  1. The Bills can still win without a focused and happy Diggs. McD is running the D. That's an instant upgrade. Guys are coming back healthy and the acquisitions will have a positive impact. Josh is likely to have a better Oline and running game. Dorsey has a year under his belt. The roster is still very good. McD knows how to win under adversity. Everyone relax.
  2. The Bills are stuck with Diggs and Diggs is stuck with The Bills. Get your popcorn ready. It won't be a boring season. We fans will be entertained.
  3. I don't know. We have a preview of a unhappy Diggs when in Minn. Things in Buffalo appear to be eerily similar.
  4. As one poster just responded: I know I am. I lived through most of this team's history. I'd rather be in the tournament every year than not be. For 90% of the Bills existence, we complained about not earning a wild card berth. And here we are agonizing over no Super Bowl. My take isn't absurd.
  5. Hopefully, Diggs will be ready to play and not be a distraction come game time. The Bills really need the best Diggs to compete for the SB.
  6. I don't agree with this assessment. He's merely saying most fans are content with the team's results.
  7. That's a good point. It denitely is a concern and might not be the wisest decision. I happen to think Allen's presence alone almost gives you a playoff appearence. He's that good and makes everyone around him better. Plus, the current roster looks to be better than good. With that said, I think it's more than plausible a solid coach and coaching staff can take over and excell with this team. It's not a rebuild. It's a change that can reap greater rewards. Losing McD and Dorsey doesn't equate to the team getting worse.
  8. He won the SB and he was possibly robbed of one by the officials. He is obviously an aggressive offensive coach. Imho, he's an upgrade to McD. I just didn't like paying the cost to get him. Yes, the Bills can do much worse than McD. Yes McD doesn't suck. Yes McD hasn't done much in the playoffs with a franchise QB.
  9. He should have said " I f'd up in 13 seconds too.
  10. His record is 4-5 in the playoffs. The last few years he's been borderline awful. I've seen enough to move on from him.
  11. It's not about going out on a limb. I can careless if I'm wrong or right. Often, I want to be wrong because of my pessimism. I've been plenty wrong here and have no qualms about admitting it. As a fan, I don't get paid to figure out how a team gets there. That's beyond my pay grade. I will say when a team lands their franchise QB their chances to get to the SB go up dramatically. I will say having a strong Oline is another important piece. As a fan, I can absolutely be critical of why I think the team has fallen short. Imho, coaching is an issue. I've watched McD basically get outcoached, out schemed, out manuerved, and out prepared the last two seasons of playoff appearences. I don't need to see more. Perhaps that's too judgmental. Too quick of a judgement. I get that. I have no problems with others disagreeing.
  12. Be careful what you ask for. I think the writing is on the wall. I highly doubt McD can lead this team to a SB appearence.
  13. Payton and Reich were upgrades or at the very least a needed change. Creative offensive minded coaches that the Bills lack.
  14. I think it's pretty simple. Diggs wants to win. The Bills aren't winning enough. Diggs is unhappy. Diggs doesn't think the Bills can we a SB with Dorsey and or McD. So Diggs is voicing his displeasure. Diggs is going to be a problem...
  15. Just another "explanation" of why the Bills won't make a SB appearence. Beane and McD had no idea their WR#1 would let them down. We all can enjoy the up coming season and realize the SB hopes are basically gone. There's always next year with McD and Beane. It wasn't their fault at all. Fair enough explanation for us fans. Agree or disagree?
  16. He holds the cards as far as the Bills can only fine him. He can eat fines for quite awhile without really feeling it. The Bills cannot do anything else but fine him. In the meantime, Diggs can create massive problems in the locker room. Exactly what he did in Minn. He can state his unhappiness with coaching and management. His words and actions will not go unnoticed by players and coaches. No one knows how this will play out. This isn't surprising based on what we saw last year and his prior history in Minn. To think the Bills are holding the cards here is a mistake. It's Diggs with most of the power here.
  17. Agree 100%. That's why this issue is huge. It completely bucks what McD has built. Diggs as a captain and leader of the team absolutely has a rapport and respect of his teammates. Time will tell what transpires. Not a great look right now.
  18. Bingo! That's the way I see it to. Is it that unreasonable?
  19. It goes 100% against the culture McD had built. For that reason it's a very big deal.
