I guess we will disagree. I think your premise is way off here. The Bills should do everything to win. There is no saving plays here. All plays are on the table. This holding back or don't tip your hand mentality is a recipe to lose. If the Bills get up big they should continue to throttle KC until it's plainly obvious the game is over. A big lead isn't safe against KC. Bury them with every play imaginable. In fact, I would agrue the opposite. Use a gadget, trick, unique, and new plays to go up big if that's what it takes. It's no holes barred on Sunday!

The keys to the Bills offensive success is giving Josh time to throw, having a running threat and some success, and not turning over the ball. As much as the Oline get maligned, I believe they are tops in the league in pass protection. Jones, Dunlap, Clark, etc will be a challenge. I agree that if the Bills "play their game" and execute they should be successful in moving the chains and scoring. Another huge factor is how each team does once in the red zone. Tds instead of FGs will be huge. I also expect to see several 4th down calls throughout the game. I think both coaches will be aggressive and let their star QBs do what they do.

Disagree. You don't save anything for the playoffs in week 6. You play to win and call any play that gives you the best chance to win. This game could be the deciding factor for a playoff bye and or hone field advantage. It doesn't get much bigger than that. I expect coach McD and Dorsey to pull all the stops out to win.

I don't disagree with your logic. However, the Giants are 4-1 and Barkley is the major reason why. I think it's safe to say the players think they can make the playoffs. The fan base is so happy. Daboll has built a winning culture there sort of speak. Cutting Barkley loose at this point would send a horrific message to the players and it's fan base. I don't see it happening. Carolina with CMC is a more viable move.

It is more and bigger than that. We have seen how the lack of running or threat of running negatively affected the Bills. Think 2020 season. Without a running threat defenses can more easily prepare their defenses. I think the Bills run game will be adequate enough to keep defenses honest. Will it be enough vs the Chiefs? Who knows? I think the Bills will have designed runs for Allen thia game, have a few more RPOs, and screen passes. I also think Josh will take some shots damn field to Davis and Diggs. Wondering how will the Chiefs play Diggs and Davis. Clearly, they took Diggs out of the game and Davis burned them. Will they deploy a similar strategy? How do the Bills manage Jones and his pass rush? The guy is scary good and can turn around a game quickly. How in the world do they slow down Kelce?

I mean it can go both ways right. Look at the Bill wins. LA looks bad, Tenn barely beat Wash and looks average, Balt is good but not great. Barely hung on to beat Cinci. Pitts just stinks. I think this is the game that the Bills injuries will really rear it's ugly head. The KC offense with Mahomes and Kelce are so dangerous. Reid will haveca great game plan to attack the Bills holes. Bill's should be able to stop the KC run. Phillips health is a big deal too. The Bills need to force KC to throw. The pass rush has to be relentless, disruptive, and (contain as much ad possible) Mahomes from running. I'd go back and look at the Tampa tape and the Cinci tape. If Fraizer sits in a bend but don't break defense the Bills will get shredded. Conversely, the same can be said for the Chiefs. Strange...

Does it really matter? A win is a win no matter the margin. Just ask the Raiders. Your point is really kind of strange. Where do you get the Bills have "potentially an historic team?" What does that even mean? I'm pumped about the game and think the Bills are slightly the better team. However, KC gets a huge home field edge too.

This game is truly a toss up for me. So many factors and variables are in play many known and unknown. I think it comes down to poise, execution, and which QB is more spectacular. We can analyse the players, critique the lines, secondary, pass rush, etc... Of course you have to. It's about who executes better. I think on paper the Bills match up well and have the more talented players. This is a great test for both teams. No doubt every NFL fan will be watching the game. I'm pumped just thinking about it. A loss will ruin my Sunday and I will have a hard time sleeping. A victory and I'll be sleeping like a baby. Either way the Bills are in good shape at 5-1 or 4-2. I just dread having to go to KC in Jan. for a playoff game in KC. I hate the fan noise the Bills have to deal with! Let's go Buffalo!!!

No doubt the game is going to be a chess match. Back and forth and lots of adjustments I suspect. I think both coaches will be aggressive on offense. I think we will see several 4th plays. I think Reid is a very good coach but he does make mistakes. He made a huge mistake going for 2 instead of kicking the extra point. Then dummy McDaniel goes for 2 with 4 minutes to go. Coaching can make a difference in this game.

I disagree here. I believe that KC will be able to pressure Allen with Jones, Clark, and others. I have little confidence that the Bills can effectively run on KC. Thus, this game is on Allen's arm and legs. He is more than capable of carrying this team on his back. However, it's a tall task in Arrowhead. The fans and crowd noise is a huge advantage for KC. The Bills offense can't afford turnovers. Both teams really know each other well. The Bills run D is much improved. A healthy Phillips and company should prevent an effective KC running attack. Thus, the Bills can and hopefully can get to Mahomes. Just like Allen, Mahomes is so good and difficult to stop. Think 13 seconds... I've been wavering back and fourth on who wins. I don't see a blowout. Both teams are just too well coached and both QBs will preform at an elite level. That means neither is likely to be stopped. Flip a coin here. Go Bills!!!! Great post.

I'd like to add: (1) can the Bills RB effectively run on the Chiefs? (2) how do the Bills stop Kelce? (3) Will Elam and the Bills young inexperienced secondary finally be exposed by Mahomes? Thus far, the raider defense has pretty much sucked. I don't see them stopping KC tonight. Confidence or just foolish homerism? I hope you are right. I'm not as confident the Bills defense can stop the Chiefs. The Chiefs absolutely dismantled the Bucs defense which is fantastic stopping the run. Mahomes was on a different level. Reid and the offense was precise, unique, creative, and looked unstoppable. Hard not seeing Mahomes exposing the Bills young secondary. The Bills need some players to get healthy quick. Need Poyer, Philips, and Oliver to ball out. This needs to be a dynamic Von harassing Mahomes all game. The Bills with Allen should be able to move the ball. I think we will see Allen running the ball more. I think it gives the Bills the best chance to win. I don't think the traditional run game is capable of threatening the Chiefs D. This is going to be a great measuring stick for both teams. Wish we were playing at home. Chiefs are at home so I think that makes them a 1 to 2 point favorite. The Chiefs will be the best team the Bills have faced this year. Neither team could stop one another last year. I suspect an offensive shootout here.
