The Browns will self-destruct on October 21, 2019

Add Antonio Callaway to the mix. He may be the loosest cannon of the bunch. -
How is Dean Marlowe not still around?
Griff28 replied to Griff28's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I get the Anderson up to speed thing and perhaps Marlowe didn't play as well as I/we believe he did (Good point MrEpsYtown) but it still seems odd to bring Towbridge back, instead of Marlowe, at this point when Towbridge wasn't even part of the original PS group after the final cuts were made. -

So the logical move is that he comes back to the practice squad. Instead replaced by a guy they cut 6 weeks ago? Makes no sense. -
The guy has a history with McBeane. Played well in the pre-season. Was on the practice squad for the first four games. Was elevated to the active roster, STARTED and played well in a game five win. Was then cut to make room for a third quarterback and replaced on the practice squad by a TE (Towbridge) who has no real chance of being an active roster guy any time soon. Granted not a huge deal with a back up safety but it all seems very odd...

The kid was thrust into a really tough spot today and did an excellent job.

Fear of Roughing penalty led to Hughes not finishing sack

Heading towards flag football... -
Since the glory days, it' so crazy that no matter who the coaches are, who the players are - this team cannot stop the run, gets killed on third and long, cannot pass protect, and gets penalized like mad. And I know I'm missing things. Why do they look exactly the same, exactly the same ! whether it's Rex , McDermott, Williams, Jauron, etc. It doesn't matter.

Agree with most. Nice job! I agree with eball that Hughes should be in black. I understand your rationale for Alexander being in blue but I think he's a lot closer to black. Don't see that Rafael Bush is a lock. Think Siran Neal should be with the safety group and that he and Bush should both be in blue and that Phillip Gaines is likely closer to black than blue with the CB's. No real issues with what you've predicted on offense. Obviously too bad that Zay Jones is already in blue. I think McCarron is pretty much a lock and unless something were to develop with another QB elsewhere, Peterman can't be far behind him.

Bills UDFA signings & Rookie minicamp invitees
Griff28 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
After signing Ford, it appears the roster is now at 91. I may be wrong but I don't think the draft picks actually count against the 90 player limit, however, until they actually sign. So there is still wiggle room in establishing the 90 man camp roster. -

88 actually. That list doesn't show Wilson Bell from Auburn. -

Obviously not ideal but right now you could go - Dawkins, Groy, Bodine, Ducasse/Miller, Mills/Newhouse. Add any pick and/or free agent to the mix. Bodine and Newhouse both started every game in which they were healthy last year. Draft two guys and add a vet or two down the road and it's not too bad.

Random Bills and what you remember them for

Utah State's Mike Hamby and Hal Garner. -
Happy with the results of the game obviously but...I realize the tractors and brushes last year at halftime of the Steelers game kicked up a ton of rubber pellets and caused a delay but the Bills attributed that to a brush that was too firm. Why did they not use the tractors and brushes that weren't so firm to get rid of 6+ inches of snow for the Indy game???

Offensive pass interference....please explain.
Griff28 replied to TC in St. Louis's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I've watched it 20 times. How can anyone say Holmes extended his arms??? Not even close. It was mutual contact and the DB flopped. That play happens a dozen times in a game and never gets called, especially in the final minute! Awful call. Should have been 1st and 10 at the 20 with 53 seconds left. -
Riddick touchdown drop of JK throw on last play of the game with a cast on his arm in Tampa. Ripped my shirt off Hogan style.
-
KW is the heart and soul of this team and has been for years. Gives everything he has and never ever complains about anything. If only his teammates did the same, he wouldn't be faced with never making the play-offs in a great career. What a shame.

Need to extend this guy asap. He' been a beast.

ESPN reporting that marijuana use is only "part of the equation". Unreal with these guys. -
Ranking ALL Buffalo Bill QB's who have started ONE Game

Orton should be average. Over 3,000 yards and 18 touchdowns doesn't suck. -

IF the Bills cut Shady McCoy...the 2nd thread
Griff28 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
With all the sh** that goes on in this league, why would they cut him for a kind of fight? -
Doubly frustrating to see Bills DB's get scorched, while Ross Cockrell makes plays week after week for the Steelers.
-
Not as one sided as Sheppard for Hughes but my God, Kiko is a shadow of what he showed during his rookie year.
-
He's very very good.
