All things considered, being down only 17-7 is astonishing.

Could you imagine if the Bills stopped the Bengals on this drive?? Seems impossible

Burrow is just too good
Bills made him look good there for sure. -
I’m on Atlantic time so luckily I can go to bed and not stay up for this garbage.

Last week Beasley came out of nowhere to have a really solid game, making some big catches and scoring a TD. Who is your unusual suspect that comes out of the shadows to make an impact on Sunday? I'm gonna pull one out of the hat and say Reggie Gilliam has himself a game this week. I'm guessing 3 catches for around 30 yards with a TD, also opening up some nice lanes for Cook and Motor.
Gilliam has been pretty quiet lately, he was pretty involved at the start of the year but tailed off, so maybe he’s due! He also came off the field holding his arm last game but appears to be fine, would love to see him score a TD!-

Is Phillips wearing any kind of shoulder brace? I think he has the same injury as Dalvin Cook who played through it with the brace on.

Pittsburgh model. Mike Wallace in the third in 2009. Emmanuel Sanders in the third in 2010. Antonio Brown in the sixth in 2010. Markus Wheaton in the third in 2013. Marty Bryant in the fourth in 2014. Sammie Coates in the third in 2015. Juju in the second in 2017. James Washington in the third in 2018. Diontae Johnson in the third in 2019. Claypool in the second in 2020. Pickens in the second in 2022.
Do you know why they always have a great WR group? Because they draft the ***** out of them.
When Pittsburgh drafts a WR in the second round, they're a guaranteed stud. When the Bills draft a WR in the second round, they get Zay Jones lol. The team is probably still traumatized from that.

Beane has spent 3 day 2/3 picks on RBs over the past three years… those are high picks… and at the same time they seem to hate to spend those high picks on WRs for a passing offense with arguably the best QB in the game. Head scratching strategy.
The WR draft strategy has been waiting on WR in loaded draft classes, 2020 they got Davis late and 2022 they got Shakir, both looking like great values and solid players but not stars. I think if they want a home run WR, you gotta take them early but it seems like most teams are reaching on them in the early rounds, so they’re tough to get.-

I’d be all for the Bills taking Bijan, but he’ll be gone for sure, he’ll probably destroy the combine and he just looks unreal.
I also don’t think James Cook can shoulder a huge workload, he needs to be splitting with someone else. Whether it be Singletary or whoever they bring in via free agency or the draft.

Actually makes perfect sense. Who would you bet on having better work ethic, a guy who made his way having to grind every step of the way or the guy who had a little easier road because they could rest on natural ability at a young age?
It goes without saying that pretty much anybody who makes it to the NFL has elite size and physical skills. But I'd be more prone to bet on the guy who took the harder road.
There is a reason the Bills look for guys who were captains on their college teams.
I remember Joe Marino saying last draft that the Bills likely prefer guys who had a harder road to success, thus why they hadn't drafted many guys from the SEC over the last few years. Then they ended up drafting Elam and Cook from there.

Number 3 had two hands on the ball, brutal!
would have preferred the Jags, but the Ravens hammered the Bengals pretty good. Hopefully they softened them up for us.
Bengals defence were out there for a lot of snaps, hopefully they’re somewhat gassed. -

Man I don't know who they're playing, but if the Bengals play like this next week they probably won't win, or at least that's how it works right?
Correct, but I believe since Miami got 31 points on the Bills, that means the Bengals will get a minimum of 75 points against the Bills. -
I’m guessing McDermott doesn’t trust younger players at WR and prefers veterans. Hodgins doesn’t get a chance, Shakir doesn’t get targets, Davis was overshadowed by Emmanuel Sanders last year, they traded for Diggs, now they have Beasley and John Brown back in the lineup.
-
Guarantee they get a TD after that roughing the passer
-
Why must the Bills always take their foot off the gas when they get a lead? I feel like they were trying to be greedy and just coast out a W. Miami wasn’t having any of that.

i don't know why Lawrence doesn't run it more often.

I can't believe the Jags made this a game, everything was going the Chargers way in the first half.

Chargers using up their good fortune in one night. Slow down guys save some for KC (likely)
I say let them get as much confidence as possible for next week, run up the score. -

Who do we want?
I guess the Chargers have a better chance of beating KC so probably best that they win.-

I was wondering why Quay Walker was right in the middle of the circle around D’andre Swift, they played college ball together at Georgia so probably good friends.
-
That was BS officiating. NFL does not want the Lions in the playoffs.
