  1. I don't think you are wrong. It's hard for me to put my finger on it. He just disappears in too many games. I'd only be interested if the Bills could get him at a discount which is very unlikely.
  2. Beasley is an asset to the team. He knows the system and makes clutch plays in critical situations. That will be difficult to replace. Letting him go won't make the team better. It will be difficult to replace him with a better quality slot guy. Not impossible but difficult. I'm hoping Beasley stays.
  3. I agree. I wouldn't pay Kirk big money. He's a one trick pony whose had a few big flashes here and there. I'm not impressed with him. Grab Hayward as a stop gap and draft a wide receiver. Win win.
  4. The 7 million is too much. However, the above discussion never talked about salary.
  5. I'd give up our 4th round pick for him. A 4th round pick isn't much.
  6. It depends on if he's healthy. Can his body hold up? I don't care about the cheap shots, his Patriot past, or his big mouth. A somewhat healthy Gronk I would welcome. He is a leader, a winner, and can go a long way to lead the Bills to a Super Bowl victory. If the Bill's Drs clear him; then bring him aboard for a decent price. The Bills are in win now mode and Gronk fits this mentality.
  7. Saying Allen regressed early in the season. Questioning his ability.
  8. I'd like to see that Bill.
  9. I'd rather have Penny. Penny was outstanding the latter half of the year. The kid is young, hungry, and a dynamic runner. Only real concern is he seems injury prone.
  10. Great breakdown and post! I agree 100%.
  11. Agree and that's why many think the "bust" label is accurate. The term is relative and ambiguous in how it's interpreted. Kind of like the legal term " probable cause." What makes you think he is good? What does he do well? Anyone? Shed blocks? Coverage tight ends? Rush the passer? Tackle running backs? Contain gap control? Rush the passer? Get ints and fumbles? Make big plays? This year I watched every game and 75% of the games I'm not sure I heard his name called. Forget he was on the field. You think you would see and hear from your LB often. Maybe I'm missing something...
  12. I happen to enjoy his website. I don't always agree with his takes and opinions. Generally speaking, I find him knowledgeable and credible. I appreciate his bluntness and how he's not afraid to to take a stance. This is exactly what he did with regards to the Edmunds comment. I really don't see it as "click bait." I completely understand that others disagree with his analogy. However, it does have merit and validity. Just my two cents.
  13. Good at letting running backs block him and missing interceptions. That's a start.
  14. This post is anything but "Lost." It's spot on and I agree 100%. My only concern is the Bill's do have some more pressing holes to fill. I see Edmunds as a "stop gap" LB.
  15. Agree 100%. At this point, Edmunds is not even close to the player Flecther was.
  16. Nothing about him screams elite, game changer, or frankly dependable. His play is inconsistent. Imho, he's more a liability than a asset. Many games you never even hear his name called. He gets blocked by running backs and lineman which he cannot shed to make a tackle. Routinely gets burned in pass coverage. Look at how many sacks and ints he has. He doesn't make big play with the exception of missing his gap where an opposing RB runs for 40 yards. I think I've been impressed with two or three games he's played as a Bill. Additionally, he doesn't seem to be a leader. The guy has pretty much under preformed in every area. Sure he's young and can improve. I just don't see it. He isn't the type of LB that leads defenses to championships. I think he's a stop gap kind of player. Hope that helps.
  17. I'd do cartwheels and backflios if the Bill's get him at 25. Instant upgrade from Edmunds.
  18. I agree. Edmunds is a sub par to at best average LB. Over the years, I can remember only a handful of games where he's actually impacted the defense in a positive way. After a Bills game, how many times have you said wow Edmunds had a really good game? Not many for me. Mostly, he's non existent, misses his gap, never pressures the QB, and cannot shed a blocker to save his life. Perhaps, this is being a little too harsh. The term " bust" is relative and subject to interpretation. What's clear in my eyes is that Edmunds has under preformed, not even remotely close to being a game changer, is more of a liability than an assest, and definitely not worth the money he's getting. Frankly, I wouldn't mind seeing Edmunds go.
  19. Why kick it in the end zone when you have Siran Neal?
  20. Not sure why people are clamoring for a first round WR? If last year proved anything it was the Bills defense wasn't up to the task. They have holes at CB, LB, interior dline, and lack of a consistent pass rush. I think some younger guys will step it up. However, my pick is a CB if his the BPA. Allen and all his heroics couldn't get the win with 13 seconds left.
  21. I'll take him over McCaffrey. He knows how to get into the end zone too. He isn't worth that. He is overrated imho.
