  1. Yes, many teams knew about his shoulder and maybe needing surgery. That's not a spin. That was said
  2. During the draft, it was rumored by both networks that his shoulder was a reason for his draft ranking. That wouldn't come from no where. Now, whether you think the Bills knew or were inept, I'll agree that would be up for debate
  3. I understand that this season is only their first of hopefully a long career and in the grand scheme of things, this is a small amount of time. The issue is that we aren't a playoff team. We are in win now mode and don't have the luxury to gamble so much with our first two picks. No, we couldn't have predicted Ragland's injury. But we put our own backs against the wall when we took a guy who many already knew was going to miss half the season. If we were the packers, or a team that makes the playoffs regularly, this is a different opinion. And we also have no idea if this is going to be a domino effect and these injuries will nag them all year.
  4. Genuinely laughed out loud at this
  5. This is what makes the Lawson pick seem more irresponsible to me. I know I'm going to get torched for this, but when you take a guy who you know is going to miss half the season, you put more pressure on your other picks to succeed to have a valuable draft. We gave ourselves to wiggle room and now we are only going to get 8 games out of 32 from our top two picks. That's just overal unacceptable. I know you can't control injuries, but that's why you don't also gamble with them.
  6. Scheme and comfortability makes ALL the difference and this team proved it. Look at the drop off from Schwartz to Rex. Same players. It still pisses me off to think about it because did it all in one year because he knew how to adapt. Either way, the talent is there. You can't be all-pro at every position. We have more than enough talent, even with Spikes just being brought in. Now, do I have faith in Rex to capitalize on it.......
  7. I'm not worried about the D at all honestly. I believe we got better with the loss of Mario. I believe that, while Ragland would be good, he's a rookie and Spikes should be adequate. Most importantly, the team being on the same system for two straight years, players overall just getting better, and overall buy in will make us better. Either way, it can't be worse
  8. I still don't see the benefit here. If TT proves his worth this year, we he's going to get a deal next year and we need the franchise tag for Gilmore next year. So, the only reason to get a deal done now is to prevent needing the tag next year and not hosing ourselves ala Fitz style. Pushing the deal down two years is even worse in my opinion. If he's the guy two years down the road still, it's only going to cost us more
  9. If this doesn't have a team option after 2 years, this makes no sense. Is the idea to throw money at him in good faith and hope he returns the favor if earns a long term deal? If not, he's getting 3 this year and the tag is 22ish next year. So what's the point in this? If they want to do 2 years for 20 mil, I'd be better with that. The first reference to a 3 year deal with a team option for more makes the most sense to me.
  10. Every year we have one, if not two games, that we lose that we thought couldn't happen. Equally, we pull out a win we weren't supposed to either. So I can't question it too much
  11. It's my passive aggressive way of saying that's it's unimportant, means nothing, so don't worry about it. You can buy my translator book at Borders.....
  12. I think many are missing the BBFS aspect of the post
  13. I've come to accept the fact that tongue and cheek posts are lost on half of this board
  14. I'm very happy to be wrong

Well, at least we kept the Jets out too. Fire Rex, Keep Rex, Burn it down. Continuity! I think that about covers my upcoming range of emotions for the season
  16. It's science. He's gonna be a star!!!
  17. He's on his rookie deal and missed a whole season. Sorry, this is how it works. I feel no sympathy for him. He can bleed teams after this deal is up, hopefully get his extension next year
  18. There's nothing I want to be more true
  19. We have the money this year and next. If I can make a deal with a decent out clause after year 2/3, I'm good with it.
