  1. What the actual ***** defense. How many 3rd downs you going to concede
  2. He could have actually looked for the ball 🤷🏻‍♂️
  3. I ***** hate the Chiefs. They have that same "just enough to win" bullsh**" luck/ref support that the Pats got for over a decade. I don't know how anyone can like them.
  4. Yup. Brown getting healthy is a major addition to the team. He's the reliable deep threat they needed and allow Worthy to not be forced into action as much in crucial situation. Having both on the field requires cover 2 support and frees up the TE's even more. Typical Chiefs, taking the regular season off and getting right for the playoffs
  5. Nathan Peterman. Beat Josh for the starting job. Had our receivers had any hands in that Chargers game, Nathan would have led us to a Super Bowl by now
  6. Kelly Clarkson - Underneath the Tree Barenaked Ladies with Sarah McLachlan - God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen Dolly Parton - Hard Candy Christmas
  7. I meant Johnson, not Williams. I always confuse those generic names
  8. Ah, okay. It was not the double point. Knox was in the first two drives I think. Both were great
  9. I think there was one to Knox as well, but maybe I’m wrong.
  10. Anyone else find themselves jaw-dropping shocked at our success rate on big plays when it's 3rd and short lately? I understand that many teams will take a shot on 3rd and short if they know they plan to go for it on 4th down, but this feels different to me. In the last two games alone, there were quite a few plays where Josh contributed to big gaines by hitting some crazy throws, that I would say he misses in previous years. And, to me, this is where Josh has really taken the next step. Not only his accuracy on these throws, but the situations in which he is hitting them. Corner routes, especially without a lot of separation, are incredibly difficult as the defender is directly between the QB and receiver. The one pass that stands out to me the most is the corner route to Knox against the Lions for 30+ yards. That throw was absolutely money. I think most QB's miss that throw more than they make it. Josh is dropping those passes in a bucket. Granted, some of the wheel route throws were finger tip catches to Knox and Johnson, but completions nonetheless. And yes, Coleman adjusted his route on the 50 yard bomb, but if you only saw the tail end of that play, you would have never assumed it was a deep pass with the angle the pass came in and how it hit Coleman over the shoulder. I really didn't think Josh could amaze me anymore with his talent. I thought I'd seen it all. But his confidence, his accuracy, and this new accuracy he's showing is next level. If ever there were a moment to appreciate what we have, and only at 28 years old, now is the time.
  11. Took a nap. Did I miss anything?
  12. He was hurt

  14. I came into this thread to find out why he refused to play. All I've seen so far is the speculation you just said. I'm really surprised more information hasn't been released.
  15. Careful what you wish for. Chiefs know how to turn it on my in the playoffs. Hopkins has been coming on lately and they are getting Hollywood back.
  16. This is crap. I bring a sign every game asking Josh to spoon me and he has yet to acknowledge me.
  17. Who was? Soto was the most clutch and performed in the playoffs.
  18. I don’t know if I’m getting soft in my age, but I find people losing their mind over this loss to be ridiculous. Yes, losing sucks. But people acting like the season is over is comical to me. How often does our defense fold like that? Things happen. The Rams have been a hot team for weeks now. They made some amazing plays. What, if we don’t get the 1 seed possibly, so we’re trash? 10-3 is trash? Josh plays out of his mind, yet all hope is lost? McD should be fired, who still has the best record since 1993 with a defensive roster that we all knew was depleted? Did I miss a meeting where a west coast game against a NFC game is our Super Bowl now? Take a drink, relax. We are fine.
  19. This was always the expected outcome, but still shocking to see the numbers. Dude had a monster contract year run.
  20. Maybe cover the receiver in motion?
  21. Is anyone really in a rush to get Kincaid back? I’d argue Knox has been more productive these past few weeks. Brady has never utilized them both on the field in a meaningful way. I was hopeful to see what these two could do together, but we really only need one.
  22. Not a single Josh Gordon comment? C’mon people…
  23. Can't ever single fanbase in the AFC make the same argument as to why their coach sucks? No one has gotten past the Chiefs in the last 4 years besides the Bengals. We aren't an anomaly. If we were in the NFC or the Reid/Mahomes Era, then I truly believe we would see very different outcomes. With that being said, the output McD has gotten from this team during a "transition" year is fantastic. Seeing the payoff the depth and experience has paid off, with those such as Ingram, Lewis, Williams, Hamlin, and others really shows how good a job McD and Beane have done here. Our first run was after they purged us from salary cap hell. Now they are doing it after building a roster, moving on from some players, and still have created a top 5 team. Yes, I want a Super Bowl, but just because we can't do the one thing lately than no one team has been able to do besides the Chiefs, doesn't mean we failed.
