  1. If they were good they would have beaten the crappy Patriots at home. They are average and Wilson blows as a QB.
  2. Tua looked good. Hitting guys in stride, using his legs, and standing in the pocket delivering passes under duress. He's not Allen but the Dolphins can win a lot of games with him, Hill, Waddle, Mosert, and Giesicki.
  3. It's been years since that tragic incident. The guy has no been in trouble since. Not justifying his past action because it's horrific. However, I think he's a different person and I'm willing to give him a shot.
  4. I'd like for the Bills to sign him for a 4rh or 5th round pick. That happened years ago and he's stayed clean. I want that Lombardi Trophy and I think he gets the bills closer to it.
  5. Agree 100%. Right now, it's not super clear how much his impact or lack of is having. However, come playoff and if we meet the Chiefs his impact will really be missed. Hyde is a stud. You can't replace what he does and what he means to the team.
  6. I agree it's not the type of move Beane makes. I'd be very surprised if they acquired him. It would be an instant upgrade to the Bills RB. If the Bills do their due diligence and he checks out I'd welcome him to the team. Everyone deserves a second chance.
  7. If he went to therapy, is remorseful, apologized, and changed his behavior then I think he deserves a second chance.
  8. Fair post. That type of game wins at a HS or college level. However, it won't win consistently in the NFL. The defenses are too good and that system is just too basic. Offenses need several threats, weapons, and a variety which keeps defenses honest. Fields doesn't have it. However, your initial post is correct about the Bears and Fields. They are trying to make him a pocket passer which he is almost certain to fail. I'd go a step further and say that's an issue with Hackett and Wilson. Wulson no longer uses his legs to run and extend plays. That would allow him to complete big passes down field. He can throw the ball too. Denver has used him solely as a pocket passer. Bad coaching.
  9. I don't think a team is willing to do that. You basically have to retool your whole offensive system to do that. Think the Denver Broncos and Tim Tebow. It's just a very very difficult way to win. Not really mondern day football. It's almost like a college like style that really doesn't work in the NFL. Lamar is pretty successful but he too has limitations. They have been exposed in the playoffs vs good teams. Fields is not an average passer. He is not going to be starting for long.
  10. Very good explosiveness and pass catching back. He knows how to find the end zone. Something the Bills don't have currently unless you think Cook develops or they bring up Duke. He'd be an upgrade imho.
  11. Lots of unproven assumptions here.
  12. He's a likeable young man. I wouldn't mind him doing well if he wasn't in the Bills division. The guy realistically should have been drafted in the late 2nd to 4th round. Since he played for Bama and was hyped up he obviously found a home in Miami way way too early in the draft. What a collasel blunder. However, it's easy after the fact to say. Look at Baker, Rosen, Bradford, and the numerous Bills misses. The Dolphins have to give Tua a chance because of where he was drafted. Brian Flores could see Tua was not the future and he was ousted for not playing Tua. I suspect after Tua's rookie contract he will be out of football or a nice back up story. The guy just oozing of mediocrity. So true. However, the bottom line is winning and im sure the Miami fan base is singing his praise and being optimistic. We Bills fans did it with Trent Edwards similarly.
  13. True but the team is 4-0 with Tua starting. Not sure what it's worth but they win when he's in.
  14. The blueprint is already out. Pitt didn't do anything special. Tua is limited in what he can do. Other teams know their offensive system is quick passes primarily between the numbers. The real issue is stopping Hill and Waddle. Both are very explosive. Tua's passes were off for the most part and didn't hit them in stride.
  15. Time to place s nice eager on the pack to win the NFC!
  16. No I wasn't impressed. Miami looked pretty bad. The Chargers, Jets, and Balt didn't look great either. Also, it's more important how you look going into the playoffs not week 7. Thus far, KC and Buffalo look like they are in a league of their own. I hear you but there's something to the team wins when Tua is under center. No one is focusing on Tua's poor play so long as the Dolphins win.
  17. No. I think Tua sucked tonight. Not sure anyone can say otherwise. What I'm saying is the team somehow wins when Tua is under center. You saw it tonight and against the Bills. Not likely to be sustainable.
  18. No need to see the stats. My eyes saw Tua play. He sucked and was well below average.
  19. Yep. I can see them making a run. They believe in Tua. A win is a win.
  20. Miami keeps pace in the wild card race. They go to 4-3 tied with the Ravens, Bengals, and Chargers.
  21. No you can't trust Tua and Pitt has done nothing to think they can get a TD from inside their 20. Punt...
  22. Magically bad but he's casts a spell on the other teams. They can't intercept his bad throws.
