Predict your final 7 for the playoffs.
Virgil replied to Sammy Watkins' Rib's topic in The Stadium Wall
Can you imagine if the Dolphins missed the playoffs after being in 2nd place with 4 weeks to go?. That would be amazing -

Gabe Davis- Do you want him back and for how much $
Virgil replied to NewEra's topic in The Stadium Wall
Any idea what his comp pick would be? I can't ever seem to figure out how that's calculated. The google says it's based off of contract, playing, time, and postseason honors. If it's based off just the 13 seconds game, we should get a bunch of first round picks! 😜 Yeah, I'm thinking someone gives him 15 mil per based upon his size, speed, and flashes with the Bills. I don't think I'd want him back for even 5m per. He's never going to be our number one and I'd rather draft someone with that potential. Maybe I can't forgive him for Philly, but it's moreso that he's don't nothing to stand out to me besides a few games here and there, and even then it's decent at best -

Even if he caught it, what was his plan? He wasn’t going to advance it anywhere. They should cut him on the sidelines -
I def heard the boos. The last Bills offensive drive sounded like it was deafening in person, which is why I called out that moment specifically

I'm still struggling with the timing of this being released now. It's strange to me. But, love or hate McD, you can never argue that he has his players backs and it showed with this article and responses. Coaching aside, bad context or not, McD has every players respect. Now, IF I were a conspiracy theorists, did this article drop now as potential fuel for Pegula to have another piece of ammo to fire McD if things don't go well....

Not sure where you get this from, or if they list this, but do you know what percentage they ran 12 personnel? I'm really curious to see how often Knox/Kincaid were used together out there. And please don't try to look it up if it's not readily available. Just curious in case you had it

WR’s checking with officials when lining up
Virgil replied to LabattBlue's topic in The Stadium Wall
If it was a penalty within play, then maybe. But a pre-snap flag before anything's happened on the field? Yeah, get over it already. If they want to see some backbreakingly bad penalties, let me pull up the Eagles tape -
What were your impressions on the stadium itself? Do you feel it's in need of an upgrade or missing any modern updates? As per the noise, I'm curious what you thought on the Bills last offensive drive. That was the only time I thought the noise was excessive and distracting the Bills.

WR’s checking with officials when lining up
Virgil replied to LabattBlue's topic in The Stadium Wall
I've thought the same things. Receivers on the outside will typically check in with the judge, but Toney wasn't on the outside. He still could have checked in, but didn't. Toney has no one to blame but himself. I can't understand all the crying over this play. For me, who's to say Mahomes only threw it deep because he saw the flag, thought it was defensive, and took a chance on a perceived free play. -
Bills Hire DJ Mangas as Offensive Assistant
Virgil replied to BuffaloBillyG's topic in The Stadium Wall
I have to assume that some duties weren't being addressed when Brady got promoted. I don't know what a QB coach really does, but Brady can't do both. I don't take this hire to indicate anything more with needing some help covering all duties. -
I think people forget that Josh has a lot of respect and a good relationship with Kelce and Mahomes. People are getting on Mahomes for the post game handshake, but I believe their friendship goes beyond being impacted by that. I think Mahomes was just venting to a friend in the moment and they will talk after.

Remember that Dorsey looked good for a few weeks too. I think Brady is currently working to earn the right to apply for the job and be taken seriously. We have to remember that this isn't Brady's offense, as he is just working with the Dorsey playbook and making whatever adjustments he can with 4 games left. With that being said, he appears to be doing a better job. McD seems happier and Josh is getting that swagger back. His first two games looked really good, but I'm not thrilled with the second half of the Chiefs game. Granted, I don't know what adjustments the Chiefs made on defense, but Cook not being used out of the backfield in the second half was alarming to me. Also, the receivers could not get open to save their life. Was that because of the defenders, obvious routes, or the refs letting the defenders be handsy? If the offense continues to look like this for the rest of the season, I believe he definitely deserves the opportunity to apply. But I want to see then bring others in for competition. We should be a preferred destination to a lot of good candidates with Josh being here

I try to empathize as much as I can in these situations. As in, I try to think how I would react if it happened to the Bills. I'd be pissed at the WR, and only the WR. Now, if the receiver looked down to the ref and asked if he was good, and the flag was still thrown, I'd be pissed. But that didn't happen here and we've seen this called before. What's crazy to me is how much the Chiefs are losing their mind over this, compared to how the Bills handled the Eagles game where there were much more egregious calls that absolutely affected the game. Also, Mahomes didn't seem to lose his mind until he failed on the next 3 plays. To me, it shows a lack of maturity and ownership. With that being said, it's kinda nice to be on the other side of these situations for a change.
