  1. Pretty sure he can't be worse than Wilson. The problem with Wilson is multifaceted. His oline sucks, Hackett is unbelievably a bad coach, and Russell is playing like an old man. What made Wilson so good was his legs. His running, extending plays, and hitting the long ball on the move. Now suddenly, he's trying to be a pocket passer, doesn't use his legs to extend plays, and doesn't run. This version of Wilson is terrible. You saw it tonight and for the first 5 games of this season.
  2. Can Wilson be arrested for robbery?
  3. Gambling certainly has its pitfuls. The business has definelty changed from the old bookies, runners, and football cards. Most people will lose over the long run. The " sharks" or better none as the gambling pros can and do make money over the long one. They have a huge bankroll and unlimited access to computer generated stats and outcomes. Their bets are based on computer generated input and outcome. It substantially gives them an edge over the average better. Of course, they don't always win. Also, for me it's important to maintain that I'm enjoying myself. One time as a kid many years ago I made $100 bet on a game. It was a lot for me. Too much!!! I watched the game and was a nervous wreck. Cursing and throwing things. Needless to say I lost and learned a great lesson. Don't bet beyond your means. My best win was playing a 10 football parlay in Tijuana. Back then it only paid 250 to 1. I had $10 on it and won. A very rare occurrence.
  4. Singletary is the clear number one. He's serviceable or better and he's got a great rapport with Allen. Duke would be the number 2 to relieve Singletary and the 3rd down back. I think he's better than Moss and way better than the rookie Cook. Especially, if you want immediate help. Cook looks like he's a project. Do the Bills have the patience and luxury to let him grow? Thus far, he's been a liability.
  5. I play fanduel. They have weekly fantasy football. Entries are from 5 cents to thousand if dollars. It pretty fun but very hard to win big big money. Its possible though. I play single entry big tournaments for $1, and $2 entries. Also a bunch of .5 and .25c entries. Depending on where you are at you can play draftkings or Fan Duel thats like a regular sports book. Like others said, you can play parlays that pay well. Risky but if they hit you can turn small money into a big chunk of change. If you end up signing up for either shop around for the best promotion. They are always offering some good ones. They promo is a little sneaky though. They gabe me a free $100 when I started way back then. They matched my initial deposit. However, the gave me the money in tiny tiny increments over a year. Smart on there part because you just can't take their hundred and run. Not sure if they still do it this way. Good luck Virgil. For me it's fun and entertaining. I started with $100 and have like $185 in my account. One time I can close to winning 1k on a Basketball tournament. Went from winning 1k to winning $75. One thing is the tournment pay outs are very top heavy.
  6. Bring up Duke Johnson. He still can contribute.
  7. Oh I agree. I'm not talking about Beasley in its current form. He's beat up, small, and lacks the quick burst. It was time for him to go. I was just saying the good version of Beasley was pretty good. He made some big plays.
  8. This is a downgrade from a healthy Beasley. He was clutch for the Bills in big time 3rd down plays. Disregard his outside behavior. On the field he was very good for several years.
  9. Bills 34 Pitt 24 Not really close. Pitt gets garbage TD to make the game look close.
  10. Do you really think Beasley moves thw needle much?
  11. I agree about bringing up Duke from the practice squad. I want Cook to be "the guy" but he's clearly not ready. The NFL game looks to big and fast for him. The Bills are in win it all mode. I think Cook doesn't advance us in this category. Moss just is not the answer. I think he's replaceable. Duke has experience and can catch the ball out of the backfield. I think he might be the second best back the Bills have. Sure he's not great but I think he can contribute more than Cook and Moss.
  12. I don't think he's ready for the NFL and especially the Bills defense at home. I think he's in for an eye opening experience. Pre Draft, I never really liked Pickett. He's not terrible but he's not elite either. He was probably more like a 3rd or 4th round worthy selection. However, we all know how QBs get massive pumps up for obvious reasons. The Steelers had to do something because they didn't have anything at QB. They talked themselves into the local kid.
  13. Burrows beat Mahomes last year and represented the AFC in the Super Bowl. Once their Oline starts to gel they are going to be dangerous and formidable. I think Allen and Mahomes are ahead of Burrows in the talent area. Both their arms are bigger. However, Burrows has elite receivers and knows how to lead a team and win. I wouldn't count out the Burrows lead Bengals.
  14. It's a pretty big game. It could decide home field advantage for the playoffs. We all know how important that is. Also, it's a pretty good measuring stick for both teams. One thing I think I can say with confidence is the Bills now believe they can win in Arrowhead. That goes a long way to actually winning. If Mahomes plays like he did on Sunday night it's going to be a huge task for the defense. I was surprised at how balanced their offense was. Bills offense is still a work in progress. Lack of running and WR injuries are concerning.
  15. The Chiefs offense was at another level vs the Bucs. They just shredded an excellent defense. They were able to gash them on the run which is really hard to do against the Bucs. Mahomes was fantastic moving, improvising, and spread the ball around. Reid with his goal line plays were unique and successful. I thought the Cheifs were going to take a step back without Hill. It's only one game, but last night I was in awe of their offense. Hopefully, the Bill's can beat the Chiefs.
  16. Davis is playing hurt. A healthy Davis is a very formidable 1-2 punch.
  17. Come on now. Both are very good coaches. Their track records validate this. This game won't come down to coaching. The Bills are the superior team. A slight coaches edge to Tolim if he has any won't produce a win for the Steelers.
  18. I don't think anyone had interception based into the equation. The old rule of math says at home you kick the FG and hope your defense makes a stop.
  19. I could clearly see the Ravens letting Singletary score. However, I was upset he went down at the 3 or so because that didn't give the Bills a first down. If they stopped the Bills in the proceeding play(s)they still would have had some time on the clock to get a FG. When Allen got the 1st down then the Bills could and did run out the clock. Am I right in my assessment?
  20. Milano and Edmunds were instrumental in stopping the Ravens. I thought Shaq was an impact player. Von had a sack but he was a little off in his rushing. Saw him very wide a few times. Maybe I'm wrong. Also, on the fourth play I believe it was Shaw and Rosseua pressuring Lamar. My brother said Von wasn't even on the field for that play. Anyone have a guess why not? Maybe because of the run threat?
  21. For sure the refs made some poor non calls. I felt there were several holds on the Ravens they missed. However, I'd prefer to move on as I beat a dead horse to a pulp. Not a good look. On to the Steelers who the Bills should smash. Oh how I would love to see a blowout, Cook development, Shakir catches, and several sacks, etc...
  22. To be honest I an not familiar with a lot of the posters on here. I often scroll through the posts pretty quickly unless one grabs my attention. I'm really not aware of Einstein's behavior whether good bad or indifferent. I have a hard enough time taking care of myself and my posts. I'm really not here to defend or offend anyone. I just like good knowledgeable football talk.
  23. To be honest I don't know because I don't follow posters.
  24. I know I get that. I get over passionate about football and the Bills. I'm trying to improve my behavior. Also, sometimes I try to force my opinion on others. Another flaw of mine. I took the advice of posters who rightfully pointed out my inapporiate insistent responses. It too me far too long to shut up. I thank people for doing so. I don't take things personally here.
  25. I hear you. I mean people have differing views. Not sure why anyone has an agenda here. That seems bizarre to me.
