  1. I really don't think it's real, as much as I dislike thin skinned Graham. If he really was rated high for the Bills, we'd have taken him with our 3rd. I expect someone at 4
  2. I don't know **** about playbooks besides what I see in madden, but imagine this 5-2. Lawson - Williams - Dareus - Washington - Hughes Brown - Ragland Gilmore - Graham - Williams - Darby That's 1 on 1 coverage for each lineman. You would have to keep someone back to block and help out, needing less WR's to cover. And if you spread us out, Our safeties are converted DB's, we press, mix up which OLB and LB will cover, and still come at you with 5. Against the run or getting pressure, that's terrifying no matter how badly Rex tries to mess it up. Even in a 4-3 or 4-2-5, if we can't get pressure with 4 of those 5 lineman with added LB or CB coverage, we have problems
  3. Normally, I'd agree. But let's say that Lawson and Ragland were really first round picks and Cook was a third rounder, once considered a potential first. If I told you we lost this years 4th and 6th and next years 4th and 5th to get those 3, you taking it? I feel like most would.
  4. It's not about a #2. We need a burner. Our offense was very different with Harvin out there
  5. Yeah, I don't get this. He's not a NT. Dareus is bigger. Where does he fit in?
  6. Really, Cardale? This seems crazy early for him. I don't see why he isn't there in the 4th for us
  7. well, if we want cook, I think we have to jump Cleveland. I don't want him, so I stay put. I'm good trading back for another 4th
  8. All of these analysts are relaying opinions and quotes from people on the team that are not going to be honest about anything. If the Bills wanted Cook, they would have taken him. At this rate, they could still get him. I have no opinion of the guy and I'd rather have the kid from Stanford if he's there in the 4th. People were trading up everywhere and LB's were coming off the board like crazy. And to say Ragland is a weak position? How weak was it last year when our ILB kept bouncing off of RB's and giving up TD's?! Seriously, first round talent and we benefited from teams having needs at other positions. Be happy. We have two first round picks on our team, lost a 4th next year and a pick this year we didn't originally have. If I'm telling you that you are being negative, you are really in trouble. I'm not in optimistic mode, because we still have Rex at the helm, but we get an OT, S, LB, I may start to perk up a bit
  9. It looks like most of the players sliders and risers have evened out now. Might see less trades now. Lots of solid value out there.
  10. Had to listen to the picks on NFL Radio. I found myself fist pumping when Ragland was selected. Just love the pick and the value. We had an extra 4th this year, so we basically gave away next years 4th to move up and get a 1st round, immediate starter at LB from an NFL style college defense. I could care less about his wonderlic. His speed is more than good for an ILB, especially in a 3-4. I just see a beast who will help with our run support, clog the holes, and overall lead this team. This pick makes me like the Lawson pick a ton more. I'm very, VERY happy with how this worked out.
  11. Let him chew rocks so long as he's smacking Brady around
  12. Love it. Absolutely love it. I think the value was high because lots of teams were trying to trade up. We have an extra 4th this year to give. Big need and top MLB in draft. Makes me like the first pick more.
  13. Gave up a 4th this year and next. Don't know who they were afraid of taking their guy
  14. 99% of my posts are in the main forum. And most of the people I converse with are over there. I've definitely noticed a separation of users between the two forums
  15. I really feel like TE's have become the Safeties responsibility unless we are trying to disguise coverage. But yes, when we get burned by TE's, it's usually because we put a LB on Gronk. In fairness, what LB's can cover TE's like that anyways. It's not our Dad's NFL, which is why the conversation of TE coverage isn't even about LB's anymore in my opinion
  16. I just want to give a shout out to SDS for making this site and keeping it together like he has. I've been around quite a few forums where things get out of hand quickly or it's just gif's everywhere. This site is direct and has a great community. Yes, we fight and I make my share of utterly stupid comments. But it's all in greater good of the being a Bills fan which, despite the misery of defeat, is a great thing to be. So to everyone out there, even those who I go back and forth with, thank you for being part of this place I look forward to future buffoonery.
  17. We need more than a few guys. OT, S, WR, DT, OLB, MLB...QB
  18. Sounds like a Brandon Spikes to me. He doesn't have to be fast to plug up the middle as a run defender. Running Alabama's D isn't easy. He'd be an immediate upgrade and best starter option we have available
  19. http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/11302/myles-jack It's just worth the risk. Even if there's only a 20% chance it pans out, we need to get him
  20. For those following and like to see who's available. This is based off sbnation. Consider that some of these players are ranked 100-150 best available. MLB is a thin position QB Connor Cook - Michigan State Christian Hackenberg - Penn State Cardale Jones - Ohio State Dak Prescott - Mississippi State Kevin Hogan - Stanford OT Jason Spriggs - Indiana Le'Raven Clark - Texas Tech Shon Coleman - Auburn Vadal Alexander - LSU Spencer Drango - Baylor WR Michael Thomas - Ohio State Sterling Shepard - Oklahoma Tyler Boyd - Pittsburgh Leonte Carroo - Rutgers Rashard Higgins - Colorado State Braxton Miller - Ohio State NT A'Shawn Robinson - Alabama Jarran Reed - Alabama Chris Jones - Mississippi State Andrew Billings - Baylor Jonathan Bullard - Florida OLB Myles Jack - UCLA Jaylon Smith - NotreDame Joshua Perry - Ohio State Su'a Cravens - Southern Cal Jordan Jenkinds - Georgia MLB Reggie Ragland - Alabama Kentrell Brothers - Missouri Nick Virgil - Utah State Nick Kwiatoski - West Virginia Tyler Matakevich - Temple S Vonn Bell - Ohio State Darian Thompson - Boise State Jeremy Cash - Duke TJ Green - Clemson Sean Davis - Maryland K Robery Aguayo - Florida State
  21. Just curious if we see certain players fall, what we would have to give up. If we wanted to move up to picks 5-10, is that a 4th rounder?
  22. Knowing who dropped, I would have loved the extra picks and be picking 4th in round 2. We could've got our NT and LB
  23. I feel terrible for this kid. I get that teams can come out and say who they are targeting. But this kid is just sitting there waiting and you get the vibe that no team had any intention of taking him. I hope he doesn't come back tomorrow on the change he doesn't get drafted in round 2.
