  1. To be clear and re-iterate, the point is to say that today’s performance was not great against a mediocre team. I think we need a healthy Shakir, Coleman, and a burner to keep the defense honesty.
  2. Agreed. This wasn't to me so much about the Colts as much as how Josh looked out there having to press the ball to certain receivers.
  3. I really wish this game was after the bye. I don't think McD will rush people back just for this game, but it would be nice to give our injured guys next week off and then have the bye week to really get everyone healthy. Granted, even with a win I don't see us taking the 1 seed by the time the season is over, but that 2 seed would be really nice. Just have to hope the AFC North beats the crap out of each other
  4. In watching the Colts game where we really only had Samuel and Shakir as solid WR options (no shade thrown at Hollins, but he is more of a blocker and situational catcher for us), Josh looked more like early 2023 Josh in this game. You could see that they were trying to get Samuel involved early and it looked like he was trying to force some throws. Both of his interceptions, first real ones all season, came when Josh seemed to be pressing a bit. Granted, one was an under-thrown ball and the other Josh didn't seem to even see the defender. Regardless, Josh seemed like he wasn't able to read the entire field and was limited in who he was willing to throw to. The result, in my humble opinion, was a less free throwing Josh who could get through a variety of reads. There's been a lot of talk that part of Josh's interception struggles last year was due to trying to keep Diggs, and sometimes Davis, involved in the gameplan. This season, Josh hasn't really needed to care about any of that and has been much better protecting the ball and "everyone eats." To me, this game was similar to that, but more-so for lack of options. With all that being said, I think this shows that maybe we shouldn't be the team who pays a #1, but has 3-4 guys out there that Josh can trust to get open and make catches. Cooper, if he is ever healthy again, is that deep threat who teams at least have to respect, but I would argue we don't need a 20 mil per year receiver for that. In fact, I would argue that if we can draft a burner next season, have him opposite of Coleman, with Shakir in the slot, this offense will be great and cheap. Yes, this still assumes the compliment of the running game alongside Kincaid. Just thoughts...
  5. Sounds like a home game on that pick six
  6. You must be great at parties
  7. Whatever scenario results in the Ravens and Chiefs meeting in the playoffs and we only have to play one of them
  8. Both were positions of need and signed prior to the draft. You never know how the draft is going to work out and Hamlin had not won the job yet. At the time of signing both, each were expected to be starters.
  9. No one needed that more than Bass
  10. Never doubted him for a moment
  11. These are the games that infuriate me. Refs making a bs impact. Millionaire players just not mentally ready for the game. No excuses for either
  12. Looks like Josh will have the underneath stuff all game. Dolphins have 7 in coverage and none of them within 5 yards of the LOS
  13. Benford and Cooper? I have a bad feeling about this game. Benford was amazing in the first matchup
  14. I have a bad feeling about this game, as everyone seems to be overlooking it, including the media. The Bills are 0-3 in their last games played on Daylight Savings time and Tua is 4-0-01 when the spread against him is 6 or more points. Dolphins 28 Bills 20 This game has become the Superbowl to the Dolphins, but get the wind knocked out of them easily. If the Bills allow them to hang around and gain any confidence, it could be a close one at the end. Bernard playing is huge, but the Dolphins are going to come out strong.
  15. How does it feel to be so wrong? You should consider deleting your account and changing teams to root for. And it's public for everyone to see...Ouch 😜
  16. I was thinking the same thing, but most of the catches for Shakir and Coleman were with Cooper not on the field. Which, to be honest, is good to see them separating and making plays on their own.
  17. I do find it interesting that many former players, Brady and Kelce specifically, are big Allen fans. I will take their praise over commentators any day. Also, ***** Tom Brady forever
  18. Is it me, or was Cooper on the field less against the Seahawks than he was the Titans? I’m not knocking him because of the interception, but I feel like he was hardly out there in the second half. I’m typically looking out for Hollins to get a feel for what kind of play is coming, and hardly noticed Cooper. Did I miss something?
  19. I’m really starting to wonder if this is true. He’s small for the position and you can’t have your MLB be injured this often.
  20. This is a disclaimer. References to Pitch Perfect result in the losing of one man card point. Future infractions are subject to additional penalty. Acca-scuse me?
  21. Nailed it! You win the internet today
  22. I remember people thinking Moss was washed before being traded to the Patriots
  23. I don't know his name, but the Titan who tracked him down and forced Coleman to change direction was BLAZING fast. That guy ran by literally everyone to track down Coleman.
  24. I think he's getting better and he made some great solo tackles on Henry. The benefit of Milano's injuries is giving Williams more invaluable experience, which will pay off down the road.
  25. I think it's two things: 1 - There are some really terrible teams playing on prime time. It's hard to watch football at times 2 - I think people are over the dynasty in the AFC. For 20 years, it was always Brady. Now, it feels like it's the Mahomes show. It just gets old. For me, with how the Bills have been, the regular season almost feels like the preseason and somewhat pointless. No matter how good the Bills, Bengals, Texans, or Ravens get, they get bounced in the playoffs by the Chiefs. It's just boring.
