  1. That's why a dynamic speed burner receiver is a great asset for this offense. There are a few in this draft I'd rather go this route than the Hall route.
  2. I don't think he will be that effective in the pros. I just don't see elite skills on tape which transfers to the NFL. I think he is serviceable but not the answer for Buffalo. Think good Oline and Allen's arm and legs. That's what the Bills offense is all about. It certainly won't be about Hall if he's drafted at 25.
  3. I don't see what you see in Hall. I don't think his game transfers into an elite home run hitter as you seem to portray. They passed on Dobbins who looks to be one of those types. So much for the Beane philosophy. To boot he drafts Moss who is anything but a home run hitter. Beane's words aren't backing up his actions at least when it comes to picking RB. Frankly, the Bills haven't been stellar at drafting that position Hall is projected at beat to go last 1st or 2nd round. There are many question marks on what type of pro he will be.
  4. You are correct about not taking it to the house. I should have clarified they picked Duke up to be the Bills third down passing RB. I don't think the Bills need a home run passing running back. That would be a luxury and a bonus. Motor has proved to be very good with good Oline play. The offense will be fine as long as Allen stays healthy and the Oline blocks well.
  5. They got Duke Johnson for that.
  6. I'd trade up for Booth if it doesn't cost too much.
  7. Nice analysis. Agree on the the corner vs an injuried WR. Depth and development should always be considered. I get that and agree. However, the idea of getting one or two studs to take you over the top is equally appealing. Look at the Miller pick up and Diggs signing. I suppose when you are an elite team like the Bills; you have to weigh the two and make quality decisions.
  8. We've been waiting for Edmunds to step it up for 4 years. Granted that's an over statement. However, it's pretty clear what Edmunds is. It's not like he's in year one or two. I doubt he plays much different than what we've seen. He's average and clearly not a game changer.
  9. Generally speaking, I don't disagree. However, the Bills are in a great position to make a super bowl run. Thus, they are in a win it all mode. All those picks in the lower rounds aren't likely to contribute to the win it all theme. Maybe, I'm wrong thinking that? I'd much rather have them trade up in rounds 1 to 3. Personally, I'd love to see Sauce or Stingly in a Bills uniform. Unfortunately, I think the price is just too much. That's fair.
  10. "Draft is stronger outside the 1st round" Really? I don't think this is accurate by the very nature of the drafting process.
  11. I'd rather have fewer picks with higher quality guys. The Bills don't need to draft 10 players who can't contribute much. We are only a piece or 2 away (if that) from hoisting that Lombardi.
  12. I don't mind a scenario where the Bills trade back, get an extra pick(s), and select Hall in the 40s range. I don't think it's a smart pick at 25.
  13. Well said. You took the words right out of my mouth. 👍
  14. Singletary proved to be pretty good the latter part of last season. Singletary will do well if the Oline continues to run block well. Plus, the Bills added Duke for some pass catching and Moss has room for improvement. Is the Bills RB situation elite? Obviously no. However, there is no need to pick at RB at pick 25. I'd be more in favor of a dynamic WR vs Breece. Then perhaps get a RB in the latter rounds for depth and competition. My hope is Booth is still on the board at 25.
  15. Maybe he can get some mental health help and come back a new an improved person. His football game doesn't need much help. I'd welcome him to the team for a low price. If his mental health deteriorates then just cut him. No big loss. Get it done Beane! The Bills offense would be unstoppable.
  16. Can the Bills get him on the cheap? Maybe, a prove it you can stay out of trouble discount. AB would significantly increased the Bills Super Bowl chances. Didn't he get along well with his teammates? Seemed like he just didn't like Arians. I know it's not a Beane move and too risky. Still fun to kick the can sort of speak.
  17. i like booth oops both of those picks. I'd be pretty happy with those picks.
  18. I don't see many mocks that have him taken before the Bills are on the clock. I exgerrated myself with saying "huge." I stand corrected but I still feel it's a reach.
  19. I think both will be gone. I really like and respect Cosell's takes. He is very knowledgeable and seems to do his homework. I was surprised by his Olave take.
  20. Love Gardner but that's just too much to give up. I doubt the Bills will do it.
  21. I'm ok with Hall at 44 and the loss of a third rounder next year.
  22. No way is he the Bills 1st round pick. That would be a huge reach and Beane doesn't take do that.
  23. Add in how many big plays has the guy made in 4 years? It amazes me how people are still in his corner. If you like mediocre LB as first round picks then I get it.
  24. I don't want to sling mud at anyone. People here know I've been plenty wrong on my takes. For example, earlier last year I thought Allen was regressing and questioned his eliteness. Boy was I ever wrong!!! Clueless for sure... It's easy to get enamored with an offensive weapon like a RB. So I get where people are coming from. However, the running back position has changed over time. Sure, there are exceptions but clearly Hall isn't one of them. With that said, the general rule of thumb seems to be wait on getting a quality RB. The position really doesn't warrant a first round pick especially in this draft. In essence, you are correct about the "clueless" statement. I just don't like the terminology.
