  1. If you could package those and move up to get Cooper or the WV guy, that would be my choice. You know your D is going to be good and what your O can do with a Gordon. So go get a Gordon that can avoid being suspended
  2. 8-8. We play a better nfc division and our division is tougher. We sneaked out more wins than losses last year and the pats pry aren't going to give us another free win. Until we have an answer at qb, the offensive weapons won't mean that much.
  3. Additionally, I can't imagine going to the game. Losing and being there would be too much, especially how much I would have paid to be there. I would be tempted to see it at the Ralph, assuming they did a fan event where we could watch it on the jumbo trons. I feel like that might be the best, non-isolated way to watch it because I know only others like myself would be around me
  4. It's strange how much I think about this. I feel like no one would really be able to understand what I'm going through, except for my immediate family. But then, if they lose, I can't imagine wanting anyone around me. If they won, well I have no idea as I'm fairly certain my heart would stop
  5. I keep hearing this argument about making opposing defenses bring more into the box, but we've never proven we can make accurate throws downfield with enough consistency where it's a benefit to us. When that happens, THEN, it will be an advantage
  6. This post was made when it was thought that he would be cut. It's no longer relevant
  7. While I agree that our offensive weapons are much better, I can't tell you our coaching is. All of our new coaches are coming from teams that finished worse than we did last year. The AFC East has gotten better. And the difference between 9 wins and 10 is huge. I know that sounds dumb, but that's usually the playoffs. We still don't have an answer around how we are going to get these weapons the ball. We are relying on scheme to make our O-Line better. Incognito was out of the league for a year and that our only addition so far. So yeah, I'm not trying to be a pessimist, but it's all a lot of assumptions so far. The Pats are still the Pats. The Dolphins can pry still split with us. And saying we sweep the Jets isn't. A guarantee again. Then look at the rest of our schedule. We swept the NFC last year. Think that's gonna definitely happen this year? I'm not convinced we will absolutely beat the Cowboys, Eagles, and Giants. So yeah, I can't say our additions have given us 10+ wins
  8. If they draft a qb and it's not someone they think they are reaching for.... Is that person not the favorite to start? Players taken in the first 3 rounds, definitely the top 2 are expected to start in today's NFL. I'm all about finding out qb, but I don't see how any of these guys available to us at 2 are starter worthy while there are starters at position of need to be taken.
  9. No. We will be lucky to win 9 if our O-Line is worse and we still don't have a qb
  10. Footwork is terrible, doesn't step into his throws. Watched a good number of his games. Throws timing routes late, allowing the defenders to get a jump. I see a college qb and only that
  11. A - I could give two ***** that he's gay, this is about being the SEC defensive player of the year B - His 40 speed isn't that bad C - There's no harm in bringing him in, and if he can't cut it, he doesn't make the team. That's really are there is to my thought on this.
  12. What's he worst that can happen? Dude was dominant in the SEC and we could use some depth. I don't understand why he isn't getting more looks
  13. I would expect to see maybe one safety deep, possibly none. They will stack the field within the first 5-10 yards and make us prove we can make a pass downfield. Sadly, it will probably work
  14. Learn by Doing

  15. I keep seeing all these posts where downers keep talking about the qb situation and all our moves mean nothing unless it's fixed. Or there are posts about not getting Bradford or someone else in trade. We don't have a qb anyone wants to trade for. Unless Kaep or Brees becomes magically available, there was never going to be a major upgrade at qb this year in FA or the draft. It's a moot point. All we can do is stack the talent around our mediocre starter and limit his ability to do damage. So please, stop beating the same drum. We all know the situation and are trying to make the best of it. And for me, I think they've done as good a job in regards to offensive weapons as they can (once we get Clay or another TE)
  16. I see people poking fun at the Jets taking our offense from a few years back but, wasn't our offense pretty good? I mean, we lost many of our games because we couldn't stop anyone on defense. That team knew how to score points. You give Chan Fitz, Stevie, Spiller, Marshall, and a defense, I think they will do better than most people think...
  17. This is not a "sky is falling" thread. With who is left in FA, and assuming we go offensive lineman with our 2nd and 3rd picks (I doubt that will happen), is there talent out there which will finish off this offensive line for the ground and pound game we need? Woods fell off a bit last year and Glenn was solid. After that, who knows? Incognito didn't even play last year. Right now, I'm just wondering if we will be able to find the talent we need to be the team we are trying to be. I have faith
  18. Only if it's a deal that's cheap and easily voidable. We have Goodwin and Thigpen. There are other needs for our money
  19. To the people who think he had little left in the tank.... Are you kidding me? What TE on our roster has you so spoiled that you wouldn't take Jimmy !@#$ing Graham. This would have been an absolute coo for us. 3 Mil more than what we will pry offer Clay? Yeah, no brainer. Even if we gave up our 2nd this year and then some. He's a number 1 receiver for one of the best offenses in the NFL. Some people...
