  1. 19-6 Bills
  2. Rex doesn't believe in us? I guess that means we are going to the Super Bowl guys!!!!
  3. When is he free to go on the practice squad, 24 hours from being cut? Not that we would do that. Makes too much sense
  4. This makes no sense to me. Tolbert isn't anywhere near the RB Williams was. It doesn't really save money. I just don't get it. This is going to be a big problem if Shady goes down
  5. Another pre-emptive "I told you so" thread. You make this after seeing others already makes these posts in a variety of threads, so what's the point except to flaunt your opposing opinion?
  6. So, since we kept Ducasse, I'm assuming no comp pick?
  7. I still don't understand the demarco and Tolbert signing. If Tolbert is just going to be a #3 rb, or we aren't going to have both of them on the field at the same time, I just don't get it
  8. His snap to release was so quick, I can't imagine how he could've done more than that. It seemed like a lot of quick plays and we were just a step ahead of the defense on them. I'm not taking anything away from him and I agree that last week he made multiple reads. So it's not to say he can't do it. This week, the play calls and prep was just didn't.
  9. I admit that tonight was impressive. His release was as quick as I've seen from a QB, with some zip on the ball. HOWEVER, he was also only being asked to make one read. This is also the 4th preseason game, which we all know what teams show. I think he showed enough to give him a chance when this season gets out of hand. And by that I mean, if TT isn't showing why he is ABSOLUTELY the QB of our future and we are below .500 halfway through the season, I give Peterman. As for the comment about comparing him to Trent Edwards? Again, I don't know how you can compare them after such as short amount of time. Yes, he hasn't gone deep, but neither has Tyrod.
  10. I would lose my **** if that happens
  11. Only 4 players are returning on defense. So no, they wouldn't be the most affected.
  12. One of the best at run blocking and we are changing that scheme, but keeping the penalties. We look arguable worse with passing due to assignment pickups. The right side of the line is a joke. I don't see us ranking close to what we did last year on the line
  13. I thought the concessions were kind of weak actually. Not much variety at all. Nowhere near as good as Camden, right across the street. I also don't like the angle of the upper decks. Seems like you'd be a lot further away than at the Ralph. Other than that, it's very nice.
  14. I don't know if I had to see it live or what, but I think I'm finally understanding what the team is doing. I think it's so easy to underestimate the mental toughness and Buy-in needed from players into the coaching and the scheme. I also believe that you can become a mental loser and not understand a winning culture. Even with all the turnover on the defensive side of the ball (only 4 starters left from last year), they still look so much further ahead than the offense. Why? Because of the turnover in my opinion. I think that most of the offensive needs to be blown up more. It's nothing against Tyrod, Mills (Even though he's a dumpster fire) or anyone else. The mental mistakes these guys are just used to making is so obvious. The batted down balls, illegal formation, all of it. I don't really think it matters who our QB is with this offensive line and their super combo of penalties and terrible blocking. It all just needs to be blown up with guys who weren't part of the Rex Ryan clown show. And yes, I think even Incognito is part of that. These guys just don't know how to not mess up anymore. Rex broke them. And yes, the offensive coaching staff deserves some of the blame for not fitting scheme to talent. This is the same line as last year, but now we can't even run the ball so far. Yes, it's preseason. Yes, we are seeing vanilla. But the issues aren't about scheme really. This is just an old losing mentality and you can just see the difference between the players from last year vs this one. Call it a rebuild, can it whatever. But all the players with Rex PTSD need to go.
  15. I went to Camden a lot when I lived up there. I know a spot that's maybe $20 and it's an easy out. It's 4 blocks from Camden, and they share a parking lot. If interested, message me. Now, for a preseason game, it may not matter with light traffic. However, make sure you eat at Matthews Pizza while you are there. Don't judge it by its appearance. Voted best pizza in the state for over a decade.
  16. Because if he's not a fit, then he's simply not a fit. If health is the issue, I'm surprised they let him on the field
  17. At this point, if we can get a 3rd for him, take it
  18. The question is whether or not I can commit to a full rebuild and care about this season as much. I don't believe tanking exists when you play for non-guaranteed contracts. But as a fan, do you ultimately hope for only 3-4 wins for the draft picks?
  19. This isn't about the preseason to me. Unless they can get 9-10 wins, I think I'd hope for 4 wins instead of 5-8. I don't want to root for them to lose, but the high picks just mean more
  20. I'm not trying to get into the tanking, not tanking conversation. No team is going to say they are tanking or in a complete rebuild when their are tickets to sell and players to keep happy. The Browns and Jets did it, but I think the fans wanted it too. Here's my concern. I believe that there's a natural transition whenever you get a new head coach. Nothing against the coach, but a new scheme just takes time for players to feel comfortable in and some players simply don't adapt. Look at our current DB's and LB's. We've pretty much turned them all over, not because they weren't good, but because they just don't fit. That's point #1. Point #2 is that we have the 4th hardest schedule. Yes, that changes from season to season, but I don't see it changing enough where we are given any favors. Point #3. Rookies are rare to contribute enough to where they are difference makers. Best case scenario is a solid contributor in their first 2 years. Put those 3 points together and I just don't see us making a playoff push this year or maybe even next. It's not that I'm a pessimist or disagree with what the team is doing. I would hold these standards to any team. I actually believe that we will get more production out of Matthews than Watkins. I agree that our defense will be better next year. But our offense line scares me and our no-name DB's/LB's scare me too. I just think it's too much against us. So with that, besides cap tragedies like Dareus, is there anyone that shouldn't be traded if we can't get value? Should anyone really be off limits? If the plan is to have a cap healthy team, with good young talent, where in 2 years when the Brady Era is done, is that a bad thing? While I hate the idea of 2 more years of non-playoffs, I think about the run we could go on from there. Again, I'm torn.
  21. Anyone else think TT should've delayed the snap so that blitzer couldn't just keep momentum? If he stops at the line, then blitzes, I don't think that INT happens
  22. I'm still not convinced on Mariotta. They don't ask him to do much and I feel he's similar to Tyrod in that he has a great running game and doesn't make the anticipatory throws. When the game is on the line and he has to make it happen with his arm, turnovers tend to happen.
  23. 2917 - All Hail Zorn!
  24. While they are high numbers, I wouldn't count it out if we are fully rebuilding and 3 years out. It's a on if dead space that's replaced with low paid draft picks that we get in trade. Plus, then the player is gone and off the books by year three. I agree it's a ludicrous number, but we've seen teams do worse to acquire picks and weather the storm of a rebuild.
