  1. I'm really curious to see the way teams try to get around the contract situation and what kind of precedent that sets going forward. Can there be playing incentives?
  2. Okay, trying to get back on topic. It appears that he will be able to sign within the next few days. If the Bills are able to pull that off, then I would view the draft as a huge success. I wanted a QB sure, but they passed on the guys we liked twice and I trust that there is a reason for that. To walk away with a starting G & T was all we really needed.
  3. Kinda feel bad for Petty. I bet he believed the hype
  4. Don't get it at all. He's a #4 corner at best for us. Waste of a #2
  5. What about that DIII Offensive lineman people are raving about?
  6. That was one of the craziest 24 hours I can remember as a fan. Never have I payed so close attention to someone's travel plans
  7. If the Bills keep improving their win totals and become relevant consistently, what will have been the moment that turned it all around. As I think about this from time to time, I have to say it's the signing of Mario Williams. His signing here broke the string of players not wanting to sign here. His play allowed the line to see more single teams and get better. And their play allowed the rest of the D to step up. I don't know if it will all pan out, but if it does...It started there.
  8. That's not the question. I'm not going to play the hindsight game there as it's not debatable yet. They still have years to grow. Right now, I'd say it's a push. But it's been said that they would have taken Ebron. Either way, Sammy was the best WR projected, he won us at least 2 games, and we got him. So yeah, for as much as you can analyze a trade and picks in the NFL within the first year, the Bills did just fine
  9. Yes. Absolutely. When our pick came along, there wasn't anyone I'd rather have. Sammy is better than Ebron + Whoever was left at 19. Even if the Bills had a first round pick, I wish they would have traded back.
  10. To be clear, I never said I wanted them to do it. I agree that the talent is thin and we are good at 50 or trade back. I'm just asking who would be worth it to you IF they did
  11. This pry won't happen, but if they gave up next years first and this years 2nd... What player would make that an okay trade for you?
  12. If you could package those and move up to get Cooper or the WV guy, that would be my choice. You know your D is going to be good and what your O can do with a Gordon. So go get a Gordon that can avoid being suspended
  13. 8-8. We play a better nfc division and our division is tougher. We sneaked out more wins than losses last year and the pats pry aren't going to give us another free win. Until we have an answer at qb, the offensive weapons won't mean that much.
  14. Loved the way he played.
  15. Additionally, I can't imagine going to the game. Losing and being there would be too much, especially how much I would have paid to be there. I would be tempted to see it at the Ralph, assuming they did a fan event where we could watch it on the jumbo trons. I feel like that might be the best, non-isolated way to watch it because I know only others like myself would be around me
  16. It's strange how much I think about this. I feel like no one would really be able to understand what I'm going through, except for my immediate family. But then, if they lose, I can't imagine wanting anyone around me. If they won, well I have no idea as I'm fairly certain my heart would stop
  17. I keep hearing this argument about making opposing defenses bring more into the box, but we've never proven we can make accurate throws downfield with enough consistency where it's a benefit to us. When that happens, THEN, it will be an advantage
  18. This post was made when it was thought that he would be cut. It's no longer relevant
  19. While I agree that our offensive weapons are much better, I can't tell you our coaching is. All of our new coaches are coming from teams that finished worse than we did last year. The AFC East has gotten better. And the difference between 9 wins and 10 is huge. I know that sounds dumb, but that's usually the playoffs. We still don't have an answer around how we are going to get these weapons the ball. We are relying on scheme to make our O-Line better. Incognito was out of the league for a year and that our only addition so far. So yeah, I'm not trying to be a pessimist, but it's all a lot of assumptions so far. The Pats are still the Pats. The Dolphins can pry still split with us. And saying we sweep the Jets isn't. A guarantee again. Then look at the rest of our schedule. We swept the NFC last year. Think that's gonna definitely happen this year? I'm not convinced we will absolutely beat the Cowboys, Eagles, and Giants. So yeah, I can't say our additions have given us 10+ wins
  20. If they draft a qb and it's not someone they think they are reaching for.... Is that person not the favorite to start? Players taken in the first 3 rounds, definitely the top 2 are expected to start in today's NFL. I'm all about finding out qb, but I don't see how any of these guys available to us at 2 are starter worthy while there are starters at position of need to be taken.
  21. No. We will be lucky to win 9 if our O-Line is worse and we still don't have a qb
  22. Footwork is terrible, doesn't step into his throws. Watched a good number of his games. Throws timing routes late, allowing the defenders to get a jump. I see a college qb and only that
  23. Damn Google translate
  24. A - I could give two ***** that he's gay, this is about being the SEC defensive player of the year B - His 40 speed isn't that bad C - There's no harm in bringing him in, and if he can't cut it, he doesn't make the team. That's really are there is to my thought on this.
