  1. I doubt it. Unless things have really changed, if you play for NE you don’t free-lance Well, if that’s true, Times have Really Changed in NE and the guy who said they are not a well coached team may just have something.
  2. Does seem that way
  3. Overall, Washington really got robbed by the refs 2x. Collinsworth and their pet expert (is it Perriera?) were even willing to come out and acknowledge it on the air
  4. Will depend somewhat on how our DTs injuries are progressing
  5. He was a WR so he does tend to appreciate DPI when he sees it.
  6. That wasn’t DPI? That was DPI. Washington got Done by the zebras
  7. He needed to make more of himself to handle the increased responsibilities and workload of HC
  8. OMG Giants got a lucky horseshoe up their butts on that penalty
  9. Heinike used up a pint of Pixie Dust on that one.
  10. Agree as the saying goes the Bears are playing us on “Hats and Tshirts Day” Miami succeeded with the run against us because we were very concerned to contain Waddle and Hill and the MIa passing game in general. Who does Chicago have in the pass game that we will have equal concern about?
  11. I couldn’t tell who we were playing inside, but Oliver is playing with 1 arm and a linebacker brace and Jordan Phillips, damn his “prey drive”, wasn’t playing. So that’s our 2 3TDT. Brandin Bryant and Ed Oliver with 1 arm is a big downgrade from healthy Oliver and Phillips. I wouldn’t bet rent money on Basham being in the right place as designated by scheme.
  12. Wow, I think Washington has a good DL, but they have absolutely no answers for Barkley up the middle
  13. Especially if they wind up drafting kinda low If he feels like he’s got a Good Thing going on playing for Daboll in this offense, it’s possible that he might go for a “prove it” deal with incentives that would give them room to look around but pay him well if he keeps the starting job and produces.
  14. Thank goodness you’re not our GM then. Hodgins came off the active roster because we needed space to activate Tre White, but still keep a full complement of DBs ready to play; we also needed guys to fill in with Poyer injured, so we traded for Deane Marlowe. That’s part of managing an NFL roster with injuries during the season. The GM needs to carry guys who don’t need to miss 4 games on IR, but also needs to field enough numbers at all positions on game day. I liked Hodgins and didn’t like to see him go, and I’m sure the Bills would have rather kept him on their PS, but the guy we’re angsting about is averaging 3.5 receptions and <37 ypg for the G-men, #3 or sometimes #4 or #2. That’s ~ productivity we complain about from Dawson Knox and Isaiah McKenzie.
  15. Negative, he was cut from the 53 man roster and had to go through waivers. Giants claimed him off waivers
  16. Yes, he was cut (released) from our 53 man roster
  17. McDaniel is a punky little dork who just may be able to coach. And it pains me to say that. They definitely came into Highmark figuring that the Bills wouldn’t be too worried about the run, so run they could and would. I dunno about “jealous” but I was wondering who wasn’t setting the edge or minding their gap to let them run all over the place. While I was watching the game I felt like they were running and passing all over us and converting 3rd downs at an epic pace, but when I looked at the end of game stats it wasn’t as bad as it seemed - 5 of 14 on 3rd down or about 1/3, Tua 17 of 30 passing. Bills need an OL upgrade
  18. Diggs had 5 receptions on 9 targets, low for him. I can clearly recall one ball that was on target and he could have caught. 6 receptions would put him close to his usual catch %. II don’t know what happened on that long ball where he was open - did Josh throw too long, was the ball caught up in the wind, or did Diggs get held? Diggs had at least one chance he controlled to increase his yards and of course if he’d hauled in that deep shot, he’d have had plenty of yards. I agree, I would have liked to see more running game last night. They came up with run plays that worked against Cleveland, so I think they can do it when they want to. I’ll repeat what I said a few weeks ago after the Jets and Vikes games: “Only Josh Allen can beat the Bills”
  19. Did he seriously say that?
  20. The question is, isn’t is he “good”, it’s is he better than Van Roten or Quessenberry at RG? And he may be, don’t under-estimate the effect of bringing in fresh, strong legs at a time of year when both OLmen and DLmen are by and large playing dinged. Feliciano looked great 2/3 of the way through the season coming back from a torn pec, got a contract, and sucked next year playing “good on good” with everyone healthy.
  21. Sal explains this. The Bills need to activate him today, but the league doesn’t put out a Transaction report today. So unless the Bills announce it (and their employees who do such stuff may be chillaxing on a rare Sunday off), we won’t know until Monday “He’s in concussion protocol” is all the info you’re going to get until he clears.
  22. Bucs damned near de-pantsed that Bengal
  23. WTF was that Bucs? Crap tackling Or do the Bengals RBs just have that good of an ability to juke?
  24. The Bucs could be leading their division at 6-8 with 3 games left. Wrap your minds around that.
  25. It’s interesting because the talk always used to be what a huge success ratio Brady had going for it on 4th and 1.
