  1. That's changing the scenario. I never advocated that either was going to happen. You defended the win out post. So put up or .... up. Nice try though.
  2. Just because it's a Bills fan website doesn't mean you should lose all reality. How bout this anyone can DM me if they would like to pursue a friendly wager on the Bills winning out. They have a good chance of losing on Thursday.
  3. Oh no doubt it cuts the other way too. Negativity or constructive criticism should always be bolstered by reasonable opinions and facts. Pure trolling or hatred for the Bills should be equally challenged and criticized. However, things here aren't equal. The negative posts here almost always get undue resistance. For example, look at this thread. It's premise is ridiculous yet most here don't challenge, question, or criticize it. What if I started a thread on how the Bills might lose out or lose most of their games? Another ridiculous thread that would get shredded to pieces and rightly so. See the point? I just wish the board was a little more realistic with a more balanced views or good and bad. I know the more popular view is to praise the Bills and be optimistic. I get it. You must not know football if you think this team is going to win out. It is outlandish and unrealistic to think the Bills win out. I'll stand by that statement all day everyday.
  4. It cuts both ways. The Bills lost close games but they also won close ones. They could have easily lost to KC and Detroit. Right? With regards to Allen it all depends on his health. Obviously, he is hurt and a less than healthy Allen makes it extremely difficult for the Bills to win. Add in Hyde and Miller and it becomes even more difficult. No one knows how healthy any of these players will be. Predicting a Bills win out at this point is just crazy and laughable. Blinded homerism for sure. There is nothing to suggest this team wins out. As a realist, I'm hoping the Bills can win the division. Hope KC stumbles. Most of all the Bills get healthy. Most of us are diehard fans. Being a die hard fan doesn't give you a pass to say outlandish ridiculous post without valid construction criticism. Sure anything is possible but let's get real here. The Bills have a morsel of a chance to win out. I think most prefer more common sense post than blind homerism.
  5. These are the kind of posts that are ridiculous. I mean talk about hedging. Saying they can win out or go 4-4. With that logic can you say they can lose out too?
  6. It's ok to agree with me. Sometimes, I actually make a little sense.
  7. Maybe I need to take this class?
  8. The game has changed sir. Here's some QBs that disagree with you. Proof that running QBs can play well, run and run and run, and don't increase their chances of getting injured. Like I said the game has changed and QBs aren't getting hit like before. I believe statistically a QB has a better chance of getting hurt dropping back to pass vs running. I trust Allen to make solid decisions running and his body sure seems able to hold up to the hits he takes while running. (1)Jackson (2) Fields (3) Murray (4) Hurts (5) Jones (6) Mariota (7) Watson
  9. I'd like to give a shout out to the Bills organization for the unexpected addition of Sam Martin. He has been outstanding averaging over 48 yards a kick with several kicks inside the 10 yard. What a great reliable punter.
  10. Thanks for that information. I failed to do my due diligence. However, I still don't think the comparassion is valid. The game has changed dramatically to protect the QB since the Newton days. Also, there is plenty of controversy on how the refs and the league allowed vicious hits on Cam time after time without penalties and or fines. Additionally, Allen has proven to be a durable runner. I get the cautionous with Allen. Totally respect that. I don't want him to be reckless and take unnecessary chances for injury. However, I don't want to take away a great weapon of his which are his legs. Pleads for him to be a pocket passer and only run when it's a must isn't what I'm looking for. I'm more than ok with designed Allen runs and RPOs. This just makes defending the Bills O that more difficult.
  11. Disagree with the Cam analogy. Cam ran the ball well deep into his career. The game was much different back then too. The league allowed big hits to Cam. Cam's career was shortened because he wasn't an accurate passer not because he was shot because of his running. When he played in NE near the end of his career he was still running well. Agree on improving the Oline and letting the running backs run a bit more. However, I don't want to take away Allen's legs. I trust Allen when he takes off and runs. Sure I cringe but thus far hes proven to be durable.
  12. I want the Bills to win. The best chance for that is to unleash Allen which includes his legs. That includes designed runs and RPOs. You don't limit a QBs talents and thus limiting the team's ability to win. I'm getting tired of the constant don't let Allen run BS. You have years of watching Allen run without injury. The guy is durable and can take a hit. I mean should we say don't let him pass because he might get hurt? You do know the odds of him getting hurt are dramatically more when he drops back. Did he hurt his elbow running? I'm not advocating reckless running. Look at the Detroit game. After the Diggs catch they ran two fantastic designed Allen runs to get Bass an easier FG. Please people stop with the don't let Allen run crap. Allen isn't Tua. Play to win don't play scared.
  13. That would be fantastic.
  14. I'm sorry if you didn't like or agree with what I said. Instead of asking derogatory questions why don't you tell me what I said that was inaccurate.
  15. They are 9-2 with sub par WRs and RBs. Have the best QB on planet earth and an unstoppable TE. One is the best Olines in the league. A sub par defense that is beatable. An experienced and creative coach especially on the offensive side of the ball. They are proven winners who know how to win and have a ring to prove it. I could careless about a "world beaters" mentally. Not long ago the Bills were the "world beaters." Everyone was on their jock. I loved it!!! The media attention, props, love, accolades, positives, etc. The Allen MVP talk...It was intoxicating. I never once complained about it. In fact, I wanted more. How about you?
  16. Dolphins cruise to an easy win over the Texans. Tua pulled out of action in the 3rd quarter. I think it's time to seriously think this team is for real. Not really a Tua believer but there's something about him. He is a winner and the players believe in him. He brings out the dawg in his players. Tua as a Dolphin primary starter is 8-0. Couple that with great coaches and two outstanding WRs with a formidable defense. No doubt a new rivalry and tough challenger for the Bills for years to come. Never thought I'd say it but he could win the MVP if this continues. What a story that would be. It's time to give Tua credit.
  17. A good oline would be great for Allen to have. Maybe Beane might try to work on that a tiny bit more in future drafts and pick ups. Saffold has been rather disappointing.
  18. They are the team to beat in the AFC.
  19. Imho, the offense is out of rhythm and out of sync far too much. The offense doesn't seem free flowing. Too many times I see it as a struggling offense. Not horrible, but nowhere near elite or close to what it needs to be come playoff time. Largely due to Allen's injuries, play calling and scheme, offensive line injuries and weakness, inconsistent WR play, poor red zone execution, inconsistent running, and turnovers. The Bills have a month and a half to figure it out. If not they will be watching Mahomes playing in the Super Bowl again.
  20. Listen to him regularly. He's one of the most knowledgeable Bills person out there. The guy is very fair with his takes and breakdowns. Agree on a tight game here. As for Dorsey and his game plan I remain skeptical. He doesn't seem to go to the type of passing game you are referring to.
  21. I really fail to see how coaches won the game as premised in the thread. I saw a Lions offense that moved the ball up and down the field. A defense that once again struggled on 3rd and long situations. A team that wasn't good defending the red zone and let an easy walk in 2 point conversion. On offense, the Bills were very inconsistent and out of sync for many parts of the game. They had several chances to go up 2 scores and failed to do so against a porous defense. Their inefficiency allowed the Lions to stay in the game. Spencer Brown was getting beat by a practice squad player. Add in another red zone INT. The Bills barely did enough to win the game. I'll take it and move on to NE! They were very fortunate to get the win. Allen and Diggs made the big play. I give the coaches little credit for that. Fraizer made some nice blitzes that forced Geoff into bad throws. Good thing Geoff sucks under pressure because their WRs were wide open. Mahomes or The won't miss those throws. The team was resilient and gutted out a win. I thought the Bills coaches were average at best. I saw nothing that indicated they won the game. In fact, I thought the Lions offensive play calling was very good. Mixed in the run and pass with creative motion. Created several one on one situations to their advantage.
  22. Has to be hard to play with one arm healthy.
  23. He needs to get healthy. Romo was spot on saying Allen is hurt.
  24. Are the Bills are winning despite their coaching? I will address the question. I'll be more specific about the coaching. Dorsey is clearly learning on the job. Do you give him a pass because it's his first year? Numerous times he has abandoned the run game. He has failed to reign in Josh Allen in regards to his turnovers. Daboll was able to call safe plays to dail back Allen . Dorsey just hasn't put Allen in the best positions to succeed. This is week 12 and I really struggle to find the identity of this team? This offense struggled to beat a Browns and Lions team. Both defenses are terrible and in the bottom of the league. Sure circumstance were extraordinary which includes injuries. Bottom line is the team won. I totally get that. Yes the organization including players and coaches deserves credit. However, that doesn't mean that they aren't subject to criticism. Right? To prove my point, can you comment on Dane Jackson's play? If you haven't noticed he is getting exposed game after game. Dorsey has been mediocre at best. On to Leslie Fraizer. He clearly has a very tough task with all the injuries. The defense is a shell of itself. Truthfully, he hasn't had a healthy defense since game one or two. I believe he sticks to his scheme to a fault. That's knit picking for sure. I give him credit for selling out to stop Chubb and he actually dialed up key 4th quarter blitzes vs Geoff. Two props to him. Geoff wasnt good enough to make the Bills pay. He missed open WRs. Under the circumstances, I think Fraizer has done a really good job. On to coach McD. I'm not one to question the guy's character or heart. He's a Buffalo mold type of guy. I've really really liked him for a longgggg time. However, the 13 second disaster has dramatically changed my mindset. I'm stubborn, old, and hold onto blame far too long. Fast forward to this season and I have mixed feelings. I have failed to see many great in game adjustments and halftime adjustments. Was McD close to losing the team? That Diggs interaction was really a testimony to both Diggs' and Coach McD's character and professionalism. However, it seems as though he has fallen short and been out coached in many games. Once again, winning cures everything. When a team is 8-3 it's a very difficult to criticize coaches. Add in injuries and the extraordinary circumstances and it becomes even more difficult. It's ludicrous to call for anyone's head. McD has built a culture and still knows how to motivate the players. That McD post game Lions speech choked me up. It reminded me of why I like Coach McD so much. In summary, this is a crazy season in which injuries have been the Bills main enemy. It reared its ugly head again with Von. The team, coaches, and players have been tested like no other season. The fans expectations rival that of the Bills team of the 90s. Reflecting and seeing my expectations were too high. I totally thought the Bills had a direct and slightly easy path to the Super Bowl. Assumed the team would be relatively healthy like the last couple of years. As a frustrated fan at times it's easy to blame the coaches. Sometimes it's easy to call for change. Bottom line is the Bills coaches are very very good.
  25. It's great guys seem to be getting healthier. However, I can't help but think who's next to get hurt? That's just the way it's been this year. Beg to differ about the injuries that occurred in the Lions game. How could you not think losing Von for 4 to 6 weeks at best isn't terrible? There still is a chance he may be out longer, how effective will he be If he returns?, etc... I'm sorry that more than sucks in my eyes. The Bills could have picked him 2 rounds later.
