He was engaging, intelligent, not bombastic, etc (This again before he ran). The United States Debt/GDP was just fine back in 2008, before Obamacare started the annual pillaging and borrowing and destruction of our Balance Sheet. The exact numbers are look-uppable, but since then we've gone from like 70% Debt/GDP to about 120-130% (the problem here is...I've got no reason to believe the underlying data our own gov't presents anymore). This puts on the nearer-term path toward Japan, Italy or Greece style deficits...the PROBLEM with that is, those nations had the previously Non-Socialist United States civilization to lean on for protection, Healthcare innovation, technological innovation, and global economic growth. As Biden/Harris spend us down a deleterious path of destruction, which will be GREAT for asset owners at first and then terrible for everybody, eventually the reckoning will come. No, there are externalities to certain things that require a government's involvement.
