Interesting post and a very good perspective. I'm not sure how I feel about the take though. While watching the game, I was very surprised that the Philly D didn't get to Mahomes. Very little pressure throughout the game. I knew the KC Oline was good but I still thought Philly's Dline could severely disrupt Mahomes. Pretty surprising to see Mahomes with so much time. Blitzing Mahomes is usually not advised. So not sure what good options the Eagles had. Maybe someone can give better insight on this. Whatever they did clearly wasn't effective in the second half. In the end, you just have to give credit to Reid and Mahomes. They are just so clutch in big games. They know how to finish. I think we all basically knew by the middle of the 4th quarter that Chiefs were likely going to win. That says a lot about the winning ways and the organization of the Chiefs. Unfortunately, the Bills are lagging behind.

I agree. It's pretty unrealistic to think that the Bills team could have beat either team today. I mean didn't they see the Miami and Cinci playoff games? KC and Philly are much better teams than Buffalo. Next season who knows?

I like going the humble route. I have no issues with Mahomes or Reid. However, T. Kelce rubs me the wrong way.

I get what you are saying. However, Mahomes did everything right in the second half. He led his team to victory. Somehow if it were Allen playing I think your thinking would be different.

I don't think anyone really blames Allen. The Bills organization has clearly failed to build a winner around Allen. They have had 6 years to do it without much playoff success. No Super Bowl or even a sniff at one. I think most are blaming management and the coaching staff. The Allen criticism is a by product of the failed mission of the Bills organization. Now they are severely handicapped by cap issues, pending contracts, poor player development, poor draft choices, and poor coaching. Not an optimal position to be in. Allen is virtually the sole reason the Bills have been so successful. To be honest, the organization has let him down along with its fans. My fear is he's being wasted in Buffalo. How many more missed opportunities await?

Don't get got up in passing yard stats. He was great especially in the second half. The guy is a winner and has the it factor to the max. The Mahomes hate here continues after he put on his 2nd ring. Yet, Allen is crowned the best with not even a sniff of a Super Bowl t-shirt. It's mostly not Allen's fault. The Bills organization has failed him in so many ways. There's a chance that he's wasting away his prime in Buffalo. Like so many on here have said look at what Allen would do on a teams like the Dolphins, Chargers, Jets, KC, Dallas, and Philly to name a few. In retrospect, the game was a lot of fun to watch. Enjoyed it as a football fan. On the other hand, I couldn't help but think what coulda shoulda been.

I can totally see Mahomes challenging Brady's record. KC is a phenomenal team. Mahomes is virtually unstoppable. Congrats to KC and their fans.

Nothing like watching two elite QBs playing in a great Super Bowl game. Meanwhile, the QB on Your team is home drinking a beer and watching the game.

I think you are wrong. Mahomes will have 2 Super Bowl rings very shortly. Allen has zero. I'm pretty sure of you took a poll Mahomes clearly would be the number 1 QB. Personally, I don't think it would be even close. Bills fans have to stop measuring Allen by his physical traits. I think he's the most physically gifted. However, that's not the only measuring stick for QBs. Mahomes arguable leads Allen in every intangible.

Reid miles better than McD. Mahomes better than Allen. KC oline elite Bills oline stinks. End result is Chiefs playing in the Super Bowl. Bills are at home chilling.

Mahomes is in a different league. He's hands down the best.

No that's not it. The point is Hurts had all day to throw and a WR made a nice adjustment to catch the ball. How often have we seen that?
