  1. I'm not willing to go that far but you do make fair points. Josh has been mostly average which is still better rhan most QBs. He's better than 2019 based on experience alone. He doesn't turn the ball over nearly as much. His maturity is pretty clear. With that, he dies need to play better. Especially, this Sunday against a weak KC defense. Edmunds is average and I can see why you don't agree with the signing. The Oline is a concern for obvious reasons. Strongly disagree with your Knox take. He has played really well. He looks to be a solid piece on the offense. Love coach McD. He is a great leader and has the respect of the players. They play hard for him and he has the team ready to play. I believe the Pitt game was a one off. Also, I think the coaching staff makes great halftime adjustments. Daboll is very good. It's easy to point the finger at the offensive coordinator. He will always be scape goat's. Imho, the Bills are fortunate to have him. Lastly, the Bills do have a chance. I'm expecting a loss but a win isn't out of the question. KC defense is very beatable. A great game plan and execution is needed.
  2. That's true but I believe it's taken a bit of of contexts. We are talking elite and franchise Qbs. Take a look at Tyrod, Teddy, Fitz, Geoff, Cousins, Cam, Jimmy G, etc...Elite and franchise doesn't apply.
  3. I think you have to look at the Bills D and the opposing offenses. Pitt and Houston are horrible. Miami lost Tua and had to play Brissett on a whim. Wash offense looks decent. I think it's fair to say the Bills D hasn't faced a quality offensive team. Obviously, nothing like the Chiefs. The Chiefs have lost mainly because their defense isn't good. Their offense is still one of the best in the league, they know how to beat the Bills, and they have Kelce who the Bills have no answer. The defense looks very promising but up front they are still very young. I'm not sure they can pressure Mahomes to win the game. I think he will shred the Bills defense. Similarly, Allen should do the same. However, Reid and the Chiefs seem to know how to shut down the Bills offense. In summary, the Bills D will be tested by an offensive juggernaut. I'm not confident the Bills can slow down their offense. Additionally, I believe the Bills D really hasn't been tested because of their opponents.
  4. Fair enough.
  5. They have a super bowl MVP QB, the best tight end in the league, a hall a fame coach, a young dynamic runner, Chris Jones, Houston, Frank Clark, and the honey bagder. Additionally, they have owned the Bills. Do you really think we closed the gap?
  6. No doubt team talent can help or hurt a Qbs development. You have cited valid examples. However, a mediocre QB with a very talented team will never be elite or a franchise QB. I think that's the distinction I'm trying to make. Herbert looks elite but its too early for me to declare it.
  7. Sadly, I agree. However, I'm not going to get down on the team if they lose. I expect them to lose. KC is a better team, playing at home, and can't afford to lose. The Bills will win the division easily and I'm hoping they march into the playoffs playing strongly. This game will be a decent measuring stick. However, its too early to declare the Bills a bust or super bowl winners.
  8. Agree 100%. The Bills D has faced a terrible Pitt offense, Miami isn't much better and Tua got hurt, WFT are decent, and the Texans enough said. We will see how good the defense really is in Arrowhead. I don't believe the Bills will slow down their offense. The Bills just aren't a good match up vs the Chiefs. Kelce cannot be stopped, CEH shouldn't bad as effective with Star in the middle. Mahomes and Reid know how to beat the Bills. On the other hand, I think the Chiefs defense is very beatable. The Bills should be able to score. However, they need to change up the game plan. The Chiefs defensive game plan was outstanding against the Bills last year. I believe the threat of a run game is vitato beat the Chiefs. Some quick passes and screens too. Limit the 5 WR formation. I don't see a Bills win in Arrowhead. The Chiefs will outscore the Bills. They really need the win. I'm laying the 3.5 points and betting big on the Chiefs. KC. 38 Bills. 28 Spoken like a true homer.
  9. I think you are confusing and mudding the arguments. Yes, Herbert went into a better situation than Josh and others. Still that doesn't mitigant his talent or performance. It's not far to use the talent around him as an excuse that lessens his talent. I see Herbert as very close to Allen's level. He was very good against the Chiefs and the Raiders. Make some great reads and throws, stayed cool in the pocket, make some big 4th down conversions, and looked like a leader with great confidence.
  10. What makes you say Herbert isn't at Allen's level? Josh's legs are better but other than that I think it's pretty close. Both are outstanding young qbs.
  11. AFC: KC, Clev, Balt, SD, Bflo, and Tenn. NFC: Tampa, Dallas, L.A., Seattle, and Ariz. No particular order. Not sure NFC is more wide open.
  12. Chargers look like super bowl contenders. Remember, last year they were hot at the end of the season. No one wanted to play them in the playoffs. Last week, they beat the Chiefs at Arrowhead.
  13. Love it after all the ***** fans give him.
  14. I disagree here. The Bills will blowout the Texans. The offense wants to be hitting on all cylinders before the next game. The Texans are the perfect team for that. Their defense should offer little credible stopping power. I look for a huge game from Allen and Diggs. The Texans are horrible on offense with their Tyrod QB injury. The Bills defense is playing at a high level. I see plenty of sack and picks. A pick 6 isn't put of the question. Bills 38 Texans 13
  15. It's most impressive how he's improved his accuracy. His arm talent was never in question. In fact, Mayock and Hassleback stated that Allen had the biggest upside. The Bills swung for the fences and hit a home run. Gotta give Beane and company credit. His strides forward are off the charts. Last year's jump was phenomenal. I'm not sure there has been a bigger QB improvement in the history of the NFL.
  16. Fair question. I wasnt debating if Allen is a franchise QB or a top tier QB. No doubt he is the future of the Bills. I'm glad he is the Bills QB. I was trying to say he may be regressing and used the last 2-4 games as examples, may not play up to last year's level, has a short sample of games that reflect greatness, and he did play poorly in the first 2 games. Of course you and others disagree with much of my points. I'm ok with that. The counter arguments are valid but no means evidence that my points aren't correct. The evidence will be presented on the field. The Washington game certainly put a great dent into my points. No one is more happier about that then me.
  17. He did a some short like passes to Beasley that were effective. He mixed up the play calling well vs Wash.
  18. At first fiance, the cowboy defense had looked good. Dan Quinn has done a nice job. Last year the cowboy defense was leaking. Nothing screams elite or franchise about Hurts. He is serviceable. Sure glad to have Allen on the Bills.
  19. He sure looks very good so far.
  20. Agree. Not sure why all the gloom and doom about the Bills Oline. It's only 3 games and last game was much improved. It's a long season and they should be very good come crunch time.
