Explanations: Round 2a). I know that we've been joking about DeJean and picking CB in general, but we lost TWO of our STAR safeties and we need to attempt to replace at least one. DeJean is a bon afide first round talent (but arguably safety, not corner in the NFL). I'm saying that he's a GREAT fit as a Bill but not at corner. We would need him to replace Micah Hyde and compete to start at FS. Our current secondary will NOT fare well against some of these stacked offenses coming up and I'm not just talking about KC.... Look at what the Jaguars are doing for example.... I'm NOT happy with our secondary in the middle right now and DeJean might be as good as a guy like Eric Weddle (pro bowl safety; retired). Why not Adonai Mitchell? Well.... I just think that he's not all that much better than Jermaine Burton out of Alabama and I got him and Brenden Rice at 97 and 114 respectively. Round 2b). I traded up for the Powerhouse in the middle. We need sustained drives, better push for short yardage, and this allows McGovern to stay at OG where I think he is better on this team, while our anchor POWERS-JOHNSON would be a fixture for a decade. Keep an eye on the BEARS. Correct me if I'm wrong but they have the FEWEST picks in the draft and have two first rounders. I could see the Bears trade out of #9. Interestingly I just mocked the Bears and a trade offer was offered to me from.... THE BILLS. The offer was: Bills get: #9 Bears get: #28, #60, #204 AND both 2025 2nd rounders.....
