  1. Let's agree that the Bills aren't as good as every other team because they lose big playoff games on a consistent basis. They haven't even sniffed a playoff game to represent the AFC in the Super Bowl. But wait, they are many reasons why...
  2. Disagree that the Bills are as good as anyone. They have consistently pooped out of every playoff game in the McD era. I will give you that the Bills are as good as anyone during the regular season. The playoffs have illustrated the Bills aren't superior to the upper echolen teams like KC and Cinci. Go ahead and make excuses and believe you lies. I'll believe my eyes and the facts. I will remain skeptical that this team led by McD can get over the hump. I don't buy much this. All excuses. Every team had injuries and circumstances to overcome. The team got waxed at home in the biggest playoff game in recent memory. Out coached by a country mile. Manhandled like men playing against boys. Your excuses fall woefully short.
  3. I'm well aware of that. Thus far, the Bills have been a great regular season team. It wins them AFC East titles. No small accomplishment. The next step forward has been much different in a not so good way. No need to rehash that. Depends on what satisfies your appetite. Many here are fine with great regular season records, winning the division, and making the playoffs. Especially, when you remember the past two decades of Bills play. As for me, I want a Super Bowl appearance and a Super Bowl win. The Bills have a top 5 WB in the league and thus far have fallen short. These last two years certainly seem like wasted opportunities.
  4. Maybe the Bills can win it mainly with their defense? Just need Josh to be serviceable. No turnovers in the red zone.
  5. Can't agrue with you. Both sides of the Bill's lines are not strong. That's not a recipe to win Super Bowls or advance far in the playoffs. It's been the one major failure of Beane and McD.
  6. No crying at all. I like a lot of the Bills moves. Nothing earth shattering due to the cap restriction. Just thinking that the team's weaknesses are plenty and it was impossible to upgrade enough to compete with the two better teams (KC and Cinci) in the AFC. That's not crying. I call it being realistic.
  7. Based on this synopsis the Bills aren't likely to improve enough to compete with the KCs and Cinci's of the league. Look out because Miami and a Rodgers led Jets team are salavating. Run it back and see what happens sort of speak. Weaknesses in the trenches is likely the achilles heel of the team. Team weaknesses still appear to be plentiful. What happens when injuries occur?
  8. Think of it this way. Coach McD is the "Andy Reid" of defense like Reid is to offense.
  9. No doubt. I think the Bills D will be top three in the NFL. Coach McD is the best in the business defensively. We will see it this season. No more defensive playoff gaffes. Thirteen seconds is long gone. The Bengal thrashing was an anomaly. Go Bills. So excited to see McD call plays and kick as$.
  10. I think he can be coached up by McD. Spector should excell in the McD defense. He deserves the opportunity and I think we will be pleasantly surprised.
  11. Aren't you on board with the defensive guru named McD? Why be worried when you have one of the best proven defensive minds in the game? Coach McD is taking over the defense. Wouldn't we expect even a better more dominant defense?
  12. Not sure about this. I think it's time to really start evaluating whether McD is the coach that can get the Bills back into the Super Bowl. Thus far, he's failed to do so. I think It's a fair question. Arguments can be made on both sides of this issue. I like that McD is taking over the D. It clearly puts him front and center. This move will likely accelerate McD fate as the Bills coach. I think that's a good thing. However, I don't think McD has such a short lease.
  13. I agree. The guy is a solid player. I really like this pick up. I suspect it was a pretty cheap acquisition. The safety market seems pretty dry. Correct. It's been reported he had a hip issue. Watch his recent tape. He's speed is fine. Not a burner but it's more than adequate. He's a solid safety.
  14. I like the under. Personally, I don't really like these future bets. So many unknown variables such as key injuries can really effect the outcome.
  15. I think it's pretty safe to say that Vegas made a nice profit off of the Bills odds to win the Super Bowl. People seem to forget that Vegas is a machine to manipulate odds and numbers so they can make profits. There odds for a Super Bowl favorite to win it all are very poor.
  16. They have Miami and the Jets at 9.5 wins. The Pats at 7.5. What a competetive division. I think the floor is a little lower than 10 wins. 11-6 is realistic too.
  17. Have to agree. I wouldn't be surprised if the Bills don't win the division. On paper, the Dolphins are better than the Bills except at QB. Adding Rodgers to the Jets clearly puts them right there vs Buffalo. Both of this teams have no fear or intimation vs Buffalo. After last year, I believe they are confident they can beat the Bills. Not sure they felt that way in several years. A belief in winning and taking the next step is crucial for the chasing teams.
  18. Flowers is small but he looks pretty special. I think he'd be a great addition to the Bills. I don't see him being available at pick 27.
  19. Please see James Crowder as an example. I like the signing. The Bills needs to load up with Olinemen. Protect Allen is priority number one. Beane has screwed the pooch for too long.
  20. Perhaps. I have little interest in this year's defense. This defense blows come playoff time. McD is supposed to be this defensive guru. Let him work his schemes and coach players up. Work with what you have. It is what it is. Concentrate 100% on offense this year. "Let Allen cook." Get him Dhop and better Oline help. I believe this is the best path to a Bills Super Bowl win.
  21. I'd do it yesterday. Beane get it done! You do realize Gabe is likely gone next year. He's replaceable with a younger cheaper more diverse WR. I think Allen to Dhop would be pretty assume. He'd be jard to stop in the Buffalo offense. I don't get the "fit" thinking.
