  1. Puts them right there for a super Bowl run if that defense can get and stay healthy. Also, just have Jimmy G throw less than 20xs and hand off that rock.
  2. In my case, sometimes the blind squirrel finds the nut.
  3. He improves the team immediately. However, can he stay healthy? What impact will he have on keeping other players?
  4. It would be perhaps an unstoppable or ad close as you can get to an unstoppable offense.
  5. What you are saying is he will take a Bills discount. We will see. I think it's unlikely.
  6. Hard to say what other teams might be willing to give up for CMC. The rumors of multiple first rounders are pretty absurd. I don't see any team giving up that for a CMC with his injury risk and a devalued RB position. So I think it's plausible that 2nd round picks are in play. How good would CMC be in San Francisco's run scheme?
  7. The Bills don't need CMC. Sure he would add another big dimension to the offense. However, I'm not an advocate of giving up multiple first round picks. CMC isn't exactly reliable when it comes to his health and he is going to want to get paid. That salary will effect what the Bills can do next year. The Bills chemistry is really good. Singletary is better than average and can produce at a high level in big games. He played well in KC. I believe Beane will only go after CMC at a reduced Bills favorable price. That price is going to be below the Carolina bottom line.
  8. McKenzie is much better against teams that play a lot of man coverage. His speed is utilized best in this coverage vs zone. Shakir looks to be a better zone coverage WR. His early sample size shows he finds the holes and weaknesses in the opposing zones. Moving forward this should be an interesting watch. I think the Bills are in a decent position because both guys can produce. I suspect the Bills will start using Knox more in the pass game too. He just hadn't been heathly. Similar to the Davis situation.
  9. Their coaching is really bad too. Their best offensive player RB Jones is not touching the ball enough. Like you stated, the defense is playing poorly. Rodgers in a press conference stated they need to keep things simple. I interpret that as him not trusting his receivers and handing the rock off more. Tough way to win without a dominate defense. The Packers look to be in some serious trouble.
  10. Every year there are teams that surprise and over exceed expectations. The Jets are clearly one of them. In the end, I don't think they can keep stride with the Bills. Nevertheless, I think we have to keep an eye on them and cheer for Jet losses. I don't think we can automatically mark down a win when the two teams meet.
  11. It was painfully obvious he had a poor game. If he continues to play poorly I'm confident coach McD will make the right moves. Shakir had looked pretty good in his limited role.
  12. Milano clearly played well. An under the radar player was Edmunds. I really didn't notice him but he was credited for 10 tackles. Wow.
  13. Trivia: Q: How many Chiefs has Allen jumps over? A: 2 one last year and one yesterday.
  14. This is kind of obvious but not sure it's been talked about or given its due time. That drive in the final seconds of the first half was unbelievable! It was absolutely one of the catalysts to the Bills win. The Bills were at their own 1 or 2 yard line with a third and long. Allen kept his poise and I believe hit Gabe for the first down. From there it was a big throw to Diggs and a bomb to Davis for the TD. Boom just like that. A failed 3rd down at the 1 would have really changed this game.
  15. I think McKenzie is serviceable. He lacks consistency. Yesterday was obviously a bad day. He can and will make some big plays and step it up. My take is the Bills are waiting for Shakir to develop a little more. Slowly give him experience. By playoff time, I wouldn't be surprised if he over takes McKenzie in snaps. The Bills are in a pretty good situation here.
  16. I was really impressed on how they were able to do that. They made it look easy. I like that stat guy raising his hands when the Bills scored. Kind of goes under the radar.
  17. I'm sure there will be some little pitfalls here and there. It's a long season and grind. The players are human. However, I'm confident this team will be ready to play each week. They are on a mission. Those 13 seconds have ignited a firestorm. Imho, the only team that stops the Bills from winning is themselves. I can taste that Lombardi Trophy. Sorry for the rant. Too early for this...
  18. That's some good inside look at professionals doing their craft. Thanks. I've never seen it from this perspective. Pretty cool. What a job they have. I know it's not easy but part of me would love to do that.
  19. I was shocked when I saw Diggs' stat line. That had to be the quietest 10 catches 148 yards and 1 TD. Smooth as silk. My son asked me if Diggs is a top 3 in WR un the NFL. My response was I'm not sure. But I'd say the QB and WR duo of Allen/Diggs is in the top 3 for sure. Yesterday was euphoric. That's with sub par quarterbacks too. Hill has exceeded my expectations. I thought it was Mahomes that made Hill. Seems like they both complemented each other nicely.
  20. Hall looks great! However, Elam was the right pick. Too bad the Bills didn't move up to get him. I'm sure they tried and looked at all the options. However, Shakir and Benford look to be great drafts. Likely they may have not gotten either in a move up in the 2nd.
  21. I like the play. However, does anyone feel like the NFL should look at changing the rule? I believe they have made that play illegal only inside the 10 yard line.
  22. Agree with the Bills D. My pre game thoughts were the Bills will win because they have a clear advantage on defense and WRs. What surprised me most wasn't the QB play. It was the defense of KC. They held up better than I thought. It took Superman Allen and several Batmans to pull out the win with a minute to go. Some will say the Bills made self inflicted mistakes. I get it but still the Chiefs D has to get some credit. What a game. I think sometimes we look at stats too much.
