  1. Frank Reich is a really good coach. Wish McDermott would have the Bills more ready and more prepared this year. I think he's a good coach too but this year he's been disappointing.
  2. Watching the game and wishing the Bills had a run game.
  3. Will a full strength Bills Oline be enough to slow down or contain the Colts run game?
  4. Don't be so fearful of the Colts. It's not like they are a powerhouse. I get its not a great match up but the Bills can compete and beat them.
  5. Are you really confident the Bills can go into a cold Foxboro Gillette Staduim and beat the Patriots? Sure the Bills can win but they certainly will be under dogs. I don't understand how we Bills fans can be confident going into the game. Hopeful yes...i have little confidence that our coaching staff can match the Patriots coaching staff. Allen needs to be Superman for the Bills to win. He certainly is capable of wearing the cape. We will see soon enough. First, let's take care of business vs Carolina.
  6. If the Colts win and then the Bills lose to New England the Bills chances of making the playoffs go down substantially. The Colts win will knock the Bills out of one of the wildcard spots. Be careful what you ask for.
  7. Chargers are a very good team. I think they are very dangerous. They have two remaining games the Broncos and Raiders which will not be easy. Agree they aren't a lock. As for flaws, they aren't good at stopping the run, have a young inexperienced coach, and they just seem a little green. However, I would argue that the Bills are a more flawed team then the Chargers. The Chargers Oline is much better than the Bills. The Chargers have a guy named Eckler who is very dynamic and knows how to score tds. The Bills don't have anyone close to his caliber. Also, their pass rush with a healthy Bosa is much better than the Bills. Charger team is formidable and arguably a better team than the Bills.
  8. You make a good point. At this point, I think im ready to settle for a playoff appearance. Anyway and anyhow. You never know what can happen. However, under any scenario it's difficult to think this team can make a deep playoff run. The lines have to improve somehow whether by schemes, making changes, or better execution. Come playoff time in colder weather the battle of the trenches will be even more important. I doubt Allen will be able to carry this team on his back. He needs help especially vs playoff teams. Thus far, the team is 7-6 with medicore and inconsistent play; especially since the break. Heck, look at the Tampa game. From game to game and now half to half I really have no idea what Bills team is going to show up. Last year, I felt excited and confident about the team. This year feels vastly different. A few things that give me hope. The way they played vs Tampa in the second half. It was the Josh Allen show! We need to see more of this with more Beasley and Davis. Timely and effective runs and misdirection plays. McKenzie should be playing. His speed is an asset. Secondly, there doesn't seem to be a dominant AFC team. KC is looking very dangerous. All other teams seem beatable on any given day. Go Bills
  9. Yes. I think the point is thinking and saying the Bills might or will lose isn't welcomed. Even if it's backed up with reasonable articulate facts and opinions. Issue is the original poster could have elaborated on why. Then it becomes more credible or at least more easily disputed.
  10. The young draft choices certainly haven't delivered. Epanesa just plain sucks. Oliver is Ok but not consistent or dependable. Certainly, not living up to his draft pick. Is Basham even on the team? Who is he? Hughes is pathetic and getting top dollar to do nothing. Rousseau flashed early and has now disappeared. Edmunds is terrible and not a starting lb. Star is often injured and not reliable. Besides Allen, Beane and the Bills brass has largely whiffed. However, getting the franchise QB is undeniable the biggest and most influential game changer. It was a brilliant risk reward scenario. You gotta give them credit beyond words. It almost makes you forgive their misses which every team has.
  11. That's fair. The Bills are weaker than very good teams in the trenches. Offensively, they fail to adequately protect their franchise QB and can't or don't run effectively. On defense, stopping the run including the home runs and generating a consistent pass rush is a resounding failure theme. It's very hard to beat quality teams with such line weaknesses. Thus, the Bills are 7-6. If Allen doesn't play phenomenal the Bills chances of winning are vastly diminished. At this point, it's hard to imagine the Bills lines are going to be vastly different and effective. Imho, the line issues will be exposed even more in the playoffs ( assuming the Bills make it there). It's really a recipe to lose. Most would agree the game is won in the trenches.
  12. I agree get into the playoffs and see what happens. Allen can carry The team pretty far. Let me give you my viewpoint. They have played poorly against good teams. Pitt they got dominated in their home opener. Colts destroyed them enough said there. The Pats won the game in the trenches and didn't even pass literally. The Titans beat the Bills. Defense couldn't stop them. Bucs game lost again. You can make excuses but good teams find a ways to win. This team is 7-6 which is extremely disappointed to me. I really thought we had a legitimate chance to make a super bowl appearance. Not sure how anyone can say that after 13 games into this season. Sure anything can happen and I'm still hopeful the Bills can finish strong, make the playoffs and win games. Thanks appreciate it.
  13. I get it. It's safe to say good teams make the playoffs. How is the Bills team at playing good teams?
  14. A voice of reason. How refreshing... Like the optimism but I don't think the Bills win out. 14 weeks of data suggest otherwise. Exactly! I need to see more than one half of good play.
  15. I just don't think the Bills are good enough and or consistent enough to win out. We have a body of work (14 weeks) that says otherwise. Add in the loss of Tre and a less then 100% Allen. I don't think they have a "great shot" to win out. Sure the schedule is favorable but this is a team that lost to the Jags.
