  1. Bills played well. Good to see Keenum play well. The Bills executed, got to evaluate players, got the 1st team some playing time, and stayed healthy. Mission accomplished. However, let's keep things in perspective. Denver used the whole game to evaluate their non starters. The Broncos played nobody. As a result, I think we shouldn't lose focus of the Bills goal. The score is really secondary and the lop sided win means very little.
  2. Moss is looking healthier and more explosive in my humble opinion. You can never have enough quality depth. Trade these types of players will not be worth the draft pick you receive.
  3. I get that but you have to look at his body of work. The guy has consistently under preformed. He played poorly in the Colts game vs back up units. This was his time to prove himself. He couldn't do much with Brady which is a big red flag. Thus far, training camp reports indicated inconsistency and subpar play. I get the glass half full thinking. However, he hasn't given me much to be optimistic about.
  4. Sweeney is just OK. He's not they dynamic TE the Bills really want. OJ looks to be pretty bad. If he couldn't do anything with Brady that's a big red flag. He's probably been the biggest disappointment thus far. I don't see a turn around in play.
  5. Me too. He looked solid and has a lot to learn. The game didn't look too fast for him.
  6. I don't know about that. Keenum played mostly against the Colts 1st framers while Barkley played against the 3rd framers. Let's not get carried away here. Barkley isn't very good and Keenum should be serviceable if Allen can't play. Fact is the offense will be in bog trouble if Allen is out for any substantial amount if time. The defense will probably have to win the games.
  7. I'm on the OBJ bandwagon. Allen will only make him better.
  8. I'm more concerned about how healthy he will be throughout the season. He is very injury prone.
  9. Agree here. I love Milano but he seemed to drop off last year. Let's see how he performs and if he can stay healthy. Miracles do happen...
  10. I agree. I can't see the Bears making that kind of trade.
  11. Sullivan was always the half empty kind of guy vs the half full guy. For that, he had always received much criticism. Some deserved. Personally, I've always enjoyed most of his articles. They always seem to bring a reasonable point of view although it's negative. His articles are well written and stirs debate and discussion.
  12. Come on. Just another example of the Jerry hate. His whole article was spot except for a cherry picked section. Then you truly take what he says out of context. I don't think he meant it in a literal way. Following the theme of his article, the sentence does make sense. We fans including the older ones have suffered though much pain and false hopes. I think he's saying today's youth who never experienced the pain have no idea how lucky they are to see, watch, and witness true Allen stardom.
  13. Like like the Bills don't have an easy path to the AFC East title. Miami has vastly improved and Tua looks legit. The Pats will be better with a year under Jones's belt. Add in a brutal Bills schedule too. With that said, of Allen remains healthy the Bills should win the division.
  14. Is he married? Have children? Does he suffer from any kind of mental problems like depression? Does he possibly have a drug and or alcohol problems? He's an imperfect human being with issues that need to be addressed properly. Football is secondary here as much Add that hurts. Get well Dion!!!!
  15. Ok thanks. I'll call back in a few weeks.
  16. I called them today. I'm already getting $50 off a month for 12 months due to me threatening to go to dish. Today, the loyalty rep told me the standard NFL ticket was I believe $293. She said I could pay that in 4 monthly installments and she would take additional $20 a month off my bill for 12 months. Thus, off setting most of the NFL ticket price. I refused the offer and politely asked if I was under contract. I knew I wasn't. She said no I wasn't and I replied ok I'm going to look at my choices. Thank you. She responded by giving me the $20 off for 12 months with no NFL ticket. Good and bad I guess. Maybe I'll just have to go to the bar to watch the Bills games. Good thing is they have 4 or 5 nationally televised games. Any advice? Maybe try again in a few weeks? I doubt I will get it now. Maybe a couple of weeks into the season?
  17. I think this makes sense but it does come at some risk. Imho, the Cards weren't really the ones with the power. They really had no plan B. They went all in with Murray. Case in point was the ciachbthey hired. At least they are swinging for the fences sort of speak. Risk and reward. Remember, Allen was a big boom or bust guy when drafted. Most thought he couldn't develop into an accurate QB. So who really knows with Murray. When he's on a roll the guy is hard to stop. With that said, no way no how does he deserves that kind of money.
  18. They are taking a huge risk on Murray. He's still young and has lots of room for development. His legs are elite no doubt. He is their future so I get the signing. Ideally, waiting out another heard would have been better in many ways. However, Murray clearly would have bern unhappy about that. Perhaps, a distraction of sorts. Perhaps extra motivation. Hard to say. I do like Murray much more than Lamar.
