  1. Agree 100% but the offense hasn't really clicked on all cylinders since early in the season. Don't we all agree? Yet, the Bills keep winning. That's a testiment to how good the team is. As a fan, I would really like to see a more dynamic, explosive, and consistent offense. This will most likely be needed to make that playoff run. I miss the long bombs to Davis and Diggs. The current offense seems to really have to work hard for every first down, yardage, and TDs. I ask how many times in the recent games did the offense have a chance to close the games out? Det, Clev, Minn, NE, and the Jets off the top of my head. The lack of offensive fire power enabled these teams to hang around. Of course the bottom line is winning and the Bills are winning.
  2. I hope so. The Bills were 2 for 13 on third down conversions yesterday. The Jets D isn't the 85 Bears D. The Bills offense has to improve.
  3. Sullivan's premise is 100% correct. His question or comment could have been more toned down and worded differently. Another poster said it well. I'd would like to focus on what Josh said. This Bills offense has been playing complimentary football. Not wanting to put the defense in bad situations. Not my words but Allen's. Those statements do tell us the mindset of Allen and the offense. Sullivan and others missed an opportunity to really question those statements. I have no issues with media asking the tough questions. I agree but Rex Ryan is a jackass.
  4. To a certain extent you are correct. However, teams have strengths and weaknesses and that cannot be ignored or washed away on a game by game basis. Of course, game plans change and are dependent on several variables like weather, injuries, and the opponent. As a Bills fan, I'm happy the team is winning games. I don't think the team is hitting on all cylinders. Josh himself said the offense is playing "complimentary football" and doesn't want to put the defense in bad situations. Is that a glowing statement of confidence? At some point, the offense is going to have to be more consistent, dynamic, and explosive. There is no doubt this team is very good and capable of representing the AFC. No team seems to be truly elite and unbeatable including the Bills. The team is experienced, tough, and gritty. Good teams find ways to win despite not playing their best. I believe that's what we are seeing in the Bills especially on offense. Winning heals everything. However, at some point it feels like the Bills need to find a new gear offensively. It is a week to week game but it's also important for teams to hit their best stride going into the playoffs. We have seen that proven to be true. I'd sure like to see this offense hit its stride come playoff time. Complimentary offensive football probably won't get it done.
  5. Also, you have to put some pressure in Tua and make him go through some progressions. All game, Tua was out of rhythm.
  6. Only after he finished with Tua. The guy just doesn't shut up!
  7. Agree the Pats don't scare me. They aren't in the same league as the Bills even if they aren't on their A game.
  8. Is it bad for me to hope Tyreke's ankle injury keeps him out of the game on Sat? I'm having those thoughts.
  9. Not worth the risk and the price you would have to pay. But I'd take him over OBJ in a heart beat.
  10. Keenan Allen is elite when he plays. Take a look at his injury history. Probably one of worst in the league.
  11. You realize Allen is always hurt. I mean always!
  12. Chargers can't blow this now can they?
  13. Two guys the Bills have to game plan for is Wilkins and Phillips. They are disruptive on the defense.
  14. Hurts just locked up the MVP. Congrats to those who bet on him.
  15. Disagree here. Don't confuse a laid back attitude with lack of passion or a desire to win. Often they Chargers choke job isn't on Herbert. I'd say it more of an organizational issue, a culture of choking, coaching, etc... Herbert does get some of the blame too.
  16. Anyone feeling the game slowly slipping away from the Chargers?
  17. I think their defense isn't that bad. It's their offense that stinks right now.
  18. I hope the Bills coaches are watching the Chargers defensive scheme. They are swallowing the Miami offense. The Charger defense is not good and Derwin James isn't playing.
  19. Perhaps but I really didn't see it that way. I saw an offense struggling to move the ball. Drops are part of the game. The offense had zero points with a minute or 2 or so to go in the 1st half. The Jets gave the Bills an early offside Xmas gift. Most likely the Bills offense would have scored no points going into halftime. I'm sorry they have to play better and hopefully they will. I'm pretty concerned about the offense. Not since the KC game have they looked right.
  20. I can't help but think the choke Chargers will lose this game. They should be up by 20.
  21. No doubt he was told to take care of the ball. Agree there. Since that KC game the offense has really changed. The Bills are no longer a quick strike long strike offense. Often they have reverted to long long drives 10 plus plays and numerous third down conversions. That's a hard way for the offense to make a living. My confidence in the offense has really gone down. Seems like they are trying to find their identity. Sure there are some legit excuses like weather. I guess im not used to seeing this kind of offense from Allen and the Bills. I expected the offense we saw in the first 5 or 6 games of the year. Hoping they can get that kind of swagger back.
  22. Do you think that elbow is effecting Allen's throws? Maybe he can't feel the ball as well?
