  1. I didn't see the original thread. If it's there sorry about this thread
  2. Let's start the thread. Big game here and Bills injuries still loom large. Assuming Josh can't go and Rousseau and Poyer already ruled out. Tre looks like a no go to. Edmunds is up in the air. Milano back with help greatly. The game script has to change for the Bills. This game won't be a slugfest or a high scoring affair. I don't see much success with longer passes. The Bills defense with the crowd's help needs to step it up big time! Pressure Kousins into making mistakes which he is more than capable of doing. With that said, the Bills D has to prove it can stop Delvin Cook. No doubt they will be taking a script from the Packers and the Jets. We will see if the coaches have made adjustments and the players can execute and tackle. My confidence isn't high that the Bills can contain Cook. The other two big weapons are Jefferson and TJ. This is no small task for the injury riddled Bills D. On offense, the Bills have Keenum at the controls. How can anyone feel confident and comfortable this guy can navigate the Bills to victory? I can't remember when he's played a meaningful game. With that said, the Vikes major weakness is the secondary and longer passes. Exactly what Keenum's strength isn't. I believed Bills will try to establish the run with mediocre results. This team is not a "pound the rock" team. Thus, it's going to be a quick short passing attack. This will be a tough way to win. Teams often step it up especially on defense when their QB gets hurt. We all are hopeful this is the case tomorrow. It's certainly possible and the home crowd advantage will help. The Vikings know how to win games. The Bills win games at home. I have little to no confidence in Keenum. I do feel like the Bills D steps it up and forces some big turnovers. I'm taking the homer route here. Bills 20 Vikes 17
  3. Line down to 3.5 pending Allen news. When Allen is officially out the game will pick a pick em.
  4. Justin Jefferson stat line 8 catches for 109 yards and a TD. Delvin Cook 139 yards rushing, 38 receiving and 2 TDs.
  5. I agree with the INTs he's gonna throw. Just a matter of how much and if one is a pick 6. People don't kid yourself Keenum isn't good.
  6. I think the Vikes are better than the Bills in the trenches. Not sure how the Bills slow down Cook without giving big plays to TJ and Jefferson. Not sure how the Bills offense will move the ball on the Vikes. Their weakness is their pass defense and Keenum can't throw the ball long. Will the Bill try to run and if so will they be effective? Seems like Keenum is a walking pick 6 because I think the DBs try to jump the routes.
  7. 100 % agree here. Hard to feel good about a Bills led Kennum, injuries, recent issues such as the Oline, and the run game on both sides of the ball. People can point to strength of schedule and opponents teams have played. There some merit to that however it's very difficult to win games in the NFL. The Vikes are 7-1 and that's evidence of a team that knows how to win and close games out.
  8. I just think the Josh Allen playing talk is silly by now. It's Keenum's time to shine. Bold prediction is Keenum 300 yards passing with 3 TDs. Bflo Cook outshines his brother with a rushing and pass catching TD. After this game the controversy will be do the Bills let Allen sit another week or play Keenum.
  9. In my eyes it's pretty clear Allen is not playing. He hasn't touched the field all week. Many seem to be holding on to false hope. Folks look at the evidence. We all know coach McD isn't going to tell us anything but vague statements. Keenum will have to not lose this game because he's not going to win it. The Bills defense is going to have to win it. It's possible but it just got harder with Poyer and Rosseau out. How do they stop Cook? Jefferson?
  10. With all respect, I hope you can get back to giving us your write ups and thoughts on the game. It was and still is one of my favorite threads on here. However, I know time is precious and we all get busy.
  11. Maybe we can have a Cooper Rush and Dak like discussion.
  12. The huge difference makers are Thurman and Bruce Smith. This current team of RBs aren't even worthy of folding Thurm's underwear. Bruce Smith was a game wrecker that you absolutely had to game plan for. The lines were vastly better and clearly more consistent than this current Bills team. Tasker was elite on special teams. The 90s WR core is by far better as well. Beside Diggs this team has really no one who is proven or cobsistent. Allen can do more the Kelly. I agree there. But it was Kelly's ability to lead the team and win which distinguishes him over Allen. I'll put it this way. When the game was on the line you knew Kelly would lead the team down the field to victory. With Allen, you just don't have that level of confidence. Sure the game is different but in a vacuum the 90s team was special, elite, and it showed with 4 straight super bowls. What has the current team accomplished? In my mind it's not even remotely close.
  13. Disagree strongly. Hall of famers on the team of the 90s: Jim Kelly, James Lofton, Andre Reed, Bruce Smith, and Thurman Thomas. I'm sorry there is no way no how this current team is close to the Bills teams of the 90s. Thomas was unbelievable on every level. I'll take a Bruce Smith over a Von Miller of today. Reed is a better version of Diggs. In the trenches the 90s Bills were by far better. Bennett was a game wrecker. That 9s team hands down was/is better than today's Bills. I'm not sure how you can't see that.
  14. I'm fine with resting Allen. Get that body and mind of his healed up for the next winning streak. Stronger arms, legs, elbows, and mindset.
  15. I haven't seen it. Joe Marino on his YouTube Locked on Bills commented it was a horrible call. He's a very good source of reliable information.
  16. Did you see the Bills play in the 2nd half vs the Packers And the Jets game? It's not like the Bills are thriving on all cylinders. They made Zach Wilson look like a seasoned QB and the Jets WRs made nice short catches. The Jets running back thrashed the Bills too. I'd dare to say the Kousins, Cook, Jefferson, and TJ are a much more daunting task. Add in no Allen and Bills injuries. That adds up to a difficult task for the Bills. Good thing is Bills play well at home, hoping some injuries guys return, and others step up because Allen is out. A better total team effort is needed because Keenum isn't going to win this game. Coaching and game planning will be crucial this game.
  17. However, he is capable of making a play or two to win a game. That's what he did last week.
  18. At home it's certainly a game the Bills can win. Should they win is a much harder question. Delvin Cook is a top RB who may just continue attacking the Bills suspect run D. Jefferson is a top 5 WR who the Bills have no one to stop him. The newly added Hockenson is dangerous as well. Cousins isn't elite but he's experienced. The Bills D had to rattle hom into mistakes. He is capable of sucking at a higher rate than lots of QBs. The Vikings Defense is pretty good. I believe they are around 10th in sacks and kind of play a bend but don't break defense. This will be no easy game for the Bills to win especially if Allen is out. A Bills win will require a rally of better team play on both sides of the ball. Winning in the trenches and playing a more conservative game. Almost like the Jets did to the Bills.
  19. Allen didn't look right throwing the ball vs the Jets when healthy. Just saying...Sit him for a game or 2 and let him get healthy and clear his head and eyes. Casey can throw equally bad INTs too.
  20. Time for me to put some money on the Dolphins and Bengals. No way am I laying money on +275 for Buffalo. Those odds suck. Not saying Buffalo won't win it just saying from a betting point of view those odds aren't good.
  21. I voted four (4). The Bills have always been very conservative with getting guys back from injuries. Look at Tre for a nice example.
