  1. Look at the Chiefs and how they have remained elite. They concentrated on forming an outstanding oline. Got rid of the best WR in the league for am abundance of picks. Surrounded their franchise QB with mediocre Wrs and Rbs. Now look at the Bills.
  2. He looked like Tom Brady vs the Bills. Wouldn't you agree? The Bills generated some pressure. He escaped the pressure and ran or throw a dart to his pass catchers
  3. That's more than fair. As for myself, I would take Allen over Burrow without hesitation. His physical traits are one of a kind. However, Burrow has a certain it factor that's very difficult to put into words and measure. I think this is where he has the slight edge on Allen. A winner in college and led a team to the Super Bowl with an awful oline. Now likely to appear in another Super Bowl. Watching him last Sunday reminded me of watching Tom Brady. Wouldn't you agree. How he read the defense and with precision picked apart the Bills secondary. I told me son wow he reminds me of Brady in real time. Meanwhile, Allen was missing passes to a wide open Diggs for a TD. Sure he was under pressure but he still has to make that pass! With better team help on the oline and more weapons I can totally see Allen outshining Burrow. Problem is can and will this happen. Until them Allen's talent and accomplishments will be stunted.
  4. I agree but one premise is flawed in your argument. The defense vs Cinci was terrible. Cinci scored at will and the Bills could not stop them. The Bengals scored 5 tines in their first 7 possessions. One of those possessions was when the clock ran out at halftime. Cinci ran the ball with ease add well as passing with ease. The defense had no answers. You fail to see that Cinci was burning the clock in controlled methodical precision. The Bills pass rush was ineffective vs a 2nd string oline. With that said, I agree with your premise. The Bills should focus 95% of their attention on the offense. Try to outscore teams. The defense is not reliable. Anything you can't out of them is a bonus. All in on the offense!
  5. Don't lie to yourself. The Bengals have a lot more player talent than the Bills. They are light years ahead of Buffalo in the WR category. Obviously, both their lines are by far superior than the Bills. At this point Burrow is better than Allen. Hate to say it but he looks almost flawless when he plays. The guy knows how to carve an offense, escape pressure, and lead his team to big wins. He's a winner! He's not as physically gifted but I believe he's a better all around QB. He looks Tom Brady like while Allen looks like Brett Favre. High risk and high reward. The Bills are better on special teams. That's about it.
  6. You don't see a lot of holes? You have to be kidding me. You are as good as your last game. Did you see the last game the Bills played? Both lines got destroyed, the Bills secondary couldn't stop the pass and the line couldn't stop the run. The Bills offense scored 10 points. The best WR for the Bills was Cole Beasley. I did like the Bills punter though. The guy gave the Bills zero production. When he sniffed the field he was bad. The pick was a huge reach and never made sense. Stop trying to see the glass half full here because it's empty.
  7. I doubt he has a breakout season. We have seen him for several years now. He is what he is. (People have been saying the very same thing about AJ.) He's not worth 11 mil. He's too light in the butt and often gets pushed around at the point of attack. He's average at best. However, he's one of better DL men the Bills have. Says a lot about how inept the Bills pass rushers are. Beane has really screwed the poouch in this area.
  8. Great perspective. Agree a play caller but the other in depth needed skills aren't there. The Bills offense paid a deep price for his inexperience and lack of depth. Bills offense was excellent in 3rd down conversions. I'd agree it was more Allen's credit than Dorsey. That down is known as the QB down for a reason.
  9. I agree but good teams find ways to win. Cinci was down 3 ol starters. They manhandled the Bills DL. Mahomes played on one leg and KC still won. Miami had a 3td string QB and almost beat Bflo. Buffalo had a healthy Allen and Diggs and were at home. Experienced players and coaches as well. The Bills result was abysmal. That doesn't all fall on injuries. Something has to chamge or it will likely happen again next year. I'll be looking for upgrades in the team and coaches as well.
  10. The regime is great a building a program. Building a winning culture and going to the playoffs. I have confidence they can win regular season games. Make playoff appearances. The regime had yet to show they can even get to an AFC final game and obviously the Super Bowl. I have serious doubts they can achieve this. Yes there are way worse organizations. Watching the GM's and coache's final season press conference was not vote of confidence. They seem to not be in unison nor on the same page. Not a glowing recipe for success. So feels like the Bills organization is on the down swing. Six playoff appearances is really nice as well as AFC east titles. As Josh Allen say he wants to win the Super Bowl.
  11. Even when he dailed up blitzes they were gobbled up by the Cinci 2nd string offensive line. Look at what Anarumo dailed up. Timely exotic blitzes coming from various angles and getting to Allen. To be fair, I don't think any scheme or coaching up was going to lead the Bills to a win. They Bengals were and are better than the Bills by a lot. The gap is really big and even good coaching probably doesn't close it enough. Burrow looks like the next Tom Brady, their WR combo might be the best in the league, Anarumo is an elite D coordinator, Mixon and Perine are moons better than Singletary and Cook, their pass rush and Dline is better, and their Oline isn't great but it was vs the Bills. I'm done with Fraizer too. I've seen enough to know that his scheme and defenses are nice for regular seadon games. His stats will look great to very good. Come playoff time his defense will not get it done. Its really that simple. Sure it's not all on him. I'd rather go down swinging with an aggressive defense. Look at how Miami went ultra aggressive vs the Bills. Also, I'm not a believer in Dorsey either. I know Josh gave his blessings so that was likely the decider to hire him. However, why go with a rookie OC who had accomplished very little when you are in win it all mode? For most of the year the offense struggled to have an identity. Was it a quick passing team?, a methodical march down the field and burn the clock offense?, a deep strike offense?, a pound the rock offense?, a playground like offense and let Allen cook? I know each game plan varies depending on your opponent. However, I never felt like the Bills offense with the exception of the first quarter of the season was in sync and in rhythm. The Dorsey offense lacked creativity and seemed predictable. How is he going to be better next year?
  12. Wow! That is the blunt truth at its best. However, Beane does deserve credit too. He inheriented a mess from Whaley. He tore down an inadequate team and built it into a consistent playoff team. We fans were estastic with the turnaround, winning games, making the playoffs, and having a franchise QB. However, the fans and teams expectations have changed. A credit to the organization's success. The Bills were in everyone's top 3 teams in the NFL going into this year. Overwhelming favorites to win the Super Bowl. Beans is now backed himself into a corner with very little ammunition to retool the team. Paying the price his failed DL pick ups. His failure to adequately solidify an offensive line. The lack of weapons the teams has. Lastly, a coaching staff that has clearly become inferior to others especially in the playoffs. You can see the difference between Coach McD presser and Beane. Vastly and starkly not on the same page. Beane is a very intelligent guy. He can clearly see the writing on the wall. He knows the Bills team is likely trending downward. Of course he can't admit that. Instead, he had to give excuses and hope players develop and step up. I can see a total rehaul of the Bills organization within the next couple of years. Especially, if the team doesn't meet expectations. We fans should probably forget about making that Super Bowl appearance next year.
  13. I'd like to ask you when has a Fraizer defense stopped a quality playoff offense? I can't recall one time he has with the Bills. He has failed repeatedly and its resulted in multiple early Bills playoff exits. This year is no different. All teams have injuries and those excuses are just that excuses. Last year it was Tre. This year it was Hyde and Miller. Next year it will be...
  14. Agree 100%. Joe Marino on one of his YouTube videos talked about Beane's previous end of season press conferences. He was anticipating Beane's words. He stated Beane previously said the last game you lose really exposes your teams weaknesses. Something to that effect. Fast forward to Beane's presser and he's done a 180% turn. The red flags are waving. I think this organization is on the downfall. Not a free fall but a slow regression. This team is unlikely to make a Super Bowl run next year. Sure it's a bold prediction and probably too early to say that. We fans have to hope for no major injuries which is not likely. Hope players step up because significant moves aren't in the future. The Bills have gone from Super favorites to playoff contenders in one year.
  15. I think you are missing the point. It's more than a loss to Cinci. The team has major issues on both sides of the line. The Oline and Dline has to improve dramatically. They have only one reliable WR and RB is a huge question mark. The coaching staff can't match up with other elite teams. The team is strangled by cap issues. Beane pretty much told us their isn't much he can do to improve the team. Only hope is the current players step up and Josh Allen wears the cape. It's beginning to look like the Beane McD era has run its course. Their best work is likely behind them.
  16. I can totally see Diggs turning on him next year. Really nice post.
  17. I would have asked Beane if he knew how Josh hurt his elbow?
  18. I think Beane is preparing us for what's to come. He told us Cinci and KC are better than the Bills. He gave us no indication that the Bills can and will be better next season. Instead we got excuses and praise for the coaches. How in God's name can you praise the coaching staff after the Cinci game? Both coordinators got their butt whipped and Coach McD was lost on the sidelines. Maybe I'm not seeing things correctly. I would have rather seen a fired up Beane saying changes are gonna be made, I have to be better, and I look forward to fielding a better team. We will be ready to take on KC, Cinci, and whoever else is in our way. Instead, he placated, made excuses, and gave passes to his coaching staff. You tell me how that's a winning formula?
  19. Beans is insulting our intelligence. Placating us to the max. If core of coaches remain the Bills are going to disappoint again.
  20. I wish someone had some gonads to say that to his face. Beane knows his team is on the downward swing. He hasn't tell the media or the fans this. He gave us a bunch of horse crap today.
  21. I feel pretty deflated. Perhaps foolishly, I bought into the Bills Super Bowl hype. Early favorites to win it all. Most experts and media personnel picking the Bills to win it all. The season couldn't start fast enough. Their was a feeling of being invincible. It was euphoric and intoxicating. I flaunted my Bills gear with a sense of pride especially since I'm not in Buffalo. The season starts and the Bills come out like true "gangsters." Destroying one team after another. Things couldn't have looked anymore promising. The media continued With the Buffalo hype. We the Bills Mafia glued to the TV like a chef working in a kitchen preparing their favorite meal. We were hungry for more. Fast forward to mid season and the wheels slowly started to lose its air. The once unbeatable looking Bills looked vulnerable. Injuries continued to mount, the offense lost its earlier mojo, the defense looked average despite great stats. The team struggled week after week in many categories. Never seemed to put together a dominate game on both sides of the ball. However, they were resilant and won close games. Something the Bills aren't known for. Perhaps, this new formed toughness could lead the team to the Lombardi Trophy? So I wondered... The team faced enormous adversity like never seen before. No need to reiterate them. Suddenly football became secondary. I can take football a little too serious. The old saying is we eat, sleep, and live for football. That came to a crashing halt as tears rolled down my eyes on that unforgettable Monday night. In some ways the images and thoughts still touch me. Not in a bad way but it feels uncomfortable. Praise God for Damar's miracle recovery. It was truly a blessing from above. Words cannot express the euphoria, gratitude, and humbleness I felt. However, slowly the football fan in me moved towards football and the Bills team. In some ways, I felt guilty but it seemed as though Damar and his family gave me their blessings. It was now all systems go. I thought this is fate. It's meant to be. The Bills despite looking suspect continued to win and win and win. They had a purpose and destiny was on their side. The story book ending was being written. No Dolphin, Bengal, or Chief could stop us! We know the rest as the helium has slowly lost its strength...
