He was amazing in 2020. Absolutely unreal. He caught everything around him and made so many clutch grabs.
2021, not so much. I believe he played with broken ribs much of the season which can't be fun but it really looked like he lost a step. The insane separation he used to get and the automatic YAC wasn't there. He was still a dependable chain mover but he had a few drops. Probably unfair to compare his performance against 2020 but its a natural thing to do.
Time to get younger and more explosive.
Didn't he play 2020 with a broken bone in his leg too? The guy is tough as nails. I cracked a rib once and couldn't move for like a week.

New Orleans seems like a good fit for Watson. They’re a pretty greasy team. If Sean Payton was still there then they’d be the ultimate villains.

I love Breece too, but I’m certain we are going CB with first selection, unless Jameson is available. Then Beane has a tough call.
Breece might even slip into first round imoI also really like Kenneth Walker
I think Kenneth Walker is the best RB in this class, although it’s not a good class. Breece Hall and Isaiah Spiller are both overrated.- 1

Why are a bunch of fans happy to bring in a guy who can't stay healthy, has been largely a bust and looks washed after a dreaded Achilles tear in 2020?
What you saw last year is post Achiles OJ Howard. 3.5 million for 140 yards and 1 TD?
Could have all but locked up Bates for the same money (2nd round tender is 3.8 million)
I don't get it
Not surprised he had a terrible year in 2021 after returning from an Achilles injury but 3.5M is a bargain for what he could bring another year removed from that injury. It was only a few years ago where we were paying Tyler Kroft like 7M in free agency. -
AJ Green looked like a corpse in 2020 and was actually pretty decent last year. So you never know, Julio might still have some gas left in the tank. I’m a big fan of Julio so would love to see him come to Buffalo.

Maybe Reggie Gilliam didn't want to give up number 41 to McKissic?
But really, that sucks but I'm sure we'll find someone else. Cordarelle Patterson is still the dream scenario.

Pittsburgh is at 20, maybe he figures the Chargers will take him at 17.

Hooper also wouldn’t count against the comp pick formula FWIW.

3.5M AAV for a 3rd down back who is 29 when the season starts.
"And there was much rejoicing..."
Fantasy football has ruined how people assess value wrt RB's.
He has looked excellent the last two years, and we need a RB who can catch the ball and make things happen. McKissic had some clutch plays for Washington this past season too.

I don't think this RB draft class is very good so glad to see them make this addition now.

Excellent pass catching back! Didn't spend too much either! I love it.

Good for Zay Jones on turning his career around after it looked pretty bleak. But that contract is preposterous.

I didn’t realize Tyler Conklin was a free agent, he is pretty underrated. Would be an awesome TE2 for the Bills.

The TE market is completely out of control.
The amount of money bad to average TEs have gotten the past two off-seasons is crazy.
Wtf.
Like when the Bills signed Tyler Kroft to a 3 year/$18,750,000 deal? That was just so bad.

We might want to extend Dawson Knox soon, yesterday would have been better.

Kinda glad Christian Kirk isn't coming here, Jax is probably giving him way too much money.

Wow that's a steal for McKenzie and what he can bring to the team, hopefully he sees more snaps this year at WR.

I never understood the big contract he got last year, he was solid in 2020 for practically no money. Then gets paid big time for a year and then released. I was expecting a re-structure so this is interesting.

5’8”? He’s still growing I guess!
Glad to have him back, hopefully for cheap again, I’m surprised he didn’t test the market.

A plug for the local boy: In the 7th round the Bills will select what later turns out to be the steal of the draft - Erik Ezukanma (Texas Tech).
Seriously, after the 2020 season he might have been a 2nd/3rd round pick. Last season he was not quite as successful due to injury and the atrocious play of the TTU QBs. He has good hands for contested catches and fights for YACs.
I’d be happy to draft this guy later on. I think the Bills will wait on WR so maybe he’ll be an option. I also like Mike Woods later on too. -
Engram sucks, bad hands and can’t block either. That price is ridiculous too, let someone else pay it. Give me Gronk or Dissly who can actually block.
-
Did Josh Allen cause the relationship between Wilson and the Seahawks to sour? Pretty far fetched but would be funny if true.

What to do at CB?

If I had to bet, I would say we are taking a CB with our first rounder. Likely lots of good options available at that pick.
