He's a good GM, or this would not be a playoff caliber team. No doubt. But so far in this free agency, I wouldn't give rave reviews. But it's early and I trust he'll do well.

Guessing the offers he was seeing out there weren't MUCH higher than what the Bills were willing to give. Bet it's a minor pay cut, but you get to stay home, no moving, assuming he has kids (same school) etc etc... Lots of factors to consider and if you are getting let's say 1 million more to go.... he may just have said screw it. Love my teammates etc...

MID FA mock... Now that the FA has started, we've heard about potential for RB Jamal Williams and LB Lavonte David, plus we signed an OG. Here's my mock assuming we actually land these two.... New starting RT, and OG, plus an addition to cushion the blow of losing Poyer, and Edmunds. Lavonte David gets the start, and Dorian Williams replaced Klein on the roster.... Ojomo was my BPA in round 5, and I nabbed Doug Flutie in round 6.

Wondering where he's going in so called "consensus mocks". I'll check it out. EDIT: Looks to be a 5th to 6th rounder in consensus mocks, but we all know QB's are usually drafted higher than their perceived value. I think to get him, it would have to be in the 5th.

78thealltimegreat has me all thinking about Doug Flutie again. Haha.... Maybe Stetson Bennett is the guy in the 5th... He's short but I just watched his hilights, and boy does he have that "spark". Might be interesting off the bench. The only difference now is that Allen is the "Rob Johnson" they all hoped he would be!

That's a good plan but I'm wondering about Bennett's height, being 5'11". If he's the next Doug Flutie, then let's go! LOL
