  1. This is the logic used to defend Tyrod. People don't want to hear it unless they've already made up their mind
  2. It’s not about liking a guy. I like JP, Fitz, and Tyrod. It’s about the guy who can get us there
  3. I'm going to say the Bills for a few reasons, but this is a good question. 1 - The wheels seem to be falling off for the defense and they are getting rid of some of the players that were thought to be the future 2 - HC seems to be a lame duck right now as is the entire coaching staff 3 - They play in a city where the fans are usually non-existant 4 - The owner could move the team at any time and seems like he might eventually 5 - They don't have the high potentials on offense like we do, even though we don't even know what we have
  4. If this is the year he can be let go without the cap hit, do it. He’s very capable, but he’s disappeared on this team. Not worth the money
  5. I would have said Gurley a few weeks back, but Brees is just playing out of his mind
  6. The only thing I think is relevant outside of having Rivers is the fact the Lynn is an offensive coach and McDermott is a defensive coach. As debated to exhaustion, most believe you need to have an offensive minded coach to succeed in today’s NFL
  7. I haven’t seen much attention called to fact that the Chargers are 7-2 with the guy we let walk away to be their coach. Are those out there thinking we made a mistake or do you chalk it up to having Rivers? Either way, I’m happy for him and glad he is making the most of his opportunity.
  8. We have 3 wins and the season is done. This is where you find out. Yes, he had some crap throws. But he also connected on more deep balls than we have in two seasons. If that’s how is after being rusty, maybe it gets better. I don’t believe anyone is owed anything until they prove it. This is as good a time as any to let him prove it. Here’s my question. If Allen was out 5 more weeks and Barkley goes 5-1 over those games and looks like he did against the Jets, do you still start Allen when healthy? I don’t. I start who wins unless I have a Brady/Rodgers who’s proven it Also, this
  9. I don’t understand this logic. He’s not old. If he works, he works. I think he deserves another start after his last game. If he bombs, then okay. But I agree that he should start until he proves he’s still the Matt Barkley of old. To bench the QB that led the best offensive performance of McDermott’s career doesn’t make complete sense to me. I get what we put into Allen and want him to become, but it Barkley can keep doing what he did, what’s the problem? Again, until he doesn’t.
  10. I just think of all the years we knew we could only get a wild card. Imagine if the Pats were crap right now. We’d honestly still be in contention to win the division. The end of Marsha is the beginning of great times for us
  11. If Allen can show that he’s our QB of the future, I don’t care what our record is
  12. Hey, got to talk about something, right?
  13. With how our defense is playing and where everyone is at least holding up, I think our first pick has to be one of the top WR’s this year. Good news is, we shouldn’t have to trade up. If foster can do what he did last week, I’m good him in our top 3. We was a steal pick and solid in college. If the light turned on for him, that’s a big win
  14. Hasn’t Bodine been much better lately? I also don’t notice Mills much, which is a compliment to an offensive lineman. He’s gotten better every year I know certain people would role over in their grave, and there doesn’t seem to be a guy in this years draft, but RB has to start becoming a position we look at in early rounds after next year
  15. I agree. But what’s your list of offseason prioritiy? Also agreed
  16. A lot of people on here have been harping on the offensive talent we don’t have and how we can’t win. However, as our offensive line appears to be improving, Zay looking to be a #2, and if these young kids at WR keep it together, does our list of offensive needs shrink? Besides a true #1 WR, what is our glaring needs? And if that’s the case, what’s been the problem with the offense? Is it QB play? Did Daboll finally figure it out? I’m not being sarcastic or attacking any one thing, but it’s interesting how much things look to have changed in a week. For me, I’m looking for RB, TE, O-Line upgrades if they are BPA, but nothing that’s holding us back. But I also am aware that it’s only been one week.
  17. Two games and two big mistakes. Can’t do that with a min deal and young guys behind you
  18. It’s a mirage. Opposing teams have an NFL best starting field position against us. Also, we’ve had numerous games over by halftime, leading to a lot of rushing. Teams also aren’t as aggressive against us because they know we will just punt the ball right back. We are basically letting teams play half the field and half a game. We are good, but we aren’t #1
  19. It’s hard to justify paying some these guys when McDermott rotates his line so much. I think he’s done a great job in run support and containment, but his pass rush doesn’t really jump off the page. Usually, as a outside lineman, you need to have the sack number to get paid. Between the rotation, paying Murphy and Hughes, I don’t know how you can have 30 mil locked up there.
  20. What will so many of the members on here post about?
  21. That’s assuming another good offensive performance from this team. If we go with Allen, there’s no evidence to indicate that will happen
