  1. But won't they add Fluellen back to the active roster tomorrow once he clears waivers since IK won't count?
  2. Do the 4 games on the active/suspended list count long term against practice squad eligibility?
  3. Sanborn??? There may not be a guy on the roster with more job security.
  4. Deadline is Tuesday at 4:00 p.m.
  5. They're at 90 now. Someone will need to be released.
  6. 88 on the roster and why in the world would you not bring the allowable 90 to camp?
  7. before camp begins. Have to believe OL with the losses of Hunter and Williams.
  8. Harvin will stay healthy and be a beast. Long term and hoping - Manhertz. As a Canisius season ticket holder for 25 years, he's a great kid and a freak athletically and physically. A long way to go football wise but the transfer of the skill set from PF to TE is obvious. Box a guy out, get position, and go up to get it. He's my pick as the long term surprise Bill.
  9. Geez. Everyone is going to be able to offer the same thing. He's going to go where he's most comfortable and has the best chance to play. Bottom line.
  10. How many bubble screens in a bunch formation has Hackett called this year? I'm struggling to remember any. Watkins was wildly successful at Clemson with them and it sure would make sense as another opportunity to get Spiller and Jackson (as the slots) the ball in space. May be moot now but wouldn't it have fit into the plan for EJ to rarely go downfield and throw 5 or 6 bubble screens a game?
  11. The kid was an absolute stud today. Great job CG!
  12. He was a bad decision in evaluating his desire. The guy doesn't come to OTA's, shows up overweight and disinterested. That's part of the decision making process as to who you bring in and pay big money to.
  13. Wow has this guy regressed and lost interest. A non-participant in OTA's. Terrible. Eat the salary and cut ties. Bad FA decision.

  15. Great get off at DE. Showed some real quickness and was around the ball all night. He along with Landon Cohen and Bryan Johnson should get long looks.

  17. Most impressive so far has to be Seantrel Henderson.
  18. In the fanspeak mock, I took Moncrief in the 3rd.
  19. EJ could never make the back shoulder throw Ben just made. Is it me or is it painfully obvious how limited he is? And I don't want to hear, "He's a rookie".
  20. This Manuel is going to get someone killed. No instincts whatsoever. Another bad draft day decision.
  21. Well even though they're losing at least they're fun to watch My God this team is so dull with Manuel. Enough with being so freaking conservative with this guy. And who was it that identified Gilmore as one of the top 10 breakout guys this year? He's been awful. Getting torched today.
  22. And yet another "win" for Geno is his postgame comments. Very poised and intelligent. Didn't say "more better" even once!
  23. Bottom line is that Marrone had great success against Geno in the Cuse/WVU rivalry and as a result, couldn't bring himself to drafting him. Can't blame Doug for that line of thinking but three years from now (and probably much sooner - like tonight) everyone will be kicking themselves. And I'm not just saying it because of tonight. Geno is much more instinctive and has the "it" factor. EJ is a great athlete but is very mechanical and just not a natural at the position.
  24. Yes. While EJ may be the "high character guy", Geno is a much more natural passer. More instinctive and accurate. While time will certainly tell the story, I think that in the end, Smith will prove that he should have been the guy. And the beat goes on...
