frazier who has been a friend of McDermott for years.
  18. It's sad that the only way we will get change on Defense is for Frazier to get hired. McDermott isn't man enough to admit that a change is needed there.
  19. You don't know the Pegula's then. When they are not happy, they act.
  20. Seriously, how many years will we put up with Mcdermott. He ain't it, it's that simple. What were we like 0-5 heading into yesterday in close games, and surprise, you lost again in a close game. The guy is clueless about in-game coaching. We have a top QB in the league, we can have our pick of pretty much any available coach. Sean Payton would LOVE to work with Allen. Go get a guy who has won a super bowl.
  21. When Cuse came to ACC, I knew they would have trouble keeping up with recruiting. You can't just rely on so many "local" kids in this area. The talent difference between the basketball in NY and other parts of the country is huge. Look at this Cuse team: Boeheim bros, Girard, Torrence all local
  22. How can someone be a consistently good player if he isn't getting consistent snaps?
  23. Not true because he wasn't claimed on waivers. If he was claimed, he couldnt play Think of Freeman last year
  24. This coaching staffs obsession of playing Beasley over Mckenzie will be the determent of this season. I have no idea why Beasley comes back, and McKenzie goes back to get few opportunities. Not sure what more McKenzie could have shown in NE. This team lacks what he gives on a consistent basis.
