  1. Agree but this Bills offense is confusing to me. What is their identity? Early in the year they were explosive. After 5 games, they were the number one offense in plays over 20 yards and long TDs. That's all but disappeared. Running is erratic and inconsistent. Anyone have a better perspective on this offense?
  2. That's fair. A lot of football to play. Right now, the Bills are right there with KC, Cinci, and Miami. I'd say the top 3 AFC teams to beat are KC, Cinci, and Buffalo. Maybe I shouldn't say that because "I can't analyze things I cannot." If I'm allowed to say, I do think the Bills have a chance to go to the Super Bowl. Imho, they don't look to be playing Super Bowl caliber football despite their wins. To clarify, that's what I'm saying. I stand by that statement. Hopefully, the team will improve, execute, and play excellent football when the playoffs begin. Currently, I love the Bills 10-3 record and number 1 seed. However, I'm not satisfied or content with the way the team is playing on many levels. Perhaps, I am seeing things through the wrong lens.
  3. That's fair. Lots of football to play. A lot can happen from now to playoff time.
  4. Today the defense played well. However, it was against a mediocre Jet offense, a career back up QB, number 2 WR hurt, best RB hurt, Bills at home, and cold/rainy conditions. Nevertheless, they stepped up and were a huge part of the win. Hope they can do the same to Miami.
  5. I get that. Many on here aren't crapping on the win. I'm so happy and at peace this Sunday because of the win. I can't help but to be realistic about the team. It just doesn't seem like a Super Bowl team despite their winning. I guess it's all about how you see things. For example, look at the 10-3 Minn team. How many think they are a Super Bowl team? Tenn Titans Number 1 seed last year. See my point?
  6. We must be watching different games. I never felt like the Bills were going to blowout the Jets. They had chances to close the game and didn't. May I ask you about the Jets jumping Offside on 4th and 1? That "gift" lead to a Bills TD and a 7-0 halftime lead. Does that configure into your math equation?
  7. That's not the way football works. You can't play woulda, shoulda, coulda. What if the Jets didn't jump Offside on 4th and 1? See that's my point! I thought I saw him playing in the 4th quarter? Maybe I'm wrong.
  8. I don't disagree with what you are saying. However, it does cut the other way too. One could call out the garbage and hyperbole on so many here calling Bills blowouts and easy wins. Happens week after week. Of course, that wouldn't be seen in a positive light here. I suppose somewhere in the middle is more accurate.
  9. I do give the Bills credit for being able to win tough close games. That shows their experience and toughness. Need that come playoff time.
  10. That's not the way it works. Drops, inconsistent WR play, and a porous Oline has been a pretty consistent theme for many games now. A 30 point offensive game seems like a thing of the past. At least, that's what I'm saying.
  11. At some point it seems like these weaknesses will be exposed. I keep waiting to see that explosive Bills offense that started the season. Can they get there? I don't think so. The gap between the teams have dramatically closed. The difference which is big is the QBs.
  12. Love the win and wins. No doubt about that. However, they do come with a bit of disappointment. Maybe I'm placing too much expectation on the team. I see a team that has gut out difficult wins game after game even vs less than good teams. Each week seems like a dog fight to win. I see a struggling offense with a lack of identity, weapons, and consistency. Lastly, I'm not sure how this defense holds up to explosive elite offenses. The Miami game will let us know if this team is a pretender or contender sort of speak.
  13. 100% agree with this. Josh did what he had to do. Was he great? No. Was he bad? No. He made some plays with his legs and arm. What I liked the best was no turnovers vs that defense in the rain.
  14. Williams and Davis getting hurt surely helped the Bills cause. Williams was being a game wrecker. I'll take it
  15. OMG, McKenzie with a huge drop. Keeps the Jets breathing.
  16. What a response by the Bills! That's was some great play calling folks.
  17. It's the eye ball test. Rankings don't mean poop. Think Tenn last year.
  18. Won or lose this Bills team stinks. Sorry that's how I feel. No way in the high heaven does this team go to the Super Bowl.
  19. Great offensive drive by the Jets. They made their halftime adjustments.
  20. Disagree. He played pretty poorly. Of course, it's not all on him.
  21. I liked the punt because I was not confident the Bills O would make it.
  22. This is the exact type of game the Jets wanted to play.
