The Philadelphia Eagles select Josh Jacobs, RB, Alabama. The Eagles really wanted to go defensive back here, but the top guys got plucked ahead of them and others would be a stretch. After DB, the halfback situation was the next glaring need and Jacobs fit that in addition to being a BPA. This is result of playing the draft and going with what falls to you. Also, with certain runningback needy teams behind them, they get the best at the position and can focus elsewhere with their multiple later picks. The Colts are now on the clock @Chuck Wagon I didn’t see this until after I picked, I swear. But yeah, he’s BPA and fits a major need.

It’s interesting. Oliver was considered a top 2 pick going into the season with Bosa. The season hurt him. But I could see someone valuing him in the top 10. On the flip side, I know the Ravens brought him in for a visit. So he could also fall a bit

I looked at 10 mocks. 7 of them had them taking Bosa. He’s considered the best taken in the draft. He’s the safest pick and locks them up on the edges for years
